02:20Hashtag team show
02:29I wonder if show is aware that you are a part of team show here tonight?
02:35Of course he is. How would he not know, Kevin?
02:38Well, you're thousands of miles away, there's a language barrier, and he probably doesn't pay much attention to you.
02:44I don't even think he knows who I am, Kevin.
02:46That's a fair point.
02:47Robbie Eagles knows who you are. Again, you chucked him in the chest last year.
02:53It was well deserved. 13 years I've known this man. It's very annoying.
02:59But you can't deny his physical abilities. He is a great wrestler.
03:03I'm going to put it up there, and I will say this with all honesty. He is one of the
03:07best wrestlers Australia's ever produced, and he's on the world stage right now improving it.
03:11As much as it pains me to say, but it doesn't change the fact I hate him.
03:17Colin Elbow tie up as they begin here. Show with the duck under, the go behind.
03:23Robbie trying to break the grip of the waist lock, and the wrist lock applied now by Eagles.
03:31Eagles ran into some difficulty in his last match, Gino. Side headlock takeover by Show.
03:37Probably not the tournament start that Robbie Eagles would have hoped for, but now here's his opportunity to maybe try
03:43and pick up some wins on the way.
03:45Got the victory first matchup against Doki, and then got caught by Master Watto. Driven down hard.
03:53Remember back, the neck of Eagles took a great deal of punishment in that defeat to Master Watto.
04:01Oh yeah, I printed out that screen cap. I took a photo of it, and it's hanging up in my
04:05room.
04:05Of course it is.
04:09Now just Show and Robbie feeling each other out here, trying to see which is the better of the two.
04:16Both very evenly matched. Show's probably got a lot more strength, but Robbie definitely makes up for it in his
04:22speed.
04:25And then the knuckle lock, Show exerting that force and the strength.
04:32Robbie trying to turn things around, but Show will keep him right there.
04:37Referee Red Shoes Uno, our official.
04:45And Robbie able to turn things around with that speed.
04:50Oh, Show there. The strength.
04:54Underneath the clothesline. Robbie ducks the elbow from Show. Sunset flip, sunset flip.
05:01Too early yet. Uh-oh. Cross arm breaker.
05:04Yeah, Robbie's going to get to that bottom right, but there you go.
05:06There's a perfect showing of the speed of Robbie, but also the strength of Show.
05:10He was able to stop Robbie's usual signature moves there.
05:16Now we'll look to pump handle the arm, hyperextending the elbow, but Robbie shoves him away.
05:22Wheelbarrow all the strength, but wait a minute, the roll through.
05:25And an early attempt of the Ron Miller special and he's got it locked in.
05:31Robbie's really perfected being able to lock that in from anywhere.
05:36Just setting the table for perhaps what can be later.
05:40And Robbie will focus on that leg. Chopped to the chest though. Off the ropes.
05:44And buries a knee in the midsection. Eagles down hard. Oh!
05:48Wipe that smile off your face, Gino.
05:51A square kick in the back for Robbie's troubles.
05:59Here's a cover. And a one count on the lateral press.
06:06Show will look to submit. Eagles probably with an arm submission. Eagles with the Ron Miller special focusing on the
06:14legs.
06:15But several directions for Show to go. The shock arrow, nobody has an answer for that.
06:22Yeah, it's something that Show's got in his back pocket here.
06:25That shock arrow has been devastating throughout this tournament.
06:30Robbie tied up.
06:32Show's taking his time with it too.
06:35Backfield trip puts Eagles down.
06:38Show's game plan has to be power, strength, take his time, work Robbie down, focus on the arm.
06:46Cause he knows if Robbie's up and about then that speed's a major factor.
06:51And you notice how Show with all of his experience now that he's gotten over the last couple of years
06:57wrestles like a real vet.
06:59Takes his time nice and slow.
07:02He's been in so many more matches than Robbie within New Japan, maybe not across his career.
07:08As he wrenches down on that arm.
07:13And I think the experience is starting to show.
07:16Hyper extending the elbow and now use it as a base.
07:20Show looked to kick it out from under him.
07:21Eagles gets out of the way and now back at his feet.
07:28Oh, that elbow.
