00:30That's my son
00:34I make several different types of paintings
00:37I paint portraits
00:38And I paint these kind of abstract, expressionist paintings
00:43I admire Kandensky and Rodachenko
00:47I also really like street art
00:53Good question
00:54I was very, very moved by this song called
00:58Mom Does the Washing
01:01Religion
01:01Your mom does the washing
01:03You thank God
01:04It inspired me to make the painting
01:10And it's about
01:13How people see mothers
01:16From all the different
01:20Sociopolitical ways in the world
01:22And how really absurd it is
01:24We're all doing just the best we fucking can
01:28And once you recognize it in yourself
01:31You can recognize it in your own mother
01:34You can recognize it in all mothers
01:36And then you can recognize that we all really could use a little bit more help with that
01:46I'm really content to claim all of myself
01:50And all the different experiences I've had all over the world
01:53Just doing different types of work
01:56You know, human aid work
01:58Is yet another opportunity for growth
02:01I'm really excited for growth
02:03I'm really excited for growth
02:03I'm really excited for growth
02:03I'm really excited for growth
