In this second part of Nicodemus's story, Jesus goes deeper into what
it means to be born again — teaching about being born of water and the
Spirit. He then speaks one of the most powerful truths ever recorded:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. Whoever
believes in Him will have eternal life."
This is the heart of the Gospel message — God's love offered freely to
all who believe.
