Scientists in Berlin have developed a mobile laboratory to check on the health of relief workers. The equipment helps detect dangerous levels of stress in staff dealing with fires,floods and other high-pressure situations. Sensors monitor body functions and sound the alarm when workers are close to the limits of their capabilities.
