Haze grips Kuala Lumpur as Indonesia wildfires persist

Haze gripped Kuala Lumpur, obscuring its skyline on Wednesday (Oct 7), as Indonesia battled its most intense wildfires in 11 years.

Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup warned at a briefing on Monday (Oct 5) that "the worst is yet to come", with hot and dry conditions set to persist into the new year.
