00:00Hello, Sproutlets. Tonight we're talking about parents, and the Spanish word for parents is...
00:06Padres.
00:07Oh, great, Star, you remembered.
00:09Parents take good care of their Sproutlets, making sure they get lots of love and have all the things they
00:15need, like food and a home.
00:18So, if parents take care of Sproutlets, who takes care of parents?
00:23Oh, that's a good question, Star.
00:25Since parents are grown-up Sprouts, they pretty much take care of themselves and each other, but I'm sure they
00:31love all the special things their Sproutlets do for them, too.
00:35Like, when they help around the house? I'm very good at setting the table.
00:40That's exactly right. Listening and putting your toys away helps, too.
00:44Or how about picking them flowers, or drawing them a special picture? I think that would make lots of parents
00:51happy.
00:51Oh, and I bet some of our Sproutlet friends have already made special pictures for their parents.
00:57Oh, oh, and some could be in our goodnight gallery.
01:00Well, there's only one way to find out. Lucy!
01:06This picture in the gallery comes from Caitlin, who's five from Massachusetts.
01:11That must be Caitlin's mommy.
01:13M-O-M-M-Y. That spells mommy.
01:17Plus, they look a lot alike.
01:20That's right, Star. Beautiful drawing, Caitlin.
01:23Our next drawing is from Sierra, who's four from Issaquah, Washington.
01:27Look how high they are jumping, Nina.
01:29They sure do look like they're having a lot of fun together.
01:34Thanks for the great drawing, Sierra.
01:36Our last piece of artwork comes from Zoe, who's five from Paragona, Utah.
01:40She sent us this drawing of her with her parents.
01:43I see Zoe right there in the middle.
01:46And Zoe wrote an M for mom and a D for dad on her parents' shirts.
01:52Hey, nice job, Zoe.
01:53We would love to see your artwork, too.
01:56For more information about how to send in your work to Star, Hush, Lucy, and me,
02:00go online with a grown-up Sprout.
