00:00One against Australia champions with freedom under
00:04Jonathan Trott, Samit Patel still playing competitive cricket.
00:08Liam Plunkett with the match referee and the on-field empires as well as the third empire.
00:18The two Patan brothers had a good excellent last year.
00:23Using new fast bowlers.
00:25He's got a very good record of...
00:30Hint of movement in the evening for Dhaval Kulkarni and he would have grown in confidence Vakar Bhai after his...
00:39Outside edge, the angle working in favour of Dhaval Kulkarni.
00:45Seize the back of David Milan.
00:49A wild slap in the previous match.
00:52He's picked up another one. He's on the roll. That's a beautiful delivery.
00:56And David Milan gone. A big wicket here for India. First up.
01:02New man in, Samit Patel. Have a look at that for...
01:05With great amount of ease.
01:08Whipped through the on-side.
01:11Great bit of timing and...
01:13Whipped through the on-side off sump.
01:14Again.
01:15Again.
01:15A poor bowling.
01:17Not good.
01:19At the crease.
01:21This is a beautiful shot.
01:24It was just a little too full.
01:27And Ravi Bupara was looking for that...
01:32A little bit of flight and dealt nicely.
01:35That's a beautiful shot.
01:38Nicely in the slot and hit it nice and straight.
01:45Slough sweep.
01:46Slough sweep.
01:47Gets the boundary.
01:50Leaves there.
01:52In the fifth door of the part...
01:53Bowlers, you can bat a bit.
01:55Down the track, Bupara checks his shot beautifully over cover.
02:00And he'll just get to the boundary.
02:04Yes, exactly how...
02:06Down again.
02:08Drilled.
02:09Flat.
02:10Over the leg side.
02:13Just a little bit of a flick.
02:16Always been a powerful player through that leg side.
02:19Ravi Bupara.
02:20Not big boundaries here.
02:24Lofted.
02:25Over.
02:26Long off.
02:28Lovely bit of timing.
02:29He backed him...
02:31I think he's trying to get this a little bit...
02:34Square it.
02:35Moreover, extra cover.
02:38Eventually, he just thinks, let's just...
02:40Help it on its way over long off.
02:42It's a good shot.
02:43UV was fantastic yesterday.
02:4571 runs.
02:47And could have been more.
02:49So...
02:49Yeah, absolutely amazing yesterday.
02:51And the bowlers did so well as well to get them out.
02:53Australia's a strong team.
02:54You're in this over.
02:56Backing away is Ravi Bupara.
02:59And he smashed this through cover for a boundary.
03:03That is a good over for the England champions.
03:06It goes for 14.
03:08Three-six has been hit.
03:10This one in the air.
03:11Over the top.
03:13Good start from Samit Patel.
03:16Who's in the slot in his arc.
03:19And full follow through from Samit Patel.
03:22Up and away from the fielder at long on.
03:25A BNW-6 curated to perfection.
03:28Must need it for the England champions.
03:32That's nicely picked up.
03:34Nice pick-up shot.
03:36And has gone all the way for a BNW-6.
03:40Yeah, that's nicely played.
03:42Tucked away for one.
03:44100 runs partnership.
03:45And also 50 for Ravi Bupara.
03:50Played really well.
03:5250 of 30 deliveries.
03:56With three fours and three sixes.
04:01Hikes it away.
04:04On the streets of Sharjah.
04:07Another maximum.
04:09Roll.
04:11Way too short.
04:13From Bini.
04:16Given enough time.
04:18To Ravi Bupara to put it away.
04:24In the block hole.
04:26But well dug out by Samit Patel.
04:28Who's done really, really well.
04:29To reach his half century.
04:3250 of just 41 delivery.
04:33Early.
04:35That's not good balling.
04:36That's poor.
04:38That's easy.
04:39For Ravi Bupara to put it away.
04:44Venterial.
04:46Beckford Square on the offside.
04:48And it's a six.
