00:00C'est Nordine Benham-Rouche
00:03Looking to his starters
00:05To get them off to a flyer
00:08Ryan et Amadouche
00:11Is on the bench but he did score
00:14Seven times in qualifying
00:16Three times in fact
00:19Nine of the 14 players based in France
00:24Amad
00:26Is on a booking and will have to be wary
00:30Amadouche
00:32Amadouche
00:33Rass comes in to the starting five
00:36Along with Aziz
00:39And also Abdelaziz
00:45That sees a drop to the bench
00:48For Booksham, Otman and Saeed
00:52But of course his rolling subs
00:55When it comes to Futsal
01:00The starters obviously nominal
01:03But everyone
01:08So underway
01:10Libya
01:12Get us kicked off
01:14And they need to show much more than they did against Zambia
01:17And they're trying to strike from the off
01:19Being a lot more aggressive but that's offering an opportunity for Algeria
01:24Lovely cutback but it just ran
01:26So important
01:29Very touch to be sharp
01:31And your movement to be good
01:33And that ball was certainly moving off the boot
01:36A 34 year old Libyan captain
01:38To create space and overloads
01:41Can't stay still in Futsal
01:43Lovely ball to the back post
01:45He's taking the goal out
01:46That was the commitment from Abu Rasen
01:51Let's see one
01:53Foreign base player who plays his Futsal in Morocco
01:56He now sets it up
01:58Great save with the foot of Tefaf
02:01To deny Ibrahim Lem Amel
02:05Ziyad Aziz
02:06Now he's out of his box
02:08Trouble brewing
02:10As Algeria look for a first major striking goal
02:14But that's the door slammed shut
02:16By the captain Abu Ras
02:19Well driven across by Bilal Bentu
02:23Now was that off the arm
02:26There is in place for a much streamlined version of VAR
02:31We just haven't got going at this AFCON
02:36After offence review
02:39Offence penalty area
02:42Epistria movement at the ball
02:44Final decision penalty kick
02:46Well it's a challenge that has paid off
02:51Algeria keep their two challenges
02:54Big intake of breath
02:55A long run up
02:56And a brilliant save
02:59Not once
03:00But twice
03:03Belated birthday present
03:06As he stepped in
03:08Ahead of Feras Bakshin
03:13And he has paid off
03:15His coach
03:17Big time
03:18Final match against Zambia
03:20Who
03:20We get to see
03:23How they fare
03:24Against the best in Africa
03:26Here's Libya
03:27The strike is a beauty
03:31Well that left foot is exceptional
03:34And Ibrahim Lem Amel
03:35Has had plenty of opportunities
03:38Throughout the competition already
03:41But it's come to fruition
03:44As Libya
03:46Take a vital lead
03:48The first time they've led
03:49At this AFCON 2026
03:53The ball
03:55Well set up there by Rashid
03:57But he still had so much to do
03:59Look at the whip on this
04:02Round Bessa
04:03Now on the ball
04:05And Abente
04:07Not making himself popular
04:08With those in red
04:09But he won't care
04:10If he can be a history man
04:13What a hit
04:16Just flashed wide
04:19Brilliant play from the Avion Fitsal player
04:22The youngest in the squad
04:24But the one taking it on
04:27Responsibility
04:28That's given away cheaply
04:32Oh it's such smart play
04:33Lem Amel's in
04:35He couldn't punish Algeria
04:42Long one for the folly
04:43Oh ho ho
04:46That was a piece of magic
04:48But even better
04:50From Zia Razzes
04:51Well he has certainly come into
04:54Possession of the gloves
04:55And he is not willing to let go
04:57To flex
04:58And a great first touch from it
05:01Amadou
05:02Fine effort
05:03But again Zia Razzes
05:06Has been terrific
05:07And now it's two
05:10Brutal on the Phoenix
05:14And the Mediterranean Knights have slashed through them
05:20From defence to attack
05:22In the blink of an eye
05:24Libya
05:25Two to the good
05:27Two to the good
05:29And his victory
05:30Now within sight
05:33Great finish
05:36From Abdel Hakim Rashid
05:40Whipped it in
05:41In off the post
05:45Now it's Libya
05:47Now it's Libya who break
05:47Fired in
05:49It's a fine save
05:50Although
05:51Corner to the Mediterranean Knights
05:55And Tefaf
05:57Playing as an extra outfield player
06:00Looking for something
06:02And history
06:04Has arrived
06:05For the Phoenix
06:08The first ever goal
06:11From Nigeria
06:13At the Futsal
06:16Africa Cup of Nations
06:18Africa Cup of Nations
06:21Caught out Ziyad Aziz
06:25What a moment
06:27For Ali Skender
06:28Ski
06:29Ski
06:30Shaib
06:36Cleared away
06:37And now
06:38Just pass
06:40And that's the kind of luck
06:41Algeria are going to need
06:44Phoenix are going to have to throw caution to the wind
06:49And it's a brilliant save that even keeps them in the match
06:58Well Abu Ras with a stunning ball into the area
07:02A fifth outfield player if it was sixth they would certainly be happier
07:06It's a lovely touch
07:07Oh there's a nutmeg there
07:10Bintu's gone down
07:11It's a yellow card
07:15Ahmed Abdelaziz
07:17Is now sent off
07:22What a big moment
07:25As he shakes his head
07:27But it's a second yellow
07:30And this is monumental
07:32Because with one minute twenty to play
07:34They will be down
07:36To four players
07:39For two minutes
07:40Or
07:42Unless they concede
07:44So ultimately
07:46It's either
07:48That it becomes
07:49Who got the goal that puts us on a knife edge
07:53The strike comes in
07:54Oh yes!
07:57Algeria celebrate
07:59Like they've won the futsal
08:01AFCON
08:04Well did Tefaf get the last touch
08:06There's no offsides in futsal
08:10But ultimately no one's going to care
08:13Because Nordin Ben Amrush's side
08:17Have leveled this at two apiece
08:20What a hit!
08:23And I think it's Tefaf's goal
08:26Look at that
08:27Visual
08:28The face of Waleed Betarki
08:32But is there going to be
08:35Something
08:37That's going to break hearts
08:40Well the goal was moving off its line
08:43But it wasn't because
08:44Of Samia Tefaf
08:47But without the goalkeeper's touch
08:49It wasn't going to be a goal
08:52Now what about the position of the goal
08:54It's over the line
08:56But is it over the line soon enough?
09:01In all the chaos
09:02Not sure if it was
09:03And I imagine it might be a Libyan
09:07Challenge
09:07You'd expect so
09:09So it's off the post and in off
09:13Samia Tefaf
09:14It's the goalkeeper
09:16Who is netted
09:20Does he push the post
09:23Before it's over the line?
09:30It's going to be incredibly harsh
09:35But the referees have to go with the rule book
09:38And not by emotion
09:43After a view
09:44No offence
09:48So no offence
09:50And great joy
09:52Samia Tefaf
09:54The captain
09:55The goalkeeper
09:57Made
09:58A challenge that was needed
10:00Because the initial shot
10:02From Betarki
10:04Came off the post
10:05It was going out
10:06It's ricocheted off his boot
10:09And it is
10:11The Guardian
10:12Which days will be played at the same time
10:14Final second
10:17It is a historic night for Algeria
10:21Their first goals
10:23And their first point
10:24At the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations
10:28Some nice pictures there
10:29Of sportsmanship at the end
10:31Of sportsmanship at the end
10:31Of sportsmanship at the end
