For three decades, the Audi A3 has been appreciated all over the world. With its combination of everyday practicality, premium character, and technical innovation, the model has established itself as a fixture in the international automotive market.
From the very beginning, the model series has been produced at Audi’s headquarters in Ingolstadt. In addition, due to high demand, local production began in 1999 at the São José dos Pinhais plant in Brazil. In the early 2000s, production was expanded to include the Győr plant at Audi Hungaria. To this day, the Audi A3 remains a key contributor to the brand’s identity. Since production first began, more than six million A3 models have rolled off the assembly line and been delivered to over 100 countries worldwide—making it one of the most successful model series for the brand with the four rings.