04:49A BNW-6.
04:50Outside the off stump.
04:51And look at the way he opens the blade.
04:54Timed it nicely.
04:55Used the pace.
04:57And that went far.
05:01And he gets the breakthrough.
05:03The bowling change works.
05:06Dhawala Kulkarni strikes.
05:09A little bit more zip in that delivery.
05:12And I think Samit Patel was just trying to be a little.
05:16Very close to cut.
05:18He was just looking to move away and play to.
05:21When an inning comes to an end.
05:23Samit Patel.
05:24Phil Mustard has just.
05:28Bang.
05:29Will it go all the way?
05:31It will.
05:33Another BNW-6 curated to perfection for Ravi Bupara.
05:37You just see that is a slower out of the back hand.
05:41Out of the back of his hand.
05:44Picked up.
05:45It's not a big boundary towards that leg side.
05:506-6 is now in this Bupara innings.
05:54His option is to heave the ball high.
05:58And just about handsome enough for a BNW-6 curated to perfection.
06:03Just too short from Budgie.
06:06Yeah a little bit too short.
06:07Phil Mustard comes down at him.
06:09So he just holds it back a little bit.
06:13Just gets enough of it.
06:15We try and go again here.
06:18That sounded sweet.
06:20That's a lot better.
06:22That is huge.
06:23Onto the roof.
06:24And into the streets of Sharjah.
06:27And doesn't Phil Mustard climb into this.
06:32Out of the park.
06:33Straight down the ground.
06:35Even though he missed three balls on the trot last over.
06:39He's making.
06:41Down early.
06:42And he brings him over to the leg side again.
06:47Very full.
06:49Drilled through cover.
06:51Four runs all along the ground.
06:53Bupara.
06:54Bowled him.
06:56You miss, I hit.
06:58Says Abominu.
06:59Mithun.
07:00Bupara can't believe it.
07:03But he's going to have to go back.
07:05That's an important blow for India.
07:07A straight slight angle.
07:09Pushes it in.
07:10Trying to go that leg side route again from Bupara.
07:13But an excellent that he's missed that.
07:15But he's putting them in a decent position.
07:17Five.
07:20That sounded great again off the bat of Phil Mustard.
07:25When he gets hold of it.
07:26For a BMW 6 curated two perfect.
07:29Ball.
07:31Gets in a decent position.
07:37Just two short.
07:39Right in his arc.
07:41Slower ball.
07:42He was waiting for it.
07:47Excellent bowling.
07:48Is there a nick on that?
07:50Namanouja thinks.
07:52Was it a bump ball?
07:53That's the other question.
07:55Now the umpires are going to confer here.
07:58I have to go through the processes.
08:02It's okay.
08:03Does it go underneath his bat?
08:04Does he nick it?
08:05Is it the bat hitting the ground?
08:09Difficult one to give.
08:10If.
08:15By that angle.
08:17It looks like it might not be a bump ball.
08:19Bounce before the bat.
08:21It's gone past the ball.
08:22So.
08:24If you're going by that angle.
08:26I'd have to say.
08:27You'd say it was out.
08:28If they think the ball was nicked.
08:32To Phil Mustard.
08:34Out.
08:34You are gone my friend.
08:37There was a sound there.
08:39Or bat on the ground.
08:41Anyway.
08:41Toby.
08:42Roland.
08:43Jones.
08:44Roland.
08:44Jones.
08:46Leading edge.
08:47Over the top.
08:48They're going to finish with a boundary.
08:50A fortuitous one.
08:51But they will take it.
08:53The England champions.
08:55They've put a very reasonable score on the board.
08:59192.
09:00For four.
09:02And with a couple of key batters missing.
09:04Should be arriving tonight.
09:05And hopefully available for the game tomorrow.
09:08Against Bangladesh.
09:09I think they would have taken that.
09:11At the start of the day.
09:13Yeah.
09:13Absolutely.
09:14First game.
09:15Getting used to conditions.
