00:0115-minute single match: Sakurayama Sasus Mirusawakyo
00:05William
00:30Welcome back to Stardom, and what a way to start tonight's match. I mean, actually, it's
00:34not even tonight. It's 11.30 right here in Tokyo. And look at it. We have Akkorak
00:40uen home. I mean, come on. I wouldn't even go to my son's baseball match at 12, but
00:45here I am right now. Because I can't even see this match right here. I mean, look at this.
00:49It's Many Money versus Ayasakura right here.
00:53Yeah, I'll tell you right here, Stardom is for the absent fathers and for the existent
00:56fathers. It's Ayasakura versus Many Money here tonight in Handicap Action.
01:01Learhen!
01:06161cm 50kg Submission Blast, Full Sour Kikyoha!
01:14For the world's favorite unofficial unit, that is Ito Respect Gundam.
01:19Definitely. Most definitely. And I could see that a lot of t-shirts that people with a lot of
01:24wearing Ito's Respect Gundam t-shirts right here. That's what I'm going to hold
01:28tonight.
01:28This is Akkorakuen. Sakura Ayasakura is Shino-ryujo.
01:44She is the Kozan captain. The cosmic angel captain that is Ayasakura holding not just one,
01:51but two sets of titles. The new blood tag team champions make their way down to ringside.
01:59I know with the absence of her tag team partner Sayaka Kodada, I should say that Ay
02:05asakura has been doing great in terms of being the new young captain of cosmic angels.
02:11And not just being the new, and look at him right there, Sayaka Kodada right there at
02:16the second side on the ringside.
02:18Not cleared for action here tonight as Sayaka Kodada, the former world stardom champion, was
02:22removed from the card just the past 24 hours.
02:25And now a tag team match turned into a handicap situation. Certainly one that's going to work against Ay
02:31Asakura tonight.
02:32Definitely. Definitely. But then again, we should remind ourselves that this card is a kind of familiar matchup we
02:38're seeing right here. Oh, wait up.
02:41It seems like Kiko's got something to say here.
02:51It seems like Kiko's got something to say here.
02:52Oh, apparently they've reached a million views on TikTok. Oh, oh.
02:56Yay. Now that's not just the message to the fans, but to Okada.
03:02Today, I will challenge to Sakura Aya and I will definitely challenge the New Blood Tag.
03:15Today, it's a handicap match, but let's do it.
03:20Let's do it.
03:23Wow, so if they win this match, a handicap match nevertheless, but if they win, they want to go for
03:30another New Blood Tag title again, once again, for Many Money.
03:35Well, let's not forget here, Jimbo, that it was Many Money, Rion and Kikyo Fur
03:40usawa, who had an opportunity back in Ryogoku Sumo Hall for the New Blood Tag Team
03:44Championship.
03:45But Rion, not in attendance, missed out due to injury on that night.
03:49Exactly. And unfortunately, tonight, it's Sayaka Kurana that cannot make it here.
03:54Well, of course, Rion and Kikyo Furusawa going to have the numbers advantage here tonight
03:59over the captain of Cosmic Angels, Ayasakura.
04:02Day 347 in the rain of Ayasakura as we get into the grappling game here.
04:06And we are jam-packed in Corakun Hall here tonight.
04:09A lot of people showing out at 11.30 in the a.m. this Saturday afternoon.
04:13And just right off the start, I mean, we could hear Corakun Hall, everyone just calling out Ay
04:18Asakura's name is right here.
04:19Mm-hmm.
04:21Of course, Ayasakura has been building a lot of fanfare.
04:24We've been seeing a lot of Ayasakura back and forth against women like Hanako, women
04:27Like B. Priestley, too.
04:29B. Priestley not in attendance for our card here tonight.
04:32Luckily, yeah, very lucky for Ayasakura.
04:35Well, it is Rion who looks to take the advantage of all the damage that Priestley and company
04:40might have done over the last few weeks as floats over the top.
04:43There it is, Rion.
04:44And would love to call herself a number one contender.
04:47Oh, what a...beautiful!
04:51And Ayasakura going to take the shot to Kikyo Furusawa as well.
04:56It's been great to see the confidence build of the captain for Cosmic Angels recently, Jimbo.
05:01And just a reminder that this is a handicap match.
05:04I mean, look at Ayasakura.
