00:00You know that moment when your key ring splits and two keys scatter across the parking lot?
00:04Yeah, me too. So I went hunting for the best deals on fixing weak keychains with split key rings,
00:11and these five are the ones actually worth your money.
00:14First up, this 30-piece silver-plated set with climbing buckle carabiner clips.
00:19For $4 you get split rings plus a chain with a little carabiner already attached,
00:24so you can clip keys to a bag loop and attach them without unhooking everything else.
00:29Over 4,500 sold, 4.8 stars. Great starter if you're making a bunch of keychains at once.
00:36Next, this silver-color metal blank split ring set, and the neat part is you pick the pack.
00:4220 pieces if you're doing a handful of keychains, 50 if you're going in bulk.
00:47Just under $4,000 sold, and the rings hold closed way better than the flimsy ones.
00:53Cheapest way to restock a whole drawer of blanks.
00:56This is the one I actually keep on my everyday carry.
01:00Homefish pull-apart quick-release split ring, heavy-duty, and you squeeze the connector to
01:05pop one key off in a single motion, no fighting the ring with your thumbnail.
01:09$9, 4.9 stars, highest rating of the whole bunch.
01:14Spend the extra couple dollars, your keys stop wrestling you.
01:18Cheapest option on the list, and honestly the best value.
01:22These flat split rings come in packs of 10, 20, or 40 for about $3.16.
01:28The flat profile slides into tight pockets and locker slots without snagging, and the thicker
01:32metal keeps the split from opening up on its own over time.
01:36$2,000 sold and climbing.
01:38Last one, this metal set that already comes with split rings linked to a short chain,
01:43key fob style.
01:44You drop your key through the ring, clip the chain, done.
01:48No bending wire, no hardware store trip, no tools.
01:53Just over $4, a bit over $2,000 sold, 4.8 stars.
01:57If you hand these out as gifts, this is your pick.
02:01All five links are in the description, so grab whichever one fits your keys.
