00:00C'est parti pour le match de G1 Climax D-Block, le match de 30 minutes.
00:05Je vous remercie !
00:35pour gagner le tournoi et puis devenir le champion et puis prendre ça dans le G1
00:49et de course le digital signage
00:54referring to
00:55ce que mon collègue a été force de lire
00:59flight delays
01:01prevented Fantasmo de faire de la press conference
01:04but he certainly found a way to make his voice heard
01:09and we appreciate your efforts Chris
01:13Fantasmo's always got to find a way to get his stuff in
01:17but how will he fare in his first G1
01:31his tournament journey begins tonight
01:35against the man they face each other multiple times and a road similarly traveled a few years ago by Will
01:45Osprey
01:45Chris yeah Will Osprey use the G1 to spring himself into the heavyweight ranks as did Shingo Tsukagi off the
01:52best championship juniors that year
01:57and look at the record that Will Osprey went on ever since
02:05for the Commonwealth Kingpin best of the Super Junior winner
02:11IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship winner
02:14Never Openweight Championship winner
02:16New Japan Cup winner
02:18IWGP World Heavyweight Championship winner
02:22and the IWGP U.S. heavyweight champion
02:27Junior Overweight and heavyweight Will Osprey has done it absolutely all except win the tournament of tournaments
02:34Kevin whether you like that man or not on a human level it's really immaterial
02:40the man is a machine
02:43and the British built best belt machine
02:46is the man to beat
02:48in people
02:49in people
03:00IWGP U.S. heavyweight champion
03:03he did he did good
03:14well it was the quality of the material
03:21of course they met
03:22these two
03:24during the New Japan Cup
03:27perhaps that was where
03:29the abominable snowman
03:31fuck Jake Paul
03:33that's you baby
03:36perhaps that's where Phantasmo got the idea
03:38Asaporo
03:40G1
03:43Sonny Phantasmo
03:45felt a sign that
03:47lost to Will Osprey
03:48to the fact that he was going through a mental block at the time
03:51having lost
03:52sudden death
03:53and had the secret behind that loaded boot exposed
03:58since then says he's
03:59feeling
04:00more mentally sound than ever
04:02more physically able
04:04than ever
04:05oh my god
04:08yeah
04:09now Osprey
04:10affronted by the words of El Phantasmo
04:12not messing around
04:13no
04:14ha ha
04:14my god
04:19he is shot out of a cannon folks
04:2130 minutes around the clock
04:23but this one might not take too many
04:34down goes
04:43nothing slow and nothing sensual
04:47from Osprey Scott here
04:59sometimes you have two unbelievable athletes who just cannot stand one another
05:04they've known one another since Phantasmo was wrestling on the British scene
05:09the first steps Phantasmo took in a new Japan ring
05:13he beat Will Osprey and Don Taku in tag match
05:18oh my god
05:19hot shot
05:20here comes Osprey bang
05:28and of course Osprey
05:30was
05:31pushing for Phantasmo to be part of the New Japan roster
05:34wanted him at the time
05:35Osprey was part of chaos
05:37and Phantasmo turned that
05:39deal on its ear by
05:42double crossing Osprey and joining Bullet Club
05:44but of course now Osprey part
05:46the leader of the United Empire forming his own faction
05:51oh brother
05:54slow
05:57and sensual
06:02come on Phantasmo
06:07Phantasmo is starting to experience
06:09even though he's
06:12wrestling here tonight
06:13and 90 kilograms
06:15went from being
06:16one of the biggest
06:18members of the best in the Super Junior lineup
06:20to the smallest
06:21oh and this G1 Climax 32
06:24two
06:25and a kick out
06:27and now he'll float
06:29yes look
06:29no
06:31oh it's very not safe on the floor
06:33oh my goodness
