00:00If you're a collector trying to build out a massive, shelf-dominating squad without
00:03blowing through your entire paycheck, you know the struggle is real.
00:08Army building gets crazy expensive fast, but I've been doing some digging and track down
00:12the top 5 action figure packs for army builders that give you the absolute best bang for your
00:17buck. Let's jump into the lineup. Starting off strong, we have the Joytoy
00:22Warhammer 40k Space Marine Intercessors, covering fan favorites like the Ultramarines,
00:27Blood Angels, and Space Wolves. The best feature here is the sheer modular
00:32variety and interchangeable weapon loadouts, which keep your battle line from looking repetitive.
00:37Sitting right around $33.70, these figures are worth buying because they serve as the
00:42rock-solid backbone for any tabletop-inspired display, packing crisp paint apps and articulation
00:47that make squad poses look effortlessly cool. If you want pure squad volume on a budget,
00:53the Joytoy 1 18th Military Armed Force Series is easily your best play.
00:57What makes these stand out is the sheer amount of detailed modern tactical gear and realistic
01:02accessories you get on a classic 3 ¾-inch scale frame. Priced at just $15.06, it's an absolute
01:10steal for mass troop building, letting you flesh out whole fireteams of gritty modern soldiers without
01:14feeling any buyer's remorse. Next up, every proper army needs an elite command element,
01:20and the Ultramarine's Marnius Kalgar with the Victrix Honor Guard completely delivers.
01:25The standout feature has to be the ornate, gilded armor sculpting and those imposing storm shields
01:30that instantly make the squad look battle-hardened and regal. At $62.93, it's worth the pickup because
01:38it gives your standard grunts a commanding centerpiece and dedicated bodyguard unit,
01:42instantly adding narrative depth to your shelf.
01:45For those who prefer a stealthier, specialist vibe in the ranks, check out the Ravenguard Dark
01:50Fury and more Dathan tactical figures. The best feature is easily the sleek M.
01:55Covey Corvus armor paired with jump packs and sniper loadouts, which breaks up the visual
01:59silhouette of standard ground troops. Coming in at $36, it's well worth buying to give your army
02:05that specialized strike team look, making it seem like your squad is actively maneuvering behind
02:10enemy lines. Finally, to lead your covert forces into battle, you have Corvus Corex,
02:15pre-March of the 19 Legion. His defining feature is undeniably those massive, mechanical bladed wings
02:22and shadow talons, towering over the standard figures and commanding the entire shelf.
02:27At $125, he's definitely a premium investment, but he's worth every cent as the ultimate capstone
02:33centerpiece that ties your entire Ravenguard detachment together into a unified legion.
