00:00There was this woodcutter and he got enlightened, whatever that means.
00:05And somebody asked him, what did you do before your enlightenment?
00:10And he said, I used to get up, I used to pick my axe and travel to the jungle and
00:16chop wood
00:18and carry it on my head and sell it and buy food and sleep.
00:22Oh, so that was your routine before enlightenment.
00:25Now, what is your routine after enlightenment?
00:27He says, now I get up, I pick my axe, I go to the jungle, I chop wood, I sell
00:31it, I buy
00:32food, I eat it, I sleep.
00:33So no change at all.
00:36And I totally reject this kind of mindset.
00:40Doesn't matter whether it's coming from Zen or anywhere else.
00:44If you are saying that your outer environment and actions will remain the same even after
00:50inner illumination, then you have had no inner illumination.
00:55What if the fellow were a butcher or a murderer, then he would say, I used to pick up the
01:00gun, I used to slaughter the animals or human beings before enlightenment.
01:06Now after enlightenment, I again pick up the gun and I slaughter human beings and the same
01:10thing.
01:11No, no, no, no, no.
01:13The inner rise must display itself in the outer change.
01:23That's your team?
