The standard Audi driving experience function enables a highly detailed analysis of one’s driving style—even on world-famous racetracks, if desired. The RS 5 records data on throttle and brake pedal inputs, oversteer and understeer, as well as lateral, longitudinal, and total acceleration. Lap and sector times can be precisely recorded, saved, and compared across multiple runs.
Even unfamiliar or private tracks pose no challenge: the RS 5 automatically generates new track profiles based on a recorded lap. Drivers can define custom sectors and compare their performance against previous laps—including split times and analysis of specific track points regarding lateral acceleration and other parameters. For a complete experience, drivers can also document their drive on video: an optional dashcam, discreetly integrated into the rearview mirror, visually captures highlights and driving achievements.
