00:00Best Solar Animal Deterrence Under $25 Video Script
00:04Alright, let me save you some money and some headache.
00:07I went through the top-rated animal deterrence on the market, and everything here comes in under $25.
00:14Whether it's cats digging up your flowerbeds, dogs losing their minds on your porch,
00:18or snakes slithering around your garden wall, one of these five is going to solve that problem for you.
00:24And yes, there's a genuine solar-powered option in here, so stick around for number five.
00:30Now, the Cat Spike Mat
00:32This one's the most popular pick in the whole category, over 3,800 sold, and a perfect 5-star rating,
00:38which tells you it's not going anywhere.
00:41You know those plastic spike strips that protect outdoor cushions and plant pots from cats treating them as scratch posts?
00:47This is the full-grid version, and it works indoors too,
00:51so you can put it on a sofa arm or a doormat and the spikes discourage the scratching without ever
00:55hurting your animal.
00:57It covers a wide area, it's weather-ready, and at $10.59, it's an easy yes.
01:03Honestly, the best part is how invisible it works, you said it,
01:06your cat figures out real fast that the couch is off-limits, and you never have to say a word
01:11about it.
01:12Next up is the Ultrasonic Flea, Tick, and Bird Repeller.
01:16$7.48, almost 5,000 units sold, rating of 4.9, that's a really strong score for a device this
01:23small.
01:24This is the one you plug in near your pet's bedding or your garbage cans,
01:28and it sends out ultrasonic frequencies that irritate fleas, ticks, and birds so they don't settle in.
01:33Two things sold me, it's rechargeable, so you're not burning through batteries,
01:37and there's a little indicator light that tells you it's actually working and powered up.
01:42Most people pair it with a regular flea treatment for belt and suspenders protection,
01:46but on its own it's a great cheap extra layer,
01:48especially if your dog loves to roll in whatever gross patch of grass he finds.
01:53Third is the Scat Mat with Spikes, and this is a different job than the first mat.
01:58This one's built for the cat who leaves presents on your doormat or in your flowerbeds,
02:02plus the dog who digs holes like he's looking for buried treasure.
02:06$1,653, rating of 4.8, and about $3,500 sold.
02:11Lay it down in front of the litter box exit, on the porch, or under your window boxes,
02:16and the spikes make the surface uncomfortable enough that they think twice.
02:20My one note, you have to actually place it where they go.
02:24Put it in the wrong spot and it's just a doormat.
02:27But get it right, and it cuts down the accidents and the yard excavation almost overnight.
02:32Now the portable ultrasonic dog repeller, and this is the one you keep in your pocket.
02:38$775, 5-star rating, $3,400 sold.
02:42It's a handheld remote pointed at a dog, hit the button, and it fires an ultrasonic burst that most
02:47dogs find startling and unpleasant, so it stops barking, stops charging, stops chasing.
02:53The LED light on it means you can see if it's on, and there's a training mode too,
02:57so you can pair the sound with a command and actually teach your dog rather than just startle him.
03:02Great for the neighbor's dog that won't shut up at 6 in the morning, or the stray that runs through
03:07your yard.
03:08Also a nice travel companion for camping and hiking.
03:12Skipped, no-shot list slash b-roll markers, add when you cut the actual video.
03:17Note, only number 5 is truly solar, number 2 is USB rechargeable,
03:21hashtag 1 slash hashtag 3 are passive, number 4 is handheld.
03:26Script flags this honestly and P5 and P1 keeps the category framing, keep the title,
03:31but don't claim all 5 run on solar.
