00:30He meets the game, the WWE title, and no mercy, he was assaulted by Vladimir Klausoff here last week, and
00:38now he takes on the Red Hawk, the Brian Kendrick, here on Friday Night Smackdown.
00:49And speaking ladies and gentlemen of Friday Night Smackdown, that was brought to you by Star Wars, the first and
00:55least available now.
00:58And by the auto parts experts at AutoZone. Get in the zone, AutoZone. And by Horizon Wireless.
01:12Talk about getting in the zone, Jeff Hardy right there, no more contender. That man was in the zone last
01:17week in a phenomenal Fatal 4-Way match. What a victory by Jeff Hardy.
01:22When Jeff Hardy had to win last week, he won. The question is, can Hardy stay focused and win at
01:30no mercy?
01:31Boy, there's a lot of folks here tonight that think that Jeff Hardy's time has come.
01:40I've been in the WWE off and on now for about 10 years.
01:48And I can't lie, the journey hasn't always been a smooth one.
01:53Over that time, I've become known as a risk taker. You know, reckless, crazy, extreme.
02:02And that's why I am your charismatic enigma!
02:11And normally when people have negative thoughts about me, I'm not bothered by that because I am confident and comfortable
02:18in my own skin and I hope you respect that.
02:25But last week, Triple H said something to me that made me think. He said, every time I've got close
02:31to that brass ring, I always miss it.
02:36In other words, he was saying, I've never had the big one.
02:44At first, I was angry. But then I realized what Triple H was trying to do. He was trying to
02:50motivate me. He was trying to change me. He was trying to make me better.
03:01Congratulations, game. You have motivated me. You have fired me up. You have made me better.
03:10And at no mercy, I'm not going to be reaching for the brass ring.
03:15I'm going to be reaching for your WWE Championship.
03:25Now, someone else I'd like to speak of, Vladimir Kozlov.
03:35You speak of how you're always craving competition.
03:39And yet, last week, after I won the Fatal 4-Way, you struck me from behind instead of facing me
03:45like a man.
03:48Well, Vladimir, if it's so much competition you're craving...
04:04Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.
04:07I think you're forgetting about somebody.
04:11And I know regardless of what Vladimir might have done to you last week, Jeff,
04:16You got bigger fish to fry, buddy.
04:20You got to worry about the Brian Kendrick right now.
04:27Oh, you mean the Brian Kendrick?
04:30I beat the Fatal 4-Way to become the number one contender?
04:39That was last week, Jeff.
04:42And last week was some sort of chaotic free for all.
04:46It wasn't the proper platform for me to show off my talents and abilities, Jeff.
04:51But tonight, it's one-on-one.
04:55Unless, of course, you've got something else to do.
04:58Like maybe one of those extracurricular activities Triple H has been talking about.
05:14I think we have heard enough from Brian Kendrick.
05:18This should be an amazing matchup.
05:20Certainly, Jeff Hardy has got ample reason to be motivated.
05:25But let's look at the other side of the coin.
05:27Well, there's illustration of that.
05:29So does the Brian Kendrick.
05:31Yeah, absolutely.
05:32The Brian Kendrick has got to be a little upset, I would say the least,
05:37that he's not the number one contender.
05:39And Jeff Hardy is fired up.
05:41I'll tell you, Jeff, I know Jeff a long time.
05:43I don't remember the last time I've seen him this amped up.
05:46The gun after Triple H's title.
05:49Jeff Hardy, only a teenager, and he first debuted here in the WWE.
05:54And Brian Kendrick.
05:56Whoa, whoa!
05:58You cannot sell short the Brian Kendrick, JR.
06:01Whoa!
06:02No doubt about Kendrick.
06:04Sudden, quick, and Jeff Hardy is in trouble.
06:08And let's not forget, Big Zeke is still standing by.
06:16We're back on Friday Night SmackDown, what a matchup.
06:19The Brian Kendrick has the number one contender for the WWE title, Jeff Hardy,
06:23grounded.
06:26One fall match, referee Charles Robinson.
06:29Thank you for being with us ladies and gentlemen, here on Friday Night SmackDown.
