00:01Yes, a bit of a stretch for Zuratuzza, it's Rakitic, Swarid, lovely return ball to Messi, Messi goes round, Rulli,
00:10Rulli responds brilliantly, that's why many people see Geronimo Rulli as the future goalkeeper of the Argentine national side.
00:20They'll be international teammates and the great thing that he knows is that once he's forced Messi to go that
00:25way, the likelihood is he won't strike it with his right foot and he'll try desperately.
00:30Jose, Sergio Berto bursting forward, does superbly well to find Messi, Messi's got options here, still Messi, lays it off
00:39to Swarid, Swarid trying an audacious shot, what a brilliant finish from Luis Swarid, that is sheer class to get
00:48Barcelona's equaliser.
00:50Five minutes gone from the restart and for the first time since the referee's whistle started this game, there's a
00:57slight glimmer of a smile on the face of Ernesto Valverde.
01:02There are two really important things to say, Simon. This started with William Jose pressing Pique at the back in
01:09exactly the kind of situation which has caused Real Sociedad so much success so far.
01:13He gets to Roberto and he dribbles through three men. He breaks the lines. At the point at which the
01:19lines are broken, Messi has time and space on the ball, ignores the first pass to Suarez, waits until it's
01:27the right time.
01:27And that angle doesn't show you the movement of Suarez to open his body like that. When you see the
01:34move from behind and Suarez is just gyrating his body, they call it opening his body so that he can
01:40get that.
01:42John Marulli taking a while to decide on the best plan of action. Floating towards the centre circle where it's
01:50won by... Oh, what an easy goal for Luis Suarez.
01:56And Suarez celebrates as Barcelona come from 2-0 down to 3-2 up with 90 minutes to go in
02:05Anueta and Ruiz will be ruining that one.
02:08If my eyes don't deceive me, the wrestlers that are completely deceived by the fact that Suarez is onside and
02:15I think it's Messi who's not, they kind of freeze for a minute.
02:18They kind of think the whistle's going to go. You have to compliment for brilliant finishing. It's just Messi walking
02:24back and therefore currently not interfering, not causing any problem.
02:30Suarez starts in an onside position. It looks like a good goal.
02:33Yeah, it does to me too. I think you're absolutely right. You're reading of it. It's a poor clearance and
02:38lacklustre one, really.
02:40There are two Barca players there to win it. The calmest of finishes from Suarez.
02:45Taking again the right decision in ignoring Leo Messi. He does.
02:50Moments for Rennes. It's a learning process.
02:54There's a chance. Brilliantly saved.
02:56From Messi by Rulli. That was a really awkward one for the Argentine keeper.
03:02And for the second time, Diego Laurenti saves an absolute certain goal. He's worked his socks off tonight.
03:08What a flick from Messi. Getting it onto his right foot.
03:13Calling it a weaker right foot is absurd, really, isn't it?
03:17Yeah, obviously 600.
03:19The visibility isn't that bad, but it is still chucking it down.
03:24Messi over the wall.
03:24Oh, well, that is the genius of Leo Messi.
03:30And that, ladies and gentlemen, is that.
03:334-2 to Barca.
03:35And listen to the players celebrate there.
03:38The genius of Leo Messi.
03:41An extraordinary free kick.
03:44You've got a feel for poor old Geronimo Rulli.
03:47If you're going to end a 10-year streak of not winning in a stadium in La Liga, that's the
03:52way to do it.
03:53And I'm certain.
03:54We know he's got superpowers.
03:56And he was listening to our commentary.
03:58I would not have a word of criticism, Leo, but when I said that he'd only scored three times.
04:03And his goals had only merited a point up until this point.
04:07I suspect he just there and then decided, I'm going to do that.
04:12Rulli absolutely rooted to the spot.
04:15It's, they all jump, they all jump, will you?
