00:04And here they come. Two seasons ago on this very pitch, Stuttgart were too strong.
00:10In goal is Dominik Takac, Slovakia international. He kept the score down almost single-handedly against Stuttgart last time.
00:18There's no Maximilian Mittelstadt tonight. The Germany left-back cut his heel at Paderborn,
00:23but the Dutchman Ramon Hendricks is keen for his homecoming.
00:29And we're underway in Bratislava. Slovakia in the sky blue.
00:34Nice turn by camera. Looking to make something happen for Slovakia and Bratislava.
00:42The early effort, it was a rather speculative one.
00:46Having picked up his first cap for his country this year,
00:49now in Champions League action against Stuttgart, has some defending to do.
00:56He was well over the bar.
01:03Oh, and this is a really positive run forward from Wagnermann, going for goal himself.
01:08He was really straight at Dominik Takac.
01:18He'll be frustrated with himself. Perhaps allowed the ball to drift just a little wide.
01:23Beat the first man, Stihler again. Back into the danger area by Führich.
01:29And another Stuttgart attack comes to nothing.
01:36Good-looking ball in. It was effectively...
01:39Führich's delivery.
01:41It's Chabot. And it's Undab. So, so, so close. Undab again, denied again.
01:49And Dominik Takac just will not be beaten.
01:52Denis Undab's wondering what he has to do to score a goal this season.
01:57Chabot was there. The save by Takac.
02:02He managed to swap the ball away.
02:06Headed back by Chabot.
02:09What a fabulous, fabulous save from Undab.
02:12First time and again. And there the third time.
02:14That is absolutely sensational from Dominik Takac.
02:37Camera losing out to Wagnermann there. Straight back at him. Look at that.
02:41And now he's still looking to thread the ball through.
02:44A good one through to Undab. And an excellent finish.
02:48And finally his first goal of the season for Stuttgart.
02:52It has been a long, long time in coming.
02:56But Stuttgart have been the dominant force in this match.
03:01And finally they put one away.
03:17There is a sell-out. Now Chris Furich from Stuttgart.
03:22Looking to turn the screw.
03:24Away by Beirich. Oh! And set back in with interest.
03:28What a strike that was. Crashed off the top of the crossbar.
03:32Out by Beirich. But just look at that strike.
03:36Now he's still up.
03:39One is on towards El Canoos.
03:42Could open up here for Stuttgart El Canoos.
03:46And the save once again by Takac.
03:56Very presentable save.
03:59And the save once again by Takac.
04:01It was on for cover.
04:04And to Fyrich.
04:08Fyrich is going to go for goal!
04:11Once again Takac denies him.
04:22Fyrich has been ambitious every time he's got the ball.
04:31well they're not going to bother
04:33we're all sorted
04:39and we're back underway
04:40in the Slovakian capital
04:51now they could be in here
04:52a really glorious opportunity
04:55for one all
04:55and it is one all
04:57Solomon Kamara
05:00for Slovak Bratislava
05:05but it looks as though it will not count
05:08all about that touch
05:13good finish
05:16and it is offside
05:18the goal won't count
05:23once again
05:27oh and the strike
05:28what a strike as well
05:30how did that stay out
05:32just off the top of the crossbar
05:35the goalkeeper
05:37Bredlow
05:37and
05:45Wagner man with a cutback
05:47oh it's deflected into the back of the net
05:49and that's so so unfortunate
05:54from Slovak Bratislava's point of view
05:58the own goal
05:59at Stuttgart celebrate
06:04well they're still not giving up
06:06you wouldn't expect this man to do that
06:08Barsekian
06:12Martinez going for goal
06:14going just for a second
06:16Bredlow
06:16in the white and red
06:18of Stuttgart
06:22here they come again
06:24and Sauer
06:24what a moment that would have been
06:31Atakan Karazor the midfielder coming on
06:33and the striker
06:34Dimirovic
06:36with a minute of regular time to go
06:49Asignan with the ball in
06:51oh and that's a final flourish
06:57and that is the punctuation point
07:00on the game
07:02the substitute
07:03Ermidin Dimirovic
07:05Aha
07:07Yurizhang
07:11Is there to be some sort of consolation
07:14right at the death
07:15oh and it was so so close
07:22Marcelli the substitute
07:23with a glorious opportunity
07:26for what would have been a consolation
07:28the goal was absolutely gaping
07:35well another goal here would be really cruel
07:38on Slovak Bratislava
07:39but Stuttgart won't care about that
07:41as Leverling goes for goal
07:43and couldn't get the pace
07:44all the power in the strike
07:46and that really would have been brutal
07:50this cruel
07:51cruel sport
08:00three goals conceded by Dominic Takac
08:02but he still had a fine night
08:04it has to be said
08:06he's been involved in this game
08:08a great deal
08:09made some excellent saves
08:10particularly in the first half
08:31just a few seconds of stoppage time remaining
08:34it's been a professional performance
08:36from Stuttgart
08:38not the best start to the campaign
08:40domestically
08:43but a perfect one
08:45in terms of points