07:38And now a eagle slips away, kicks the wheel out from underneath him and now will clip Show in the
07:44back of the head.
07:45Firm elbow sends Show to the outside.
07:48That's what Show has to remember Robbie can be so super quick as he's about to fly here Kevin.
07:53Watch out.
07:54Oh, look at that.
07:55Eagles lands perfectly on his feet.
07:59All the way over the top into the front row.
08:09Eagles gonna need to get back on this side of the barricade.
08:16Gets the admonishment from the referee.
08:19Again, his own momentum carried him over that barricade.
08:23Wasn't very safe.
08:24I just want to point that out.
08:26Here's the cover.
08:27Here's the cover.
08:28And Show getting that shoulder up at one.
08:31Something tells me Show is in some pain with the way he kicked out.
08:36Show's definitely feeling it there.
08:38And again, Robbie's speed gave him that opportunity to come back very quickly and then Show all of a sudden
08:43he's in a bit of trouble.
08:49It's a close fist Kevin.
08:51It is.
08:54A fair point.
09:01Now trapping the arm and the legs.
09:05Robbie, Robbie, Robbie!
09:06I, I, I!
09:08Robbie, Robbie, Robbie!
09:10I, I, I!
09:11Robbie!
09:12Robbie!
09:14Robbie!
09:14Robbie, Robbie, Robbie!
09:19Drives you up a wall, doesn't it Gino?
09:21He's encouraging the spread of the COVID infection.
09:25Getting them to chant like that.
09:26How dare he?
09:27He knows they're not going to chant.
09:29He wanted them to clap along.
09:32I'm not clapping enough.
09:32Now shoots the half.
09:33Wait a second.
09:33Wait a second.
09:34No.
09:36No.
09:36You better not be clapping Kevin.
09:39I'm not.
09:39I'm sitting here announcing.
09:42I can't help it that I, I like Robbie Eagles.
09:45I don't have a 13 year grudge against him.
09:48You jealous of him for all of his success.
09:53You break my heart Kevin.
09:56Show's sending Robbie away but not far enough for Show's liking.
10:00Look at Robbie straight to that leg.
10:02You gotta give it to him.
10:03He's intelligent.
10:04He knows what the plan of succession is.
10:07And how that Ron Miller pays off.
10:09Everybody has God given skills and abilities.
10:11Look at him.
10:12Could Robbie do what you're doing on commentary?
10:15Probably pretty easily.
10:16Let's be honest.
10:17Well, I have to give him a shot.
10:19Springboard.
10:19Wait a minute.
10:20Looking for that knee.
10:21But Show with the power.
10:22Drives right through him with the spear.
10:25Good execution there by Show.
10:27Gives himself an opportunity.
10:28Made a lot of distance there between him and Robbie.
10:31I'd love to hear Robbie on commentary sometime.
10:34No, you wouldn't.
10:34I'd have to put, get that done.
10:38Put a shally in the corner.
10:40Well, yeah, there is that.
10:47Oh, man.
10:49Reversal though.
10:50Hang on.
10:55And now Show's gonna make him pay.
10:58Robbie trying to shake off those dead kicks to the leg.
11:05Gino putting more pins into the Robbie Eagles voodoo doll that he's got at his announce desk there.
11:10As Show gets set to wind and fire.
11:13But Robbie grabs a hole.
11:15Turbo backpack.
11:19Robbie lands on his feet.
11:27Boosted.
11:28Elevated over the top.
11:30Robbie catches him in the head.
11:31And now Eagles will fly.
11:34Drop kick to the leg.
11:36Striped back to that leg, Kevin.
11:40So now can Robbie Eagles continue forward?
11:44He's drop kicked that leg beautifully.
11:50And might be looking for that 4.50 onto the leg.
11:54The setup for the Ron Miller special.
12:05Oh, those chest kicks, Kevin.
12:07I've been on the receiving end of them and they...
12:10They take the life out of you.
12:13That one caught him.
12:14Right under the chin.
12:23Right now Eagles zeroing in.
12:26Show in the corner.
12:27Here he comes.
12:28Double knees.
12:30Creates distance.
12:31Closes in.
12:32Show.
12:33Sends him away.
12:34Eagles tries to sweep the legs.