06:38all the matches in D-block
06:40other than this one
06:40will be first time
06:41opponents for El Phantasmo
06:44they're all time
06:45record three and three
06:46two and two
06:48in New Japan
06:56that'd be quite the feather in the cap
06:58for El Phantasmo
07:00in his first G1
07:01to defeat Will Osprey
07:03who is
07:04the odds on favorite
07:06oh my god
07:09it's not just the points
07:10to Phantasmo
07:12it's about proving a point
07:16to this audience
07:17and perhaps some of that showmanship
07:20was what Kevin
07:21stopped him
07:22from winning best in the Super Juniors
07:25if you remember that
07:26war he had with Robbie Eagles
07:28and so determined he was
07:30to prove a point in the main event
07:32that he wasn't able to pull off the bench
07:51yeah Osprey came in
07:53of course the odds on favorite
07:54to be in the D-block mix
07:58he and Shingo Takagi
08:03in a battle to look to see
08:04who will emerge
08:05with the block in the semifinals
08:06so it looked like Osprey
08:07was going to beat Phantasmo
08:09in under a minute
08:10El P has survived
08:11the initial foray
08:13and has come back
08:14in his own style
08:17with his own
08:18incredible athletic ability
08:20and is now pushing the pace
08:22on Osprey
08:22who goes chest first
08:23into the red corner
08:26and now
08:28is looking to tie Osprey
08:30into the tree of woe
08:32no way to go now
08:34let's see
08:35when a Phantasmo
08:37will keep his offensive game plan
08:39or whether he'll want to have
08:41a little bit of fun
08:43at Will Osprey's expense here
08:50you can make it count
08:52in a big way
08:52oh boy
08:55how many times
08:56Kevin
08:56this is an indication here
08:58of what Phantasmo
08:59set out to do
08:59how many times
09:01will he set up
09:02and then put a boot
09:03to the crotch
09:04of his opponent
09:05this time sliding in
09:06with a drop kick
09:07to the face
09:07no ha ha
09:09from Phantasmo
09:10now that the bells are brown
09:11and Osprey's trying
09:13to figure a way out
09:15but a soaring missile
09:17draft kick there
09:17in the corner
09:19and down he goes
09:20so now
09:21Osprey's down
09:22Phantasmo too
09:23and he's got a hold
09:24of the ropes there
09:25and good vision
09:27by Marty Asami
09:29yeah well
09:30Will Osprey would say
09:31that if only Jeremy Marcus
09:33had the same
09:34environmental awareness
09:36and of course
09:37Will Osprey
09:38has been plagued
09:39by some bad calls
09:41eliminated
09:41very controversially
09:43in the New Japan Cup
09:46submission victory
09:46for Zack Sabre Jr.
09:48Osprey maintains
09:48to this day
09:49he never tapped out
09:52defeat to Jon Moxley
09:54then of course
09:55the full away
09:56for the U.S. title
09:59Osprey's boot
10:00was clearly under the rope
10:01and now
10:04the rightful holder
10:05of the U.S. title
10:06after the victory
10:07over Sonata
10:07at Dominion
10:08but Juice Robinson
10:09has physical possession
10:12of the belt
10:13so Osprey
10:14frustrated certainly
10:16by his adversaries
10:18and circumstances
10:22but can earn it all
10:23by winning the G1
10:27last of the kick
10:28side of the head
10:30and Fantasmo
10:31is staggered
10:32and down
10:37I don't think
10:38the chip on
10:39Will Osprey's shoulder
10:41has any more pronounced
10:42has ever been
10:43any more pronounced
10:43than it is right now
10:48it seems unbelievable
10:49that there are still
10:51detractors
10:51from Will Osprey
10:53the wrestler
10:53Will Osprey
10:54the human being
10:54yeah
10:55perhaps he might
10:56find some agreement
10:57but there's no doubt
10:59that that man
11:00is one of
11:01if not the best
11:02professional wrestlers
11:03on the planet
11:03absolutely
11:04and he is
11:05the IWGP
