00:00Hashtag fix composite resin gaps with these dental wedges.
00:04Midnight to 013.
00:06Real talk, you know that moment when you sculpt a posterior composite and the contact point opens right up?
00:12That gap is the whole ballgame.
00:15I buried myself in dental wedge listings so you don't have to.
00:19These are my 5 best deals for fixing composite resin gaps with these dental wedges.
00:24013 to 037.
00:27Number 1, the 40-piece dental wedge matrix set elastic rubber fixing wedges with contoured sectional matrix gaskets, $4.57.
00:36The rubber stretches and grips the matrix band so it won't creep while you light cure.
00:41Tight seal at the contact point is exactly what stops resin from washing out.
00:46Big box, small price, and this is the one that lives in my tray on nearly every restoration.
00:53037 to 101.
00:55Number 2, the 100-piece box of disposable dental wedges, $2.03, which is basically pocket change.
01:02For colors so you grab a size without squinting, and you can pick the version with the circular hole or
01:08the one without the end.
01:09For pre-wedging a contact open, this is the buy-in bulk, hide it in every drawer option.
01:15101 to 125.
01:17Number 3, the silicone adaptive composite sealing wedge, 40 or 100 pieces, $12.23, yeah, priciest on the list, and
01:26here's why.
01:28Silicone flexes and molds to the contour of the tooth instead of fighting it.
01:32For diastema closure and gap restoration it's in a league of its own.
01:37No chipping, no rebound, and it protects enamel while it sets.
01:42125 to 148.
01:44Number 4, the prime teeth fender wedge, 50 pieces a box, $9.20.
01:50Neat part is the protective steel blade, the fender shields the gingiva while you wedge, so you're not shredding soft
01:56tissue just to hold the matrix in place.
01:59Cleaner margins, happier patients.
02:01Worth it if you work deep sub-gingival cases.
02:05Prices and ratings pulled from listing, $4.57-4.8, $2.03-4.9, $12.23-4.9, $9.20
02:16-4.7, $5.12-4.8.
02:20Ratings and prices drift, check live listing before filming price shots.
02:24Reck breaks in real-time movements.
