This product is designed for experienced users in difficult-access professions who in the past have been using the STOP. The main functions of this product are to comfortably control the descent, to position yourself at the work station without the need for a tie-off, and for short ascents. The purpose of the device is to be a descender with a simple, clean construction that fulfills the basic needs of an experienced difficult-access professional.
The RIG is easy to install on the rope without having to disconnect it from the harness, thanks to a swinging side plate and safety gate, which makes it harder to drop.
