00:23It definitely shifted the way, it fundamentally shifted the way in which
00:29we think of British art, so that's still reverberating today.
00:33The way in which we collect at Tate was changed by that decade.
00:39The way in which we think about fashion dramatically changed and that still continues.
00:44Couture, you know, high fashion was completely changed by the way in which these young designers
00:49were turning it on its head.
01:06So something about that combination of quite a gritty political reality socially and economically
01:14and the opportunity for students to still experiment but see that coming to an end I think created
01:22this really energetic moment across art and fashion, club culture, magazine culture, all
01:28sorts of different forms.
01:29I think that there were a few important ways of realizing that the social justice system
01:36could live in a particular way to the way this world was actually changed.
