00:17His mortal remains were brought from Goa to his farmhouse in Donjo village nestled at
00:22the foothills of Senhagad Fort in Pune late Thursday evening, where his last rites were
00:27performed by his family members.
00:30The atmosphere was filled with grief and sorrow as family members, close friends and loved
00:35ones gathered to bid him a final farewell.
00:38Several industry professionals, including film director and screenwriter Anis Basmi, film
00:43producer Feroz Nadia Dvala, actor Jackie Shroff, along with the chief minister of Maharashtra
00:49Devendra Fadnavis, were present at the location and paid their last respect to the actor's
00:54mortal remains in Pune.
00:56On behalf of the state government, the late actor was honoured with full state honours.
01:06For the unwashed, the late actor was brought to the hospital in the morning of 8th October.
01:11And as per the doctors, despite relentless efforts where paramedics and the medical team performed
01:16CPR for nearly 45 minutes to an hour, the veteran actor remained unresponsive.
01:23He was finally declared dead at 5.20 a.m., leaving the entire film industry and his fans
01:29in deep shock and moaning.

01:55and was also honoured with the prestigious Padma Shree for his outstanding contribution