05:06She's taking initiative really, really early on to this match.
05:10Yeah, this is not the only handicap match that we have on deck later on tonight.
05:13It will be two on three.
05:15Stars versus eight.
05:16A lot has happened since we've last joined you.
05:18All of a double!
05:19Double dropkick from many money!
05:21A lot has happened since we last joined you with English coverage here on Stardom World.
05:25We have new members of Stars.
05:27We have people challenging for titles.
05:28We're going to talk about it all here tonight, Jimbo.
05:30That's exactly right, man.
05:31I mean, just looking at the new Stars roster.
05:34And they have nine members right now.
05:36That's the next as...
05:39That makes it the biggest...
05:40Oh, and look at that! Many Money!
05:44With their signature pose, and the fans absolutely loving it.
05:52Sayaka Kuraru, the only one booing here.
05:55Money!
05:57Money!
05:59Money!
05:59Oh, we didn't know this.
06:01But apparently Kikyo's many and Rion being money of the two.
06:05Ah!
06:06I thought they'd both be money.
06:07That's why there's a lot of them, right?
06:09That's what I thought too, but apparently it's not.
06:10Okay.
06:11Covering a count of one here for Rion.
06:15Of course, it's been many followers that Rion and Kikyo Furusawa have been gaining.
06:20And apparently hitting that magical mark that President Taro Okada put in front of the Ito Respect
06:25Gundon to become an official unit.
06:27That's absolutely right.
06:28And just a reminder that Ito Respect Gundon, the first thing that Okada said was to gain
06:35a million views as a faction, not an official faction.
06:40But since Maki Ito amassed that within weeks, Taro Okada actually gave another thing, which
06:51was to amass a million views by only Rion and Kikyo.
06:55And that's exactly what they did tonight.
06:57Well, Rion and Kikyo certainly are going to be feeling good with all the followers they've
07:01Dead Gaining.
07:01But Ayasakura has not been gaining much in this matchup so far.
07:04Here's the tag and welcome back, Kikyo Furusawa.
07:08Oh, and that is head first for Ayasakura into that corner.
07:12Not a good feeling for the new blood tag team champion.
07:15And you know that...
07:16Oh, he's working the toes again.
07:20Taking a page out of Rion's book here.
07:22Yes, exactly.
07:23Hand it, hand it, hand it, hand it, hand it.
07:25Whoa!
07:28Whoa!
07:29Whoa!
07:30Whoa!
07:30Whoa!
07:31That was a big stomp right there.
07:34Biggest that Sakura has felt so far.
07:36As Furusawa goes to hit the ropes.
07:38Big drop kick down.
07:40Takes down the captain.
07:41Cover here for Kikyo.
07:43Still not enough to put down the new blood tag team champion.
07:47We should say, many money, I mean, we've always kind of seen them as kind of still being a
07:51trainee and rookie.
07:52But I can tell you that they've been gaining a lot of experience in the last few months.
07:56Mm-hmm.
07:57It's been action across the five-star Grand Prix just months back.
08:01Culminating in Ryogoku's Sumo Hall.
08:03The very site of the match that was supposed to take place.
08:06One that we did not get to see all those nights ago.
08:09One.
08:10One.
08:11Many money want to get their new blood tag team title opportunity.
08:14Soon.
08:15Oh, but Rion holding on tight to Sakura.
08:19Double team offense you're seeing there from many money.
08:21Here's the cover for Kikyo again.
08:24Still not enough.
08:25You can see right there that many money's not just, they've actually become a real tag team right
08:30here.
08:31I mean, look at that teamwork right there.
08:33To think that Kikyo, Funesawa, and Rion, if they can become new blood tag team
08:38champions.
08:38Oh, and look at that.
08:39It's a double stomp on the toes.
08:41If they can become new blood tag team champions, Jimbo, they could easily call themselves an official unit with
08:46Maki Ito in the eyes of Okada.
08:49They can't.
08:50Oh, and look at it.
08:53Attacking Daichi Muriyama.
08:55Yeah, Korakun Hall not going to be happy with that.
08:58Muriyama's got to get on the count here.
09:00Oh, and Rion can't find a referee to call that count that cover.
09:03I mean, those toes.
09:05So much pain.
09:06And look at Sayaka Kurata just telling Muriyama to just rest right there.