06:32And Jeff Hardy got a lot off his chest before this match started.
06:36But then it seemed like that Kendrick's remarks have really motivated Jeff Hardy
06:42until Kendrick took advantage.
06:44Yeah, Kendrick is in control right now, doing the right thing with Jeff Hardy.
06:47Ground Jeff Hardy.
06:50Kendrick's got his pilot's license as well, but grounding Hardy certainly takes Hardy
06:55into another level of his offense.
06:58Well, with basically the energy that Jeff Hardy brings when he flies around the ring
07:04and his recklessness and being- That could do it, that could do it right there.
07:08And being an extreme competitor that Jeff Hardy is, I mean,
07:12the whole SmackDown locker room realizes you gotta ground Hardy to be victorious.
07:18An effective snapmare into the kip to the spine.
07:21No waste of motion by the current Kendrick.
07:28The focus on the face of the highly intelligent Brian Kendrick as his associate,
07:34Big Ezekiel Jackson, looks on.
07:37The high-flying Jeff Hardy looking to become the next WWE Champion has been grounded.
07:45And we have a clean break.
07:56Hardy trying to fight back up to that vertical face, and a kneel kick catches Kendrick in the sternum.
08:03Jay, I gotta ask you right now, right here and now, who do you predicts gonna be victorious at No
08:08Mercy?
08:08Will it be Triple H or will it be Jeff Hardy?
08:11It's hard to pick against a 12-time champion, but you gotta believe in your heart, ladies and gentlemen,
08:15that sooner or later, Jeff Hardy's dream is going to come true.
08:20And why wouldn't it?
08:21And why shouldn't it?
08:25Nice counter by the Kendrick.
08:29Jeff Hardy now zoned in for the-
08:32God almighty.
08:34Wow.
08:35Kendrick's face bouncing off the canvas.
08:38Here we go.
08:42Man, real tight near fall.
08:44Jeff Hardy just making sure it wasn't three, it wasn't.
08:47We heard Jeff Hardy say earlier he was comfortable in his skin, and right now I don't-
08:52Kendrick might be not too comfortable in his own skin hurting.
08:54Kendrick knows what Jeff Hardy was thinking, or at least can assume he was going up for a swan turn.
09:01And Kendrick now, after grounding Hardy, grabbing that ankle, got one more shot of offense in.
09:07That's what makes D.
09:08Brian Kendrick so impressive, JR.
09:11Tell you what, just Brian Kendrick came over to the Friday Night SmackDown.
09:14He has been an entirely different competitor.
09:17People look at him entirely differently.
09:19Yeah, we gotta give an assist to that man right there, Big Zeke, though.
09:22Big Zeke stomping to Jeff, right in his track.
09:25Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
09:25Look at this, a counter, a counter.
09:28Wow.
09:29That was great counter move.
09:30Wow.
09:31Jeff Hardy wins it.
09:33That was impressive.
09:37I've seen a lot of backslides by DJI, but not one point that grip.
09:41That was nice.
09:43Jeff Hardy kept his plane in the hangar, and went to the mask to beat the Brian Kendrick.
09:50And JR, you know, Triple H we're gonna see later on, tonight against MVP,
09:55was watching this one with a buzz, I knew it.
09:58Big an eye, right there, Kendrick glancing at Hardy.
10:01Watch Hardy here, and his eye on Zeke.
10:04And Kendrick thought he was gonna zone it for the win?
10:06Not so quick, look at this.
10:08That's impressive, man.
10:09Affiliate.
10:10Jeff Hardy just has another way of beating anyone, including the deputy.
10:16I want another minute.
10:17All right.
10:18Paus'o.
10:20All of this drafted.
10:25All left.
10:27All left.
10:41All left.
10:43All right.
10:44All right.
10:47I want another match, their cross heat by the République.
10:52El partido celebrado y de ahí, ¡BOOM!
10:56¡BOOM!
10:56¡Adiós novia!
10:58¡Eso es muy disgusto!
11:02¡Eso es muy disgusto!
11:04¡Eso es muy disgusto!
