00:00:06Doc. You've been abroad for two years. Haven't seen a single woman. You must be frustrated.
00:00:11This is a special gift I got just for you. Look at this face. And this body. Isn't she perfect?
00:00:16I know you're a germaphobe. So I found you a clean one.
00:00:20I don't need her. Keep her for yourself.
00:00:24Wait, Doc. After all these years, not a single woman has caught your eye.
00:00:28Don't tell me you don't even like women.
00:00:30Get lost.
00:00:31Wait. Take another look. You don't want such an innocent college girl.
00:00:34I'm good.
00:00:35Fine. If you don't want her, I'll take her.
00:00:41Fine. Since you don't want her, I'll take her.
00:00:44Baby, if you take good care of me tonight, I'll make it worth your while.
00:00:48Don't touch me.
00:01:00Mom.
00:01:00Have you got the money yet? You know your brother has a heart condition. If we don't pay the $150
00:01:05,000 deposit, the hospital will kick us out.
00:01:07Mom, I...
00:01:08I don't care how you do it. Get that $150,000 right now. If anything happens to your brother, I'll
00:01:13never forgive you.
00:01:14He'll be back.
00:01:28You didn't reach me.
00:01:30That's what I said.
00:01:31Bullied to tears.
00:01:43That's it?
00:02:16Can you turn off the lights?
00:02:20Can you turn off the lights?
00:02:22No.
00:02:38No, no more, please.
00:02:40My first time with a woman in 27 years, and I can't believe I'm this addicted.
00:02:58$100,000.
00:02:59Still $50,000 short.
00:03:01Then my brother can wait for a heart donor at the hospital.
00:03:10For my brother, I'd do anything.
00:03:16Viv!
00:03:18Evan!
00:03:19Why the long face?
00:03:21Stressing about money again?
00:03:23Yeah.
00:03:24I need money.
00:03:25I need a lot of it.
00:03:26I might have a job for you.
00:03:28It pays really well, but...
00:03:30It's working as a maid.
00:03:31Not sure if you're up for it.
00:03:33I am.
00:03:33As long as it pays, I'll do anything.
00:03:36A wealthy family like the Fosters usually has a regular maid.
00:03:39But theirs just quit for personal reasons.
00:03:42So they need a replacement.
00:03:43They need someone who can clean and cook, is proactive, and can live in.
00:03:48It might affect your studies.
00:03:50Do you want to think it over?
00:03:54If I take this job, I'll have to drop out of school.
00:03:59But if I don't take it, I can't afford my brother's medical bills.
00:04:03Damn.
00:04:04I gotta warn you.
00:04:06Eldest Master Foster just got back from abroad.
00:04:08He's a neat freak and super picky.
00:04:10You'd better be careful.
00:04:11Ahem.
00:04:12The Foster family only wants top-tier talent.
00:04:15Whoever has the best skills will get to stay.
00:04:40I announce, the chosen nanny is...
00:04:47Madam.
00:04:47I'd like to announce, the chosen nanny is...
00:04:50Madam.
00:04:52Hey, wait a minute.
00:05:00Mmm.
00:05:02This is the exact taste.
00:05:04Exactly like my grandma's.
00:05:06Who made this dish?
00:05:08I...
00:05:08I did.
00:05:12Hey, son.
00:05:14Come home for dinner tonight.
00:05:15I found you a new nanny.
00:05:17Her cooking is amazing.
00:05:20Mmm.
00:05:20Okay.
00:05:24You'll be staying here from now on.
00:05:26Master Foster is coming home for dinner tonight.
00:05:28Unpack and come down to help quickly.
00:05:29Okay.
00:05:33Our young master is a neat freak.
00:05:35Not a speck of dust on the table.
00:05:37Pay attention.
00:05:38Yes, sir.
00:05:40Hello, Master Foster.
00:05:53My son is back.
00:05:56Hurry and serve the food.
00:05:57Yes, madam.
00:06:01Wait.
00:06:02Keep your head down when serving.
