00:00There's nothing worse than trying to unwind on the patio only to get swarmed by bugs,
00:04but traditional coils can be a real fire hazard and a total mess.
00:08That's why I track down the top 5 aluminum mosquito coil holders on the market right now,
00:13they keep your space completely safe, catch every bit of falling ash, and cost barely anything.
00:18Starting off at just $5.34, this classic portable coil tray is an absolute workhorse for your
00:24backyard. The standout feature is the protective vented lid, which lets the repellent smoke
00:30circulate freely while preventing pets, kids, or stray leaves from touching the hot ember.
00:35It's already sold over 4,500 units because it's practically indestructible and easy to
00:40toss into your deer bag for outdoor trips. If you want something with a bit more style,
00:45this two-piece triangular set comes in at $7.78 and delivers fantastic value.
00:51The geometric wrought iron design looks more like modern outdoor decor than bug control,
00:56and the deep built-in tray does an awesome job catching loose ash.
00:59Getting two holders at this price point means you can easily place one on each side of your
01:04seating area for full coverage protection. For anyone who hates messy cleanup,
01:09this round-covered coil box at $5.77 is well worth picking up. What makes it great is the raised
01:16internal support grid that keeps the coil elevated for continuous airflow so it never burns out halfway
01:21through the evening. It boasts an impressive 4.9 rating because it's completely enclosed,
01:27wind-resistant, and dumps out clean in two seconds flat. If you tend to burn larger,
01:32extended-life coils, this heavy-duty white burner box at $6.74 is your best bet.
01:38The extra diameter means oversized spirals won't touch the outer walls and extinguish accidentally.
01:44It handles high heat effortlessly, feels solid in the hand, and is a lifesaver if you're hosting a
01:50long summer cookout and don't want to constantly reload your repeller.
01:54Finally, we have this ultra-portable metal burner with a secure lid for just $5.41.
02:00Its best feature is the sturdy carry handle, which lets you safely reposition the hot holder around
02:05the patio or even hang it near your campsite. Backed by another near-perfect 4.9 rating,
02:11it gives you dependable bug defense in a compact, travel-ready design that holds up season after
02:16season. I've put all the direct links to each of these coil holders down in the description below
