00:00Dental impressions looking like a crime scene?
00:03Composite oozing everywhere, contacts too tight, margins a mess?
00:07Yeah, been there.
00:09I went digging and found five matrix band kits that fix that fast and two of them cost less than
00:14a coffee.
00:15First up, the 100-piece sectional matrix system with two metal clamp rings.
00:220.035mm thickness, thin enough to slip through tight contacts, stiff enough not to buckle when you burnish.
00:27Two rings included, so you're not hunting for a separator mid-restoration.
00:33$4.60
00:35That's 4 cents a matrix.
00:374.9 stars, almost 5,000 sold.
00:41If you're just starting out or restocking on a budget, this is the one.
00:46Next, the AG matrix strips stainless steel and clear resin film in one pack.
00:51Light-cured resin matrix bands, 5, 6, and 7mm widths,
00:56So you pick the height for the tooth instead of forcing one size to fit.
01:00Perfect 5-star rating, no complaints.
01:034.46
01:05Grab these as a backup roll for anteriors and clear cure cases, they pay for themselves in one filling.
01:11Now the big one, and yeah, it's the expensive 1.3674.
01:16But look what you get, 1-3 full sectional matrix system sets, matrices, clip ring, plastic wedges, the whole instrument
01:23setup.
01:24This is the buy-once kit.
01:27If you're setting up a new operatory or you're tired of piecing together cheap parts that don't fit each other,
01:32this is the complete package.
01:344.9 stars, 4,700 sold.
01:38Back to budget territory.
01:41100-piece sectional matrix system, 1.398 matrices, 2 metal clamping separating rings, same 0.035mm thickness.
01:50Basically the workhorse setup with a slightly different ring design, some people prefer the clamping feel on this one.
01:575.51, 4.8 stars, over 4,600 buyers.
02:02Solid middle ground pick if the cheapest ring felt too light for you.
02:06And the cheapest of the bunch, 3.21.
02:09100 pieces of sectional contoured matrices plus metal rings.
02:14Contoured, so they hug the tooth curve and give you a better emergence profile without extra sculpting.
02:203 bucks.
02:224.8 stars, 4,500 sold.
02:25Honest answer, at this price, buy 2 and never run out mid-procedure.
