00:00First of all, when Bill Lawrence came to my trailer and explained the bit to me,
00:05he was like, so the question is, do you know this song?
00:08It's called The Confrontation.
00:10And I was like, from Les Miserables?
00:11Yeah, I know it.
00:12Who am I?
00:12Am I Valjean or am I Javert?
00:14Just name it.
00:14I can do it.
00:15I'm ready.
00:17So I was so thrilled.
00:19And Jason and I both were giddy.
00:22It was sort of a party trick that he already knew.
00:25Like he could do it.
00:27And of course I could do it.
00:28And we were so excited to do it.
00:31And Harrison knew nothing.
00:33He basically knew nothing about it.
00:35He didn't know.
00:36I don't think he'd ever seen Les Mis.
00:38He had no idea what we were going to do.
00:40So the first take was really, I think he was really shocked.
00:47But my memory, first of all, it was so much fun.
00:50First, anytime I get to ride around in a car with those two guys, it's a good day.
00:56Because we actually are trapped together.
01:00And we can really, Jason and I can really ask Harrison the questions that we're too nervous
01:05to ask on any other day about his life and career.
01:09And he is, you know, open and candid.
01:13And we're driving around Pasadena in an open-topped truck.
01:17And everyone's driving by us.
01:19We're like, oh my God, there's Harrison Ford.
01:22And it's very similar.
01:23But this is the thing I remember the most.
01:26Jason and I are acting our socks off.
01:30We are really playing Valjean and Javert.
01:34We're going to town and doing our absolute best to play the stakes of that scene from
01:41Les Mis.
01:43And Harrison's just in the back.
01:45He has no lines.
01:46He's just back there.
01:47And they sent us.
01:49We don't get the, or I don't get the dailies.
01:52I don't get, you know.
01:53But they sent us the dailies to this because it was such a special thing.
01:56And I was so excited.
01:58I was like, oh my God, I don't get to watch the dailies.
01:59And I watched the dailies.
02:01And even though Jason and I are going for the Tony Award, all you can look at is Harrison.
02:07He is in the back going through every human emotion.
02:12He is delighted.
02:13He is moved.
02:15He is scared because we're singing and driving.
02:18He is like, he's like sad at one point.
02:24There's something like he's got remorse.
02:26And that was, you know, like I've learned so much from him about acting for the camera
02:32because he's such a master at it.
02:34But that's when I, that's sort of like when you realize, oh, this is, this is the quality
02:39one has when they become a movie star, you know, like, like a true movie star.
02:46He can give every single human emotion on his face with no words in the backseat.
02:57He can give every single person to his face with no words in the backseat.
02:57Just to make sure he's got a doc and he's got a doc and he's got 찍 in.
02:58So that's of me.
02:58And I don't know that with the cutting, like there's some kilometers, great.