09:10Hey, give me!
09:12Sakura!
09:13Hey, give me!
09:14Sakura!
09:16Hey!
09:16Now Rion sitting down on the rear chin lock.
09:19Here's to the ropes for Ayasakura.
09:22You have a lot of great action on your card here tonight.
09:25Seven match card main event in Yuna Mizumori versus Natsume.
09:29Oh, and a drop kick from Ayasakura.
09:31High speed championship will be on the line.
09:33That's going to be our main event later on in the evening.
09:39Keep your eyes on Ayasakura now.
09:42Ah, but just when Sakura starts to gain a little momentum,
09:46Here Comes Kikyo Furusawa.
09:48And Sakura got to try and turn things around here.
09:51Oh, wow!
09:52She just took two of them.
09:55That's the power of the captain.
09:57Oh, there we go!
09:59And all of Korakun Hall in the corner of the Cosmic Angels Finest.
10:05Split-like drop kick.
10:06Oh my God! Beautiful!
10:08From Ayasakura.
10:12That's exactly why she's the captain of the Cosmic Angels.
10:15Yeah, Sakura cover for the count of two.
10:19As the former World of Stardom champion,
10:21her new blood tag team champion partner cheering on in her corner,
10:25but that is not a woman she's able to make a tag to right now.
10:27The disadvantage still in Sakura's corner is now...
10:30Wow, once again, Kikyo coming in.
10:33I must say, Walker, I'm pretty impressed by how many money has...
10:37Oh, look at that!
10:39I mean, they got each other's back.
10:41Every time one of them is under trouble,
10:44the other just comes back, comes to support.
10:47I mean, that's pretty impressive.
10:48That's what you see from a, like, premium tag team.
10:51Yeah, that's what the mark of great tag team wrestling has become here in the World Wonder Ring.
10:56As it is, Ayasakura, meanwhile, has been at the top of the new blood tag division for
11:01347 days.
11:03Wants to hold on to another.
11:04Bam!
11:05Big drop kicks there.
11:06Doubled up on the boots for Rion in front of Sawa.
11:09One more time.
11:09Ayasakura is in trouble here.
11:11Cover here for Rion.
11:13Off the crossbody, and it's two.
11:19Tagged in the corner one more time.
11:20Here comes Kikyo.
11:27Oh, to the knees!
11:29Yeah, Futsawa, she's had a passion for this ankle lock since her debut, Jimbo.
11:34There we go.
11:34She could be looking for a tag victory here tonight in this handicap matchup.
11:40Oh, and Kikyo go for another submission.
11:42Drop toe hold, and into the twist of that knee one more time.
11:46Just magnificent.
11:48First the toes down to the knees.
11:50Yeah, the shock wave all the way up and down that lower left leg by Ayasakura.
11:57What's Futsawa thinking here, Jimbo?
12:00I don't know, she might be going for-
12:01Oh!
12:02She might be going for the big one!
12:03Oh!
12:03There's a triangle hole!
12:05Sakura turned it around right there, and Rion!
12:07Oh, and Rion, for the save!
12:08Yeah, coming right back to the save again.
12:11I'm telling you, Jimbo, every single time, Sakura starts to make a way for herself.
12:17Oh!
12:17Beautiful kick!
12:18One of the other members managed to find their way in, but now it's down to two, and K
12:22Ikyo's in some trouble.
12:24As Mr. Wreck did.
12:26Yeah!
12:26Big leg lariat for Ayasakura!
12:31Nice, nice, nice up!
12:37Aya now, whoa, with the Northern Lights into the bridge, here's a two!
12:45All this action and still our opening match of the evening, Jimbo, we have a lot more great to
12:50come.
12:51I mean you can see from Ayasakura's facial expression that she's giving everything
12:55to just defeat Many Money right here
12:59She has to do it all on her lonesome
13:01Go Big or Go Home
13:03And now Lion holding on to that leg
13:05Shuffed off to ringside
13:07Futusawa taking advantage off that distraction
13:13Oh, is she going for a big one?