11:06U.S. heavyweight champion
11:07where whether
11:08Juice Robinson
11:09wants to admit it
11:10or not
11:10but Osprey
11:11wants to win the G1
11:12to reclaim the IWGP
11:15world heavyweight champion
11:16and it's Fantasmo
11:19now seeking answers
11:20and Osprey springboard
11:22oh red
11:24and that boot
11:25loaded or not
11:26very painful
11:27but look at the strength
11:30speed
11:31and determination
11:33of Osprey
11:35nailing
11:35El Fantasmo
11:37with a backbreaker
11:39hooks the near leg
11:41Marty Asami there
11:42looks at the shoulders
11:44counts two
11:45Fantasmo able to kick out
11:52Osprey knows just how dangerous
11:55El Fantasmo can be
11:57there was a time
11:58where Fantasmo
11:59had a clear edge
12:00over Will Osprey
12:07look at that
12:08he's thinking
12:08Chelsea Grin
12:09Fantasmo
12:10backing out of it
12:14catching him on the tailbone
12:16with the inverted atomic drop
12:18now
12:20body slam
12:23Fantasmo again
12:24you can tell
12:24he's still feeling
12:26the effects
12:26of the Osprey offense
12:27as he drops
12:28the knee
12:29from the second rope
12:31the enormity
12:32of this match
12:32in this situation
12:33in this stage
12:34that he's on
12:35not lost
12:36on Fantasmo
12:37no ha ha
12:38no backbreaks
12:40well the backdrop
12:42though
12:42shows the power
12:43of Will Osprey
12:44and again
12:45he was dealing
12:46with a
12:47what could have been
12:48a fatal kidney infection
12:51just over
12:52well now
12:53near two months ago
12:56he was able
12:57to overcome
12:59that
13:00get back to health
13:02defeat Sonata
13:05and set the stage
13:07here for the G1
13:21and Osprey
13:22could be
13:23luring
13:23Fantasmo
13:24in here
13:25come on
13:26bitch
13:26come on
13:27Osprey
13:28certainly
13:28as he said
13:29not looking past
13:30Fantasmo
13:32certainly perhaps
13:33was a little bit
13:33casual in his estimation
13:35of Orange Cassidy
13:36going into
13:37the forbidden door
13:38he pushed
13:39very very hard
13:41but got the victory
13:42on that big stage
13:44and now
13:47Fantasmo
13:49who is
13:50deciding to trade
13:52with Will Osprey
13:53and again
13:53this could be
13:54a fool's errand
13:55come on
13:55bitch
13:56as the knockout
13:57power
13:58with striking
14:00dominance
14:01for Osprey
14:02preeminent
14:02yeah Fantasmo
14:04is an underrated
14:05striker
14:05for sure
14:06but Osprey
14:07won the very
14:08premier
14:09strikers
14:10in New Japan
14:11Pro Wrestling
14:11broke the orbital
14:13bone of Sonata
14:15in victory
14:17again a match
14:18that the referee
14:19should have stopped
14:19before that
14:20orbital bone
14:21was broken
14:24come on
14:25come on
14:31come on
14:32come on
14:33come on
14:37Fantasmo
14:38trying to get quick
14:40shovel head
14:41into the chest
14:42and now
14:42catches him
14:43oh look at that
14:44hook kick
14:44no
14:45downstairs
14:46up over
14:47and Zagiri
14:48scores
14:50Fantasmo
14:50catching him
14:51out quick
14:51he got
14:52street cutting
14:55Oscutter on the way
14:56here we go
14:57out of the corner
14:58no
14:58Fantasmo
14:59my god
15:00reverse Spanish flight
15:04cover
15:04one
15:05two
15:06oh
15:07and Osprey
15:08just gets that
15:08left shoulder up
15:09no one knows
15:11Osprey better
15:12than El Fantasmo
15:13you saw it
15:13right there
15:1910 minutes have
15:20elapsed in our
15:2130 minute time limit
15:22two points for the win
15:24one each of it
15:24goes to time
15:26and if Fantasmo
15:28comes out with the win
15:29Kevin
15:29the key will have been
15:31him avoiding that
15:32Marafuji hook kick
15:34which really sealed
15:36the path to victory
15:37for Osprey
15:38against Sonata
15:39now sudden death
15:40will do the same
15:40for Fantasmo
15:41no
15:43oh
15:44stepped right
