273 million children are out of school today, and that number has risen seven years in a row. One in every six children in the world, locked out of a classroom.

In Pakistan, 28% of school-age children are out of school. One in five was never enrolled at all.

But since 2000, 327 million more children have entered school. When countries put equity first, the numbers move.

This is not fate, it is a choice we keep making, and it is one we can unmake. Together.
