00:00Hook, mulch ring or weed barrier fabric? Both stop weeds. Different jobs.
00:07I pulled the 5 best sellers on the list so you don't have to dig.
00:11First up, the 5-pack non-woven tree mulch ring. 15-82 cm, so it fits anything from a young
00:18sapling to a mature trunk. You just slide it around the base, tuck the edges, done.
00:24No cutting, no measuring twice. 4,986 people bought these, 4.7 stars, and it's only $4.72
00:33for 5. That's under a dollar a tree. If you've got a row of shrubs, this is the cheap fix.
00:41Next, the perforated weed barrier fabric. Perforated is the key word here.
00:47Water and air still get through to your soil, but weeds don't. That makes it the better pick
00:53for vegetable beds where you're watering constantly. It's $9.72, 4.7 stars, nearly $4,800 sold.
01:02If mulch rings feel too fussy for a veggie patch, grab this instead.
01:06Then the thick and non-woven ground cloth. This one is thicker than the standard stuff,
01:12which matters because thin fabric tears the second you drag a wheelbarrow over it.
01:16Lay it down a path or under gravel and it holds. $11.74, 4.7 stars, 4,400 sales.
01:26Worth it if you want something that survives a full season of foot traffic.
01:30Now the heavy-duty mulch ring, and honestly this is my favorite.
01:35Same 15-82cm range, but beefed up, and it's rated 4.9 stars.
01:40That's the highest rating on the whole list, and it's only $1 more than the 5-pack at $5.72.
01:48If you're planting trees you actually care about, spend the extra buck.
01:523,900 people already did.
01:55Last one is the big roll.
01:581181 inches wide, premium landscape fabric at $42.12.
02:04Yeah, it's the priciest thing here, but you're buying a roll, not a pack.
02:09Cover a whole garden bed or a long driveway edge in one go.
02:134.8 stars, $3,677 sold.
02:17Buy this one if you're doing a project, not a plant.
02:21So there it is.
02:23Mulch ring for trees and shrubs, barrier fabric for beds and paths.
