Gerusalemme, 19 ott. Tuttavia, anziché riuscire a mantenere o potenziare tale assistenza, ci vediamo costretti a ridurla.

00:00The World Food Programme has been reaching between 1.5 and 1.8 million people every month for the last
00:07eight months, and this has been a lifeline.
00:09But now, rather than being able to sustain and scale up that assistance, we're actually having to reduce it.
00:16And that's not because we don't have humanitarian access to deliver food, that's because we don't have funding.
00:22So essentially we're going from assisting about 75% of the population with good and substantial rations to perhaps less
00:31than 50% of the population with smaller rations.
00:34And that's the choices that we have to make in order to ensure that our resources reach the most vulnerable
00:41and last as long as possible.
