00:00This is insane. Every day, this factory in South Korea uses up to 4,000 chickens to create a truly
00:06special dish. And the production process behind it is sure to surprise many people. The process
00:12begins with workers placing thousands of pre-cleaned chickens into large water tanks for washing.
00:18Next, each chicken is carefully inspected, thoroughly cleaned and arranged in industrial
00:23mesh baskets. Meanwhile, thousands of peeled garlic cloves are placed into a specialized
00:28heat treatment system to produce black garlic, an ingredient that gives the dish its distinctive
00:33flavor. Next, the factory prepares the broth by combining various vegetables, pureed onions
00:39and other seasonings. Black garlic is also added to give the dish a rich, deep and unique flavor.
00:45Once the broth is ready, large mesh baskets containing hundreds of chickens are lowered
00:50into massive industrial cooking pots using an overhead crane system. Here, the chickens are
00:56cooked in the flavorful broth until the meat becomes tender and absorbs the rich flavors.
01:01When cooking is complete, the baskets are lifted out of the pots and the chickens are transferred
01:06onto stainless steel tables to cool. At the same time, mung beans are thoroughly washed to
01:11remove impurities, then cooked in large industrial pots until soft. Another ingredient, glutinous rice,
01:18is cooked into a thick smooth porridge before being transferred into a hopper for packaging. During
01:25the packaging process, workers first scoop a portion of cooked mung beans into each specialized food
01:30pouch, followed by one whole cooked chicken. Next, automated machines dispense precise amounts of
01:37glutinous rice porridge and broth into each pouch. Finally, the pouches are heat sealed, passed through a
01:43metal detector for safety inspection and transferred to cold storage before being distributed to the market.
01:49And this is how black garlic chicken soup is produced on a massive scale, with up to 4,000 servings
01:56made every
01:57single day. Would you like to try it?