12:35Show avoids it.
12:37And he sweeps Eagles legs.
12:39Now off the ropes.
12:40Whoa!
12:41Show with a bit of speed of his own there.
12:4610 gone.
12:4820 remain in the time limit.
12:50Show now looking to take advantage.
12:52PK no.
12:53Eagles out of the way.
12:55Leaps up and sweeps the legs of Show.
12:59Wait a minute.
13:00Look at that.
13:01Shooter on the floor.
13:05Robbie taking advantage of being on the outside there.
13:10Not something we see very usual from him.
13:12But he was able to score a little bit of a moral victory there.
13:16And now Show's in a bit of trouble as the momentum stopped.
13:20Show took the brunt of it.
13:22But Eagles landed hard on the deck as well.
13:25Six.
13:27Seven.
13:28Eight.
13:30Nine.
13:32Ten.
13:33If both men get counted out, it would be zero points for each.
13:37Three.
13:39Four.
13:41Fifteen.
13:42The count continues here.
13:44Bartman is still down.
13:45Seventeen.
13:48Eighteen.
13:49Robbie and Show now both getting close.
13:52And both diving in under the bottom rope.
14:00Breaking the count.
14:01The match continues.
14:02But a slight advantage to Robbie Eagles who landed hard on the high risk move out on the floor.
14:13Might have further strained the right, the left elbow.
14:17Come on, John.
14:19Come on, John.
14:22Ha!
14:23Ha!
14:23Ha!
14:24Ha!
14:24Ha!
14:24Ha-ha!
14:25Ha!
14:25Ha!
14:25Ha!
14:26Ha!
14:27Ha!
14:29Ha!
14:32Ha!
14:32Ha!
14:33Ha!
14:34Ha!
14:35Ha!
14:36Ha!
14:38Ha!
14:53Robby gets advantage there.
14:55Chau est un peu rocked.
14:57L'Eagles est en trainant.
15:02Chau says no.
15:06Again, Chau, refusing to go down.
15:14Now, mixing in the kicks.
15:17Oh, jeez, what a combo.
15:25Chau was focusing on the lariat there blocking it away,
15:28but Robby was able to come back with a flurry of kicks.
15:32Thrust kick, no.
15:34Chau hangs on.
15:38Reversal by Chau.
15:40Underneath the clothesline.
15:43Tries to take him over with the head scissors.
15:45Gino nothing doing.
15:47Look at the strength of Chau and Robby's trying,
15:50but Chau hangs on.
15:54Oh!
15:55Really elevates.
15:57Two!
15:59Oh, Chau!
16:04Last run.
16:05Powerbreaker!
16:08Chau able to roll through and deadlift.
16:11Robby into the powerbomb position.
16:13Yes, sir!
16:14Two!
16:15Eagles kicks out again.
16:17Chau freely favoring that knee now
16:19as all of Eagles' weight came down on both of his knees.
16:30deadlift German, deadlift German, hangs on.
16:34He's still got that grip in.
16:36Robby's in a lot of trouble now.
16:41He goes to the ropes.
16:47Oh!
16:49Jeez!
16:50Back to the arm.
16:54Blocks the Larry with his knees.
16:58Turbo backpack!
16:59Turbo backpack!
17:00Yes, sir!
17:01He hits it.
17:04Cover!
17:04Two!
17:05Eagles out!
17:06Less than half a count away.
17:09Robbie tried with that turbo backpack
17:12after taking a vicious kick from Chau.
17:24All right, so now Eagles in Chau.
17:27This has been a gem of a match here
17:28in our semi-final.
17:32I'm going to try the Ron Miller special again.
17:40Trying to weaken that leg of Chau as much as he can.
17:45So as soon as that Ron Miller special is locked in,
17:48Chau has no opportunity.
17:50He has to tap.
18:02Oh, Robbie with the trash talk now.
18:08Let's show answers.
18:14They might be friends outside the ring in the same faction,
18:18but here in the ring battling one-on-one,
18:21it's not about friendship,
18:23it's about points,
18:24it's about winning.
18:31Oh, Robbie's rocked.
18:36Chau sees his opportunity now.
18:38What the?
18:38What the?
18:39What the?
18:39What the?
