00:00If you cook in a small apartment, you already know the drill, you sear one steak and the smoke alarm
00:04turns into a dinner guest that never leaves.
00:07So I went digging and found 5 portable range hoods every apartment cook needs.
00:12All of them fit on a counter.
00:15Let's get into it.
00:17First one, and honestly the best place to start if you're testing the waters, a USB desktop range hood with
00:22adjustable angle and seriously strong suction for its size.
00:26Point it at the hot pot, point it at the grill, it moves the way you need it to.
00:31It's $28.51, and with $4,789 sold and a 4.9 rating, clearly I'm not the only one who
00:38thinks it works.
00:40Next up, basically the same idea but with a bigger pull, this one's advertised as a large suction cooker hood,
00:46USB powered, meant for barbecue and small kitchen extraction.
00:50If you cook a lot of steak or anything greasy, the extra airflow makes a real difference.
00:56It's $30.71, 4,678 sold, 4.9 stars.
01:02$2 more than the last one for more power, that's a fine trade.
01:07Number 3 is the one I'd pick if you want a bit more tech.
01:10Two speeds, a retractable body so it tucks away when you're not using it, and a negative ion air purifier
01:16built in so it's not just pulling smoke, it's cleaning the air afterward.
01:20That matters in a studio where smells travel.
01:24It's $34.11 with a perfect 5-star rating, 4,637 sold.
01:31Great middle ground.
01:33Now this next one is the premium pick, and I want to be straight with you, it's $98.17.
01:39That's a lot, way more than the others.
01:42But it's a real oil fume absorber and purifier, not a fan pointed at a pan, and if you live
01:47somewhere tiny and cook every single day, it's the one that behaves closest to an actual hood.
01:534,443 sold, 5 stars.
01:56Worth it only if you're serious.
01:59Last one is the budget hero.
02:02$26.31, cheapest here, and it's the quietest of the bunch, low noise, with height and angle adjustment so you
02:09can dial it to exactly where the steam comes off your pan.
02:134,327 sold and 5 stars, which for the cheapest option is honestly impressive.
02:18If you share walls with neighbors and cook at midnight, start here.
02:23That's the list.
02:24Every link is in the description below, check prices, they move around.
02:29If this helped, drop a like and subscribe, I do these breakdowns every week.
02:34Catch you in the next one.
