00:00Hey everyone! If you've ever wanted to get into RC flying without immediately crashing
00:05your investment into a tree, getting the right trainer plane is the way to go.
00:09Today, I've tracked down the absolute best deals on the top 5 RC airplane PNP trainer
00:14kits that make learning easy, durable, and genuinely fun. Let's jump right in!
00:20Kicking things off, we have the Volantex RC Ranger 600, sitting at around $85.
00:26The standout feature here is definitely the rear pusher prop design paired with a rock-solid
00:316-axis Euro stabilizer. Because the propeller is positioned safely behind the wing, nose-in
00:37crashes won't snap your motor or prop, which saves you a ton of frustration while learning the sticks.
00:42It's ultra-stable, super-forgiving in light wind, and with a 4.7-star rating from thousands of pilots,
00:48it's easily one of the most reliable trainers you can buy on a budget.
00:52Next up is a true club-level classic, the FMS PA-18 Super Cub.
00:57Coming in at around $238, this is a larger 1,300mm wingspan PNP trainer that gives you that authentic,
01:06gentle-scale flying experience. My favorite thing about this model is the oversized Tundra tires
01:11combined with functional flaps, meaning you can take off and land smoothly on bumpy grass fields where
01:16smaller planes usually nose over. It's a bit more of an investment, but the build quality and
01:21realistic flight characteristics make it worth every single penny.
01:25At number 3, we've got the FX9706, priced right around $111. What makes this 580mm glider special is
01:35that it packs a punchy brushless motor and a switchable 3D to 6G Euro system. You can start
01:41in 6G mode for self-leveling stability while learning the ropes, and once you get comfortable, flip over to
01:463D mode to pull off loops, rolls, and advanced maneuvers. It hits that perfect sweet spot between
01:52an easy beginner trainer and a plane you won't outgrow anytime soon. Coming in at number 4 is the
01:58Volantex RC Sport Cub 500mm, which is an absolute steal at just under $82. This little high-wing
02:06trainer is super lightweight, compact, and made from tough crash-resistant EPP foam that bounces right
02:11back from rough landings. Its high-wing profile gives you natural self-riding stability, making
02:16it practically fly itself in beginner mode, and the compact size means you can take it to any local
02:21park or soccer field without needing a massive runway. If you want maximum portability and pure fun
02:27without spending much, this is a killer option. Rounding out our list is another variation of the
02:33fan-favorite Volantex Ranger 600 EPP Edition, also priced around $85. Just like its sibling,
02:40it utilizes that high-durability EPP foam construction combined with the proven 4-channel
02:456-axis flight control system. The pusher prop layout keeps the mechanical bits protected,
02:51and the glide ratio on this airframe is fantastic, even if you cut the throttle completely,
02:55it floats down gently like a feather. It's an ultra-reliable, battle-tested trainer that
03:01delivers consistent, stress-free flights every time you hand-launch it.
03:05That wraps up our top 5 picks. If you want to grab any of these trainers at the best prices,
