00:00A duck walks into a pub and orders a pint and a ham sandwich.
00:03The barman looks at him and says, hang on, you're a duck.
00:05I see your eyes are working, replies the duck.
00:07And you can talk, exclaims the barman.
00:09I see your ears are working too, says the duck.
00:12Now if you don't mind, can I have my beer and my sandwich please?
00:14Certainly, sorry about that, says the barman.
00:16And he pulls the duck's pint.
00:17It's just, we don't get many ducks in this pub.
00:19What are you doing around this way?
00:20I'm working on the building site across the road, explains the duck.
00:23I'm a plasterer.
00:25Flabbergasted, the barman just says, well, you know what?
00:28Can we have a chat?
00:29But he gets the hint when the duck pulls out a newspaper from his bag and proceeds to read it.
00:33So the duck reads his paper, drinks his beer, eats his sandwich,
00:36bids the barman a good day and leaves.
00:38The same thing happens for two weeks.
00:39Then one day the circus comes to town.
00:42The ringmaster comes into the pub for a pint and the barman says to him,
00:45you're at the circus, aren't you?
00:46Well, I know this duck that could be just brilliant in your circus.
00:49He talks, drinks beers, eats sandwiches, reads the newspaper and everything.
00:53Sounds marvelous, says the ringmaster, handing over his business card.
00:56Get him to give me a call.
00:57So the next day when the duck comes into the pub, the barman says,
01:00hey, Mr. Duck, I reckon I can line you up with a top job, really good money.
01:03Well, I'm always looking for the next job, the duck says.
01:06Where's it at?
01:06It's at the circus, says the barman.
01:08The circus, repeats the duck.
01:11Yeah, with the big tent.
01:13Yeah, the barman replies.
01:14With all the animals who lives in cages and performers who live in caravans, says the duck.
01:18Of course, the barman replies.
01:19And the tent has canvas size and a big canvas roof with a hole in the middle, says the duck.
01:23That's right, says the barman.
01:25The duck shakes his head in amazement and says,
01:27what the f*** would they want with a plasterer?
01:47Oh, that's really good.
01:51That's really good.
01:52That's really good.