00:06:04Don't look up at the young master.
00:06:06Don't think just because you're pretty you can seduce him.
00:06:08I'm warning you.
00:06:09Our young master has no interest in women.
00:06:13Every woman who tried to seduce the young master was thrown out of the foster family.
00:06:17Go on.
00:06:18Yes, sir.
00:06:26Yes.
00:06:32All these dishes were made by our new maid.
00:06:35Try them.
00:06:36They're really good.
00:06:41Oh, wait.
00:06:43The young master isn't home often, but you should still meet him.
00:06:46Viv, come say hi to...
00:06:48Master Foster.
00:06:54Try the freshly cooked shrimp.
00:06:56It's crisp and tender.
00:06:58So fresh.
00:07:00Indeed.
00:07:01Fair and rosy.
00:07:02So smooth.
00:07:03Truly delicious.
00:07:07Pink and plump.
00:07:08Very tender.
00:07:09Tastes really good.
00:07:14I didn't expect Viv to be so young and able to cook so much.
00:07:18Tastes good, right?
00:07:19It really does.
00:07:21And so sweet.
00:07:22So sweet?
00:07:24Who's sweet?
00:07:25Mom.
00:07:26I said the shrimp is sweet.
00:07:28You misheard me.
00:07:29Eat more if you like it.
00:07:34Um, madam, there's still work in the kitchen.
00:07:37I'll head back first.
00:07:38Go ahead.
00:07:39The little girl who sold herself to me for a hundred grand actually became my maid.
00:07:44Interesting.
00:07:50I spent a hundred thousand dollars to buy a man, and he's actually young master foster.
00:07:55Oh my god.
00:07:56How can I be the foster family's maid now?
00:08:00Alex needs a heart transplant.
00:08:02The hospital wants a $150,000 deposit so Alex can stay there and wait for a heart.
00:08:07If he gets the surgery, it'll cost at least $500,000.
00:08:11The salary here is very high.
00:08:12Here I can earn the deposit and slowly save up for Alex's surgery.
00:08:18I have to stay with the foster family.
00:08:21But what about Michael Foster?
00:08:23After what happened between us, will he really let me be a maid right under his nose?
00:08:42Don't, don't come any closer.
00:08:47So many women have thrown themselves at me, Michael Foster.
00:08:51I find them all repulsive.
00:08:52Why is she different?
00:09:02Who is it?
00:09:04Strange.
00:09:05Who could it be this late?
00:09:16M, Master Foster, what are you doing here?
00:09:20Master Foster, when you needed money, you threw yourself at me.
00:09:24Now that you don't, it's strictly business.
00:09:30Master Foster, it's so late.
00:09:33Do you need something?
00:09:34You're not going to school, but came here to be a maid?
00:09:37I need money.
00:09:39I need to make money.
00:09:41How much?
00:09:42I'll give it to you.
00:09:46No need.
00:09:47I can earn it myself.
00:09:52As soon as spring comes, my nose gets all stuffed up.
00:09:57My allergies are acting up again.
00:09:59Mr. Carter is coming.
00:10:00We can't let him see us.
00:10:05This outfit.
00:10:07Did you wear it for me?
00:10:09This is...
00:10:10This is the Foster family's maid uniform.
00:10:13Let me go.
00:10:18I need to make money.
00:10:19I really need this job.
00:10:21I can't let Mr. Carter see you.
00:10:40Viv, what was that noise in your room?
00:10:42Mr. Mr. Carter, I'm fine.
00:10:44I accidentally bumped into the table.
00:10:47The table?
00:10:48I clearly heard something fall.
00:10:50I'm warning you.
00:10:51Everything in there belongs to the Fosters.
00:10:52You'd better not break anything.
00:10:53If you do, you'll pay for it.
00:10:54I understand.
00:10:56I'll be careful.
00:10:59No way.
00:11:00Open the door, Viv.
00:11:01I need to take a look inside.
00:11:03No need.
00:11:04I'm really fine.