13:14Oh and that one
13:21I mean, I don't know Walker
13:22I mean I feel like Many Money could pull a big upset right here
13:26Potentially so
13:27Oh and here it comes
13:28Crossbody onto the champion
13:31Rion could have gone for the cover there
13:33Look at Ayasakura's lifeless
13:35Rion and Many Money here we go
13:43Dueling dropkicks here between these two athletes
13:46Just look at those combinations
13:48And a double stunner
13:49Many Money stunner
13:52That's got to be it
13:53Follow on
13:56No
14:00Wow Ayasakura
14:06Victory is within reach for Kikyo Furusawa
14:09She's got to pull out something deep
14:11She's got to win
14:12Look at Sayaka Kurata on the corner
14:14Just calling for her tag partner
14:17Good call she wants
14:19There's no way to make a tag in this handicap fight
14:23Near Ria
14:24Oh my god
14:25Oh come on
14:26There's no need for this
14:27Oh she's putting Sayaka Kurata on the ring
14:29Oh come on
14:29She's not even cleared
14:30Not even cleared of the team tonight
14:35This is absolutely twisted here
14:40I mean I don't know but this might be what it takes to become an official faction
14:45I mean this is the type of thing that we need to see
14:47It's a killer instinct here
14:48It's Kikyo Furusawa holding on tight for the world champion
14:51The former
14:52Right here
14:52It's Rion
14:53Oh no
14:54No Rion
14:56What are you struggling with?
14:57A stunner from Rion
14:59Right here
15:00Oh and it's
15:01No
15:02Toki Mekispear
15:05Toki Mekispear
15:06Toki Mekispear
15:06Oh my god Sayaka Kurata
15:11And here's Ayasakura looking to close in on the victory tonight
15:16Oh
15:17Oh
15:17Oh great counter
15:19Kat the ankle
15:19Kat the ankle again
15:20Here it is
15:21Kikyo Furusawa
15:23Hazer in a world of trouble
15:24Ayasakura's got to find the bottom rope
15:26Go for it Kikyo
15:26Got to find the bottom rope
15:28Get back
15:29Get back
15:30No but to the center
15:33Oh and again
15:34Sakura rolls right through
15:35Great technique here on the champion
15:37Into the cover
15:39Oh what a wage cover
15:40Oh beautiful
15:42Beautiful counterfair
15:44For Amayasakura
15:4612 minutes 1 second
15:47Showsha
15:48Sakura Aya
15:50Ira Walker
15:54I thought this was a handicap match
15:56But apparently
15:57It just turned out to a tag team match
15:59Well Rion and Kikyo Furusawa
16:02Stuck their nose on the outside of the ring
16:04Sayaka Kurata
16:05Well she tried to stay out of the action as much as she could
16:08But at the end of the day
16:09Aya Sakura able to pull this one out
16:12Victory here tonight
16:13For the new one tag team champion
16:16But I mean again
16:17I mean, just a reminder that
16:18Sayaka Kurata is injured at this very moment
16:21But she pulled off
16:22And Tokimegi's spear right there
16:24Yeah
16:24Just came in clutch
16:26To save my tag team partner
16:32But then again I mean many money's got no one else to blame
16:35But themselves for bringing up
16:37A wrestler of a caliber with Sayaka Kurata onto the ring
16:42That's what you get
16:43That's what you get
16:44Oi
16:47Nani ga tuei sei doodou da kusokaki daba
16:50Ayasakura not happy with the way many money fought tonight
16:53Sakura
16:55Sakura
16:57Sakura
17:05It's still amazing
17:05Go
17:06It's telling them that
17:10That she
17:11That she
17:19I heard it right
17:20Or Ayasakura
17:21I feel like she just said
17:22That she will be
17:23이죠
17:24Having a title match
17:25With lots of money
17:29But what Sayaka Kurata got to say
17:31And he said
17:41So, at the next Kohakuen Hall event, on October 20th, I'll be back.
17:52I'll send you home and we'll do the title match there!
18:17I believe in Lian and Kikyo Futasawa!
18:23The attacking strategy for the new Botai team is about to change!
18:28When the 20th of October dawns on Kurafulholhol
18:30It happened!
18:30That's truly wonderful.
18:31I also asked about my favorite stories.
18:37I once came across a type like this.
18:40For now, let's define the characteristics of the talk.
18:42We are the type of money we like.
18:47For us, the type of money we like
18:47And it's our money.
18:48And it's your money.
18:49In America, our money is
18:51How many times have you mentioned starting next year?
18:52This is our money.
18:53That's our money.
18:58Thank you for watching.