09:17Both of the surface.
09:19But also the heat as well.
09:20Not easy.
09:21Fielding out there at times.
09:23Difficult work.
09:25Good innings from Bopara.
09:26Then Bopara and Samet Patel got together with a magnificent 133 partnership.
09:31Samet with 57.
09:33Bopara.
09:3483.
09:35And Phil Mustard with a very useful cameo at the end.
09:37Hello and welcome back from the historic arena.
09:40This is the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
09:43It is the World Championship of Legends Season 3.
09:47But they have a tough task ahead.
09:49A challenging time.
09:51Right side bottom.
09:52The left-hand seamer will be.
09:54Bring the ball back into the right hand.
09:55The first one kept a touch low.
09:58But right on money.
10:04Robin Uthapa.
10:05Cover drives it.
10:07Ariel Root take it.
10:09Couple of bounces over the wedges.
10:11First boundary.
10:12India champs.
10:15Pitches it up.
10:17That is beautifully hit.
10:19For a BNW 6.
10:21Curated to perfection.
10:23By Robin Uthapa.
10:25Look to hit over the top of cover.
10:28And this time.
10:29Made sure they hit the middle of the bat.
10:31The ball sailed away.
10:35Then comes out.
10:36The flick.
10:37Will be four.
10:39Ten runs of two deliveries.
10:45Then he brings out the pole.
10:48Has it gone the distance?
10:50Yes it is.
10:51A handsome BNW.
10:52This is in a four.
10:53Yeah.
10:54Easy flicking once again.
10:55There's only one fielder.
10:57Out there.
11:01Straight drive.
11:03Straight four.
11:05Uthapa fights back.
11:10From Uthapa.
11:12Wings deployed.
11:14And goes for a maximum.
11:17Make it a 26.
11:18Put some pressure.
11:20Oh well balled.
11:21Well balled.
11:22Out.
11:22Finger goes up.
11:23He can is the answer.
11:25Side bottom strikes.
11:26India lose their first.
11:28The tall left arm.
11:29Pulling the length back a bit.
11:30Man.
11:32Ball just bouncing.
11:33A little bit more than expectation.
11:36Nicely.
11:37Brief stand.
11:39Previous match yesterday.
11:40Along with number.
11:44Good delivery.
11:45Good delivery.
11:46Every finger raised.
11:48That is the big wicket.
11:50Uthapa can't.
11:51Behind the line.
11:52But watch that length.
11:54Just perfect length.
11:56The umpire thought that this ball is gonna go on.
11:59Hit middle.
12:00Middle leg.
12:00Maybe.
12:01But things it was high.
12:01Well played.
12:03Well played.
12:0331.
12:0334 for two.
12:06Stuart Binney.
12:07Is.
12:10Thick inside edge.
12:12Will run down for four.
12:18Loud appeal.
12:19Loud appeal.
12:20Finger goes up.
12:21Another one buys the rust.
12:24Stobie now who strikes.
12:26Roland Jones.
12:27It is.
12:28Quickly raise his finger.
12:30Mmm.
12:31You can see leg stump when the ball hit his pad.
12:35The stump.
12:36Stuart Binney.
12:37Lost wickets.
12:39Lost quick wickets.
12:39And that brings in Yusuf Bhutan.
12:42Go on, Dominic.
12:43Help your team.
12:45What a shot that is.
12:48Kings for Bhutan.
12:50Oh.
12:51And a little nick.
12:53He may have been expensive.
12:55Roland Jones.
12:56But he has two important wickets.
12:59And India lose their fourth.
13:04Just adjusting the length a bit.
13:06Extra bit of bounce there.
13:08Top edge and.
13:09Phil mustard.
13:10Four.
13:1047 for four.
13:14Power play.
13:17In the air.
13:18Gets it past Usman Asal.
13:20And this will run away for a boundary.
13:22So.
13:23A boundary to finish off the power play.
13:25But still India.