15:45into a wide open
15:47Chelsea
15:47oh
15:48pickled him
15:58hidden blade
16:00hidden blade
16:01will seal it
16:03and if he hits it
16:04oh no
16:04he'll crack his
16:05orbital Kevin
16:06no
16:07tries the
16:08Rana
16:09the power
16:10of Osprey
16:10oh my god
16:12one
16:12two
16:13and he's able
16:14to kick out
16:18but now setting him up
16:19here we go
16:20look at this
16:21oh
16:23another powerbomb variety
16:25and another kick out
16:26by ELP
16:27how badly does
16:29Fantasmo want this
16:34of all the six wins
16:36he can pick up
16:37in his debut
16:37he won
16:38this
16:38the most critical
16:43the only man
16:44in this tournament's field
16:45in the D block
16:47that Fantasmo
16:48has victories over
16:49is Will Osprey
16:50and Will Osprey
16:52goes to the top
16:53oh
16:54oh
16:55oh
16:56oh
16:56oh
16:56oh
16:56oh
16:56oh
16:57oh
16:57oh
16:57oh
16:57oh
16:58oh
16:59oh
17:06controversial
17:07outspoken
17:08rude and crude
17:10but you can never deny
17:11the athletic ability
17:13of ELP
17:16oh
17:18but this might not
17:20end particularly well
17:22for either man
17:23no
17:23it's not
17:24oh my god
17:25they're a long way up
17:27oh
17:27my god
17:29Superana
17:31high risk
17:33high reward
17:34and will follow up
17:35with a thunder kiss
17:38Osprey is down
17:42thunder
17:44and just
17:45whoa
17:46oh man
17:48Fantasmo went for broke
17:49paid for it
17:51critical error
17:51Robinson special
17:53the only mistake
17:54that
17:55El Fantasmo
17:56has made this match
17:57may have cost him
17:58here we go
17:59Oscutter
18:00no
18:01Fantasmo
18:02out of the way
18:02bang
18:03sudden death
18:04sudden death
18:06the boot
18:06no longer loaded
18:07but the kick
18:08just as lethal
18:09two
18:10and no
18:11no
18:12no
18:13no
18:14no
18:18okay
18:19coming in
18:21and deciding
18:23to go for it
18:23anyway
18:24off that thunder
18:24kiss
18:25I thought
18:25was going to be
18:27the critical error
18:27that cost Fantasmo
18:29the match
18:29but firing right
18:30back with sudden
18:31death
18:35CR2
18:37CR2
18:37let's see if he can
18:38hit
18:39oh wait a minute
18:42Osprey got his
18:42arms out
18:45again
18:46Fantasmo
18:47thinking
18:47can I try
18:47for it anyway
18:48roll up
18:50wait a minute
18:51wait a minute
18:52two
18:53and almost
18:54got it
18:56ooh
18:57there's the hook
18:57kick
18:57hook kick
18:59Oscutter
19:00here we go
19:00no no no
19:02backside
19:03backside
19:03whoa
19:06oh
19:07no
19:07a look
19:08at the referee
19:09and a hit
19:10blade
19:11and it's over
19:12Fantasmo
19:13looked at the referee
19:14in protest
19:15and Osprey
19:17made him
19:18pay
19:18my god
19:27it was all
19:29in that moment
19:30Kevin
19:32that momentary
19:34loss of
19:36concentration
19:36and the momentary
19:38loss
19:38of the killer
19:40instinct
19:40that Will Osprey
19:41always
19:42always possesses
19:51well it was
19:52anything but slow
19:53and anything but sensual
19:54as we got to our
19:56conclusion
19:57and a win
19:59for Will Osprey
20:02two points
20:03for Will Osprey
20:05and the big D block
20:12is going to be
20:13fiercely competitive
20:16and the big D block
20:18is going to be
20:30fiercely competitive
20:31before his next
20:32in fact
20:33each man's next
20:34opponent
20:35is Yujiro Takahashi
20:37Fantasmo
20:37faces him
20:38on the 24th
20:40Osprey
20:41on the 27th
20:50Osprey
20:51will be a heavy favorite
20:52to move
20:53to four points
20:54of course that means
21:03Osprey's
21:04tournament schedule
21:05gets a little more
21:06condensed
21:09and a little rougher
21:10as things progress
21:1410 days
21:15by far the longest
21:17break he will have
21:18he'll finish up
21:19the tournament
21:20on the 16th of August
21:21against Juice Robinson
