00:02Your Majesty, I never imagined that those creatures would be so, so powerful and savage.
00:10Had you not pressed so hard for that wretch, we would not be sitting here in ruin and disgrace.
00:16Your Majesty, one of those creatures possesses the power to seize dominion over another's mind.
00:23Even sainted knights were taken.
00:26My brother Julian, he... he must have been taken over as well.
00:33That much is true.
00:35Those two creatures stand at a level beyond all reckoning.
00:38To bend even sainted knights to their will...
00:41I have one question only.
00:45That creature said Adrian Sterling held the line for ten years.
00:49You told me he was bleeding the realm dry.
00:53One of you is lying.
00:55Which?
00:57Your Majesty, whatever a fiend says upon the field of battle is itself a weapon.
01:03What they want is not victory.
01:04It is to make us doubt ourselves.
01:08So when they praised Adrian Sterling, they were doing us a favor?
01:12They did not praise him.
01:14They wielded his name as a blade.
01:17Adrian Sterling had just been stripped of his post.
01:20The people were already uneasy.
01:23Invoke that name at that moment.
01:25And what follows?
01:34Your Majesty,
01:35Lady Sterling Estate speaks truth.
01:38They do not seek to vindicate Adrian Sterling.
01:41They seek to use him to set us against one another.
01:44They wish to sow confusion and shake the faith of our hosts.
01:48Indeed.
01:49Indeed.
01:49Otherwise, why not invoke High Commander Hawthorne?
01:51He too has held the frontier.
01:55Helena, what have we made of the realm you left behind?
02:00Silence, all of you!
02:03Your Majesty, above all else, we must steady the hearts of the people.
02:08How?
02:09Proclaim it to the realm.
02:12Adrian Sterling betrayed the seal.
02:15He gave our hosts movements to the enemy.
02:18He led them into the trap.
02:20This was not Varania's weakness.
02:23This was a knife in the back.
02:25So be it.
02:27Let every corner of the realm hear it.
02:29Your Majesty is most wise.
02:32Leave me.
02:32As you command, Your Majesty.
02:38Mother,
02:39if it were you,
02:41who would you believe?
