The interior of the new RS 5 impresses with the kind of sportiness only an RS model from Audi Sport can guarantee. The foundation: Up front, the "RS Sport seats plus" with honeycomb stitching offer not only excellent lateral support but also ample comfort on long journeys, thanks to electric adjustment options and a standard massage function.
Customers can choose from five different interior configurations, with a focus on distinct material and color schemes. Yet all interiors share one thing in common: maximum RS distinction—evident in details such as fully colored seatbelts and RS logos on all floor mats, color-coordinated with the specific interior theme. To match this color scheme, the headliner is always finished in black.
In the standard leather-free configuration, the center section of the RS Sport seat plus features "Kaskade" fabric, made from materials including selvedge and recycled polyester. Audi uses Dinamica—a material that looks and feels like suede—on the inner sections of the seat bolsters. It contains up to 47 percent recycled polyester, derived from sources such as textile scraps. Dinamica is also used in other areas of the interior, including the knee pads, soft-wrap elements, dashboard, door inserts, door armrests, and center armrest.
