00:01Manchester City defeated Liverpool by three goals to nil when the sides met for the first time after City were
00:09found guilty of 114 charges relating to financial breaches and cooperation with the Premier League.
00:17Manchester City have appealed the decision and insist they have irrefutable evidence to support their claim.
00:24Ahead of the game, fans of both teams voiced concerns.
00:28Many City fans feel they have been unfairly targeted, while Liverpool fans hold a different view.
00:35So what was your initial reaction when you found out the news?
00:38Well, the initial reaction was obviously disappointing because we're a top, top team, have been for years.
00:45I don't believe that City have done anything wrong.
00:47I think that it's a conspiracy by the red cartel to keep clubs like Manchester City out of sitting at
00:55the top table.
00:56And the sooner we go to the courts of arbitration or where it is we've got to go to, to
01:03get the whole thing overturned, the better.
01:05And I think we will.
01:05I think they have to be relegated quite a few tears down and be deducted points for five, ten periods,
01:15years period.
01:16And they can't buy new players for five years or something like that.
01:21It has to be real, real hard punishment.
01:24Well, to be honest, I think everyone expected them to be found guilty, didn't they?
01:28I think they've been doing it in plain sight for years.
01:31To me, they're the biggest cheat in sports history.
01:34To be honest, for me, it felt like it shows how good that Liverpool team and Jurgen Klopp actually was
01:40to push them to the limits we did.
