As the Indian Air Force marks ninety-four years of its existence, India Today's Shivani Sharma reports from the static display at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad. The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile features as the central attraction, utilized across the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, and Indian Navy. Beyond domestic deployment, the Philippines has acquired the system and is discussing additional customized units, while nations like Indonesia and the UAE have shown interest. The display also highlights enhanced range development alongside assets such as the Jaguar, Su-30, Rafale, Tejas, and ALH helicopters.

00:00As the Indian Air Force is celebrating 94 years of its existence, we are right now witnessing
00:06the static display at Hinden Air Base. And this is the hero, the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile
00:13that happens to be India's own pride. And most recently, it has created havoc inside Pakistan.
00:21So this is the BrahMos, which is not only being utilized by Indian Air Force, but Indian Army,
00:27Indian Navy and all the three services are adding firepower with the BrahMos supersonic missile
00:35systems. And Philippines happens to be the first nation that has bought BrahMos from India and
00:41additional customized BrahMos missiles are also being discussed by Philippines with India and
00:49many other nations, including Indonesia, they want BrahMos and UAE has also shown interest in the
00:55BrahMos missile system. So this is here at display so that people can come and see these heroes,
01:02these weapon systems and missiles of the Indian defense systems, the defense forces, the Indian
01:07Air Force. And this is how the procurement and the development of the enhanced ranges of BrahMos
01:15are also taking place. So BrahMos happens to be the showstopper of the static display. We also see a
01:22number of other assets that have been placed here at Hinden, including the Jaguar, the Su-30, the Rafal,
01:30the Tejas, the helicopters, the ALH, but definitely the BrahMos is the star of the show. This is Shivani
