00:00So nice to meet you. I'm Hatim from Belgium. So I have a few questions for you.
00:04So the first one is, if you remove the costume, special moves, CGI and all stuff,
00:12what would still make fans recognize your character?
00:15I mean, I think our characters are so distinct.
00:19Not just in their aesthetic, their look, but their personalities.
00:23I mean, I can speak for Ken. Ken's kind of like this golden boy, he's a hot mess.
00:28In this film, at least, he definitely is running from himself.
00:34You know, he's distraught from the fallout between himself and Ryu.
00:38He's a feisty guy.
00:39He's a feisty guy.
00:41Fiery.
00:42Fiery.
00:42He's lost his brother and so he's trying to find his way back
00:46and he's filling the void of this kinship with partying and materialistic things
00:52and, you know, external validation from people that probably don't have his best interest in mind.
00:58Yeah, but you're the yin, I'm the yang.
01:02That's right.
01:02Or whatever you want to call it.
01:03And Ryu's the serious, stoic, disciplined guy, honorable, like a wandering samurai.
01:10Yeah.
01:11Um, yeah.
01:12And then we have Chen Li.
01:14Chen Li, she's like a woman on a mission.
01:17Like, she always looks like she's going somewhere, doing something, trying to get something done.
01:23So I feel like when you remove all of that, you see her determination.
01:26I don't know, all the kind of rage she's had to keep within herself because, you know, she's trying to
01:33fight for a lot of things at once.
01:35Um, yeah.
01:37Just a lot of rage.
01:38And she flows.
01:39She can flow.
01:40She sneaks up on you.
01:41She sneaks up on you.
01:42Yeah.
01:43Or just hit you with the...
01:44Yeah.
01:45Hit you with the bang.
01:46Hit you with the bang.
01:46With the...
01:47With the bang.
