Ah Jia (played by Carlos Chan) and Ke Yi (played by Michelle Wai) met at a wedding and hit it off immediately. After five years together, they now face the ultimate crisis in their relationship: marriage! For Ke Yi, marriage is the ultimate proof of love; for Ah Jia, it is the graveyard of love. The two find themselves locked in a deep, complex battle of the sexes over this very issue. Ke Yi’s best friends, Jenny (played by Hedwig Tam) and Jessica (played by Renci Yeung), hatch a plan: get her pregnant! Surely, a pregnancy would make marriage inevitable, right? Realizing that Ke Yi is launching a "forced marriage" campaign, Ah Jia—with the help of his buddies, Grizzly (played by Chu Pak-hong) and Ah Jian (played by Kaki Sham)—prepares to fight back, determined to hold his ground against tying the knot. As her schemes are repeatedly uncovered, Jessica resorts to her trump card: an aphrodisiac! Upon learning of this, Grizzly risks his own life to tip off Ah Jia, despite his precautions, Ah Jia let his guard down and fell into Ke Yi’s trap, resulting in a highly pleasurable—but unprotected—night together. Terrified by the consequences, Ah Jia—egged on by his friend Ah Jian, a playboy staunchly opposed to marriage—hatched a desperate "post-coital mission": to secretly get Ke Yi to take the morning-after pill within the critical 36-hour window. Ah Jia eventually thought better of it and abandoned the plan, but the truth came out anyway. With no way to defend himself, he left a heartbroken Ke Yi with no choice but to end the relationship. Now single, the two found themselves in very different places: supported by her friends, Ke Yi moved past the gloom, refocusing on herself and reviving her long-held dream of a working holiday abroad. Meanwhile, Ah Jia initially relished his newfound freedom, but as time passed, he found himself increasingly consumed by an unbearable sense of emptiness. It was then he realized that what he feared most wasn't marriage—it was the prospect of losing Ke Yi forever. Determined to win her back before she could fly off to another country, he took decisive action, launching a bold, last-ditch plan to make her his wife!