18:40What the?
18:42Oh!
18:44Shit!
18:45Oh, a chest kick.
18:50The Eagles caught him coming in,
18:52buried the knee,
18:52and then planted the chest kick,
18:54and now Eagles will go to the top.
18:57He needs some help from the Cork and Faithful.
19:00He's got a target in mind.
19:01The sniper in disguise.
19:034.50, no, out of the way,
19:04but Robbie rolls through.
19:07Oh, right under the chin.
19:11Here he comes.
19:12The Eagles caught him.
19:13Oh!
19:14Chau would not be denied, Gino.
19:17Chau used all this strength,
19:18and ran straight through Robbie's kick.
19:29Now kicking that arm out.
19:31Watch the arm submission after this.
19:34German super...
19:35He's locked it in.
19:36Right up and down.
19:37Yes, sir.
19:38He's been focusing on the arm the whole match,
19:40and now he sees his opportunity
19:42trying to break the grip of Robbie.
19:44Wait a minute.
19:45Robbie didn't get the grip broken,
19:47but now dragging him away.
19:50He's going to try and bend it the other way, Kevin.
19:51Oh!
19:54Oh!
19:56Oh!
19:57Oh!
20:01Oh!
20:02Oh!
20:03Oh!
20:04Oh!
20:04Eagles had to desperately get that boot
20:06on the bottom rope.
20:07Chau immediately picking him up.
20:09Watch out.
20:10Crossarm pile driver.
20:11Crossarm pile driver.
20:13He's...
20:14Oh!
20:15Good Lord.
20:16Come on, Eagles!
20:16Fell on a nasty angle, too,
20:19but Eagles able to kick out.
20:21Chau locking up those arms
20:24and dropping Robbie square on the top of his head.
20:37Here comes Chau.
20:38Eagles stagger.
20:40Bang!
20:41That kick.
20:42On point.
20:43Shock arrow time.
20:45Chau's looking to put it away.
20:48Here we go.
20:52Shock arrow.
20:53No!
20:54Eagles slips out.
20:55Head kick.
20:56Back smash!
20:57But Chau's hanging on.
20:59Hanging on for dear life now,
21:01giving it a big headbutt.
21:03Yeah, Robbie not out of danger
21:05in terms of shock arrow.
21:12And now, here we go.
21:14Oh, wait a minute.
21:15Up on the shoulders instead.
21:18Drops down.
21:20Robbie trying to find out.
21:24Desperation knee.
21:35And now, where's he going?
21:36Oh, my goodness.
21:38Turns the Cyrano into a DDT.
21:41Eagles going to the top rope.
21:44Chau is down.
21:454.
21:4650 splash on the leg.
21:49And now, the Ron Miller special.
21:52Ron Miller special.
21:55Schau's too far away from the bottom ropes.
21:57Robbie's been on that leg this whole match.
22:03Schau's screaming.
22:09Does he have the strength to pull himself to the bottom rope?
22:11He's going to try.
22:12Come on, Schau.
22:14You can do it.
22:16He can't do it.
22:17Robbie Eagles has a good show.
22:25Come on, Kevin.
22:29How about that?
22:30Give it up for Robbie Eagles, Chau.
22:32You've got to love it.
22:39Robbie Eagles has just submitted a show here at Corcoran Hall
22:43with the Ron Miller special.
22:59Now look at disgust on the face of Gino Gambino, who has thrown his show t-shirt into the trash.
23:07I can't believe I've had faith in the show, Kevin.
23:12Never again will I make that mistake.
23:14You paid 3,500 yen for that shirt.
23:16You better get it out of the trash, or I want my money back.
23:19They can stay there, Kevin.
23:21Oh, how dare you?
23:26You broke my heart, Schau.
23:35Oh, great sportsmanship, Gino.
23:37You've got to love it.
23:41You never shake my hand, Kevin.
24:06Yeah, Robbie's going to be happy with himself, isn't he?
24:10Oh, I'm hungry.
24:12And what I need to eat is that Super Junior Trophy.
24:26How dare you.
24:37He's broken my heart, Kevin.
24:38You know you jinxed Schau, by the way.
24:40That's your fault.
24:41My whole life is a jinx.
