00:00Ok so real talk, I wanted a tri-fold case for my iPad and everything I liked was 40 bucks
00:04and up.
00:05So I went digging through the cheap end of the market, and honestly?
00:09I found 5 genuinely good ones, all under $12.
00:14This is the best iPad tri-fold case is under $12, and I'm going to walk you through each one
00:19so you don't waste money.
00:21Fair warning though, every one of these is model specific, so double check your exact iPad model number before you
00:26buy.
00:27This first one's the wildcard compatibility pick.
00:31Look at the title iPad 10th Gen, 9th Gen, A16, the 11th Gen Pro with the M5 chip, the Air
00:3811, even the iPad Mini.
00:40One listing covers half your family's tablets, so if you're buying gifts, this is the one.
00:45Price is $840, which makes it the cheapest full-size option here, and the front cover folds into a stand
00:51at a couple of angles so you can actually watch something while it cooks.
00:55Almost 4,900 people bought it, rating sits at 4.6.
01:00Worth buying because of the range, you get a real tri-fold design without paying tri-fold premium prices.
01:06Second one, this is the one I personally use.
01:09It's called the Shock Pro case, and it comes with a side pencil holder, that's the whole pitch for me,
01:14because my Apple Pencil used to live loose in a bag between charging cables and it drove me nuts.
01:20Side slot keeps it clipped to the case where it belongs.
01:23Price is $868, still well under budget, and it holds a 4.9 rating across almost 4,900 sales, which
01:30is the highest rating on this whole list.
01:33Worth buying if you sketch, take notes, or just hate losing a stylus.
01:37Shockproof build too, which for $10 extra over the cheapest is a no-brainer.
01:42Now this third one might be my favorite design of the bunch, and it's the cheapest thing in the video.
01:48The Y-Fold Magnetic Case, 783
01:52Magnetic closure instead of elastic straps or a buckle, and a 2018 through 2026 range that covers the Air 11
01:58and 13,
01:59the Pro 11 and 13, and even older Airs and Pros, which is wild for a case under $10.
02:05Folds back into a stand, magnets keep the cover shut so it doesn't flap open in your bag.
02:114.9 rating, 4,700 sold
02:14Worth buying on price alone, honestly.
02:17The magnetic fold is what makes it feel more premium than it costs.
02:22Fourth is the one for people who care how the iPad looks.
02:26It's the 3 plus Y-fold flip cover with a clear back, you can see your actual iPad finish and
02:30the Apple logo through it,
02:32so it looks like you barely have a case on.
02:34That extra fold point gives you more stand positions than the others, which matters if you prop it up on
02:39a bed or a desk and type on it.
02:429.86, which is the priciest of the 5 but still under the $12 line.
02:474.7 rating, about 4,500 sold.
02:51Worth buying if your iPad is part of your aesthetic.
02:55Last one, and it's the odd one out.
02:58This is the silicone case, not a folio, not a folding cover, just a protective silicone shell that wraps the
03:03back, with the trifold front cover attached.
03:06So you get the stand, but the back has real grip, and your iPad doesn't slide off a couch cushion
03:12or a table when you knock it.
03:14Price is $974, rating 4.6 with about $4,200 sold, and it covers a wide range of models from
03:20the Mini up through the Air 10.9 and 11.
03:23Worth buying if you carry your iPad everywhere and are tired of it slipping around, the soft-touch finish also
03:28hides fingerprints way better than glossy plastic.
03:32That's the list, 5 cases, all under $12, and every one of them has over 4,000 buys behind it,
03:37which tells you these aren't fly-by-night listings.
03:40Links for all 5 are in the description, price check them before you order because these deals move.
03:46If this saved you some money, hit like, and subscribe, I'll keep hunting down the good stuff so you don't
03:51have to.