13:26In a bit of trouble.
13:2851 for four.
13:31Oh.
13:32Side edge.
13:32And this will run away for a boundary.
13:34Just a little bit of width for the first time.
13:36From side bottom.
13:3711.
13:37One.
13:42Slower ball and smashed.
13:45That's a BMW six crated to perfect.
13:51The six.
13:53Gets him into the groove.
13:55Into the rhythm.
13:56In the zone.
13:57To just make a run Chase.
14:00I'm sure they love the feeling.
14:02And we will be giving more country addition to the tournament.
14:05Excellent. Well, thank you very much. All the best for the rest of the league. Thank you. Let's head back
14:09upstairs.
14:10Just capitalise the moment. Seize the moment.
14:15Well, got his boundary and then hit it straight down, long gone's throat.
14:19Liam Plunkett has always been a good fielder in that.
14:23Maybe over something, Patel, have a look at that. Just slices it.
14:28The ball literally skids off the face of the 76-5, the India champion.
14:32Come out with a helm.
14:35Picked up. Fantastic shot. Deep, over, long on.
14:40The bag as well, T20-wise.
14:42Nicked, or did he slightly open the face? We'll give him that.
14:46Gorgeous shot, in fact.
14:51Helped around the corner, just swivelled and hit the gap.
14:56The gap for four.
14:58This is not staying in. This is going out of this park.
15:01This will help.
15:02Six. Curated to perfection.
15:05That's how you play the slog sweep.
15:07He went after that. Full throttle.
15:12Miss Q. This is going to be out. It is.
15:16Ravi Papara takes the catch.
15:18That's a big, crucial wicket for the England champions.
15:23Rounds also.
15:24Not easy to hit those deliveries straight over mid-off.
15:28It was a cross-seam delivery in the field.
15:31A decent inning.
15:32Come out.
15:33I'm gonna put a good shot.
15:34One, two.
15:35I'm going to put a good shot in there.
15:35One, two.
15:40Two.
15:47One, two.
15:48One, two.
15:48One, two.
15:51Two.
15:51One, two.
15:51One, four.
15:54four hits it hits it well goes all the way for a bnw six curated to perfection
16:04good time in this from rishi dear one it said over that deep mid wicket
16:11big boundaries here we know that a charger but still a good shot
16:16it off too that sounded good doesn't have the distance deep mid wicket will take the catch
16:26roland jones it is and plunkett gets his second this was the important wicket of rishi down
16:34yes he's good on the ball before into the surface he gets underneath it slices across it
16:42toby roland jones good position doan gone for it of him when you met on one of the
16:52oh direct hit and that should be gone
16:59well he just thinks it's a simple single here he knows that a direct hit is gone
17:04hence why he didn't dive in good from bopara just get it finished professional way to do it
17:10still keen to just get it to done the tune uh run up captain walks in roland jones
17:19big hike and four from pew sawler
17:28left it and will get a maximum of bmw six curated to perfection
17:3626 is we've seen in this game so far india needs something though they need a no ball they need
17:43a why
17:46big edge will run down for four reduce the deficit and the margin of death defeat furthermore but the
17:56england champions are often running in this bnw developments wcl season three they win this match
18:05by 21 runs has been a complete team effort from the england champions well led by ravi bopara but it's
18:14this pair who set the tone when they came into bat ravi bopara and samit patel
18:22a hundred and thirty three they put together and made sure that they got a mammoth total of a 192
18:29and in the end it was enough courtesy of their seamers who bowl target was a hundred and ninety
18:36three and robin uthappa who came into the side today took the team off to a flyer 31 of 12
18:43then ambadi raidu was looking good as well 47 of 31 but then the middle order didn't really click
18:49and runs came too little too late from rishi dhawan for his 29 and purees 192 on the board 193
18:58was the
18:59target uthappa and raidu they were looking good but not enough as the england champion seamers took
19:05six of the wickets and england champions win five
19:09you
