00:01Almost 40 years after disappearing, Citroën's iconic deux-chevaux will return at the Paris
00:07Motor Show, but as a fully electric city car. It is therefore one of the most eagerly awaited
00:13stars of the show, which will take place from October 13th until the 18th. With its V-shaped
00:20hood, upright windscreen and distinctive round headlights, the new city car stays true to the
00:25design of its predecessor. Launched in 1948 and produced until 1990, the deux-chevaux left its
00:32mark on several generations of drivers.
00:37La deux-chevaux became an icon, not because of what it had, but because of what it made possible.
00:45And today, that spirit is back.
00:48Just like the original model, this new deux-chevaux is built around simplicity, versatility and an
00:54affordable price tag at around 15,000 euros. The vehicle weighs less than one ton, equipped with a
01:01small battery tailored to everyday journeys. The car is expected to go on sale at the end of 2028,
01:08coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the original model.
