Psalm 32:8 gives us one of the most beautiful promises of direction in the Bible: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye." Notice that God does not promise to hand you the entire map with all the answers to your future right away; He promises to show you the path step by step. Furthermore, He assures that He will fix His eyes upon you, just like a loving father who never takes his eyes off his child while they are learning to walk. Abraham's servant moved forward blindly and without a map, yet the Almighty's gaze guided every single one of his steps with perfect precision.