00:11:05Who's checking on you?
00:11:06I'm checking the stuff.
00:11:07Open the door, Viv.
00:11:15Please.
00:11:18I'm already in bed.
00:11:19Whatever broke in here, just take it out of my pay.
00:11:22Okay.
00:11:31Look at the time, Vivian.
00:11:33You're still not up.
00:11:33I'm getting up now, Mr. Carter.
00:11:35The Fosters have guests today.
00:11:36Hurry down and help out.
00:11:37Okay.
00:11:37I'll be right down.
00:11:41I'm sore all over.
00:11:43All because of last night.
00:11:54Bro, was Antarctica fun?
00:11:56Fun?
00:11:57That's all you think about, Mrs. Lane.
00:11:59Your brother went there for research, not for fun.
00:12:01I was just curious.
00:12:02Can't you be more like your brother?
00:12:03He was an excellent student, skipped several grades, and got his PhD at 25.
00:12:08If you were even half as good as him, I'd thank my lucky stars.
00:12:12If Mike could just get married soon and have a baby boy, that would be perfect.
00:12:18By the way, Nick, you're not a kid anymore.
00:12:21You're a senior, right?
00:12:22Got a girlfriend yet?
00:12:23Yeah, Nick.
00:12:24You're graduating this year.
00:12:26It's time to settle down.
00:12:27Don't be an old bachelor like your brother.
00:12:30Mom.
00:12:32Settle down soon, so I can finally have grandkids.
00:12:39Get married soon, so your mom can hold her grandkids soon.
00:12:44Actually, I already have someone I like.
00:12:46Which family is she from?
00:12:47She's a junior from my college.
00:12:48She's beautiful and outstanding.
00:12:49For several years in a row, she's won the top scholarship at our school.
00:12:52Wow, that's impressive.
00:12:54When are you bringing her home for us to meet her?
00:12:56She hasn't agreed to be my girlfriend yet.
00:12:58But I won't give up.
00:12:59I'll definitely make her my girlfriend.
00:13:03Viv, it's you.
00:13:07Nick.
00:13:08Mom, Auntie.
00:13:10She's the one I like.
00:13:11Viv, what are you doing here?
00:13:14I...
00:13:14She's working part-time.
00:13:20Look at her.
00:13:21So hardworking.
00:13:22Then look at you, slacking off every day.
00:13:25Oh, Mom.
00:13:26In front of my junior, could you save me some face?
00:13:30Auntie, Mom, I'm done eating.
00:13:32Enjoy your meal.
00:13:36Mom, I'm done too.
00:13:37Take your time.
00:13:45Viv, I have something I must give you.
00:13:50After you rejected me last time, the gift I prepared for you was never given to you.
00:13:54I've kept it with me all this time, hoping that when I saw you again, I'd confess to you one
00:13:58last time.
00:14:00Viv, meeting you today is a chance from above.
00:14:02I have to tell you how I feel.
00:14:04Viv, I really like you.
00:14:05Will you accept me?
00:14:15I'm done.
00:14:19In broad daylight, fooling around behind closed doors?
00:14:21Bro, let me introduce you.
00:14:23This is Vivian Hughes, my college junior.
00:14:25Isn't she just the sweetest?
00:14:27She's very sweet indeed.
00:14:28Viv, this is my brother.
00:14:29He's a PhD graduate in biology from Oceanview.
00:14:32He's my idol.
00:14:33For all these years, he never dated anyone because of his studies.
00:14:36He hasn't even held a woman's hand.
00:14:38Then your brother is so innocent.
00:14:41What a hypocrite.
00:14:43Bro, I'm confessing to Viv.
00:14:44Viv, come help me out.
00:14:45I suggest you find someone else.
00:14:47Why?
00:14:48Because she's not clean.
00:14:52Bro, what do you mean?
00:14:53I don't get it.
00:14:56You don't need to understand.
00:14:58Just stay away from her.
00:15:01But-
00:15:02Nick, you deserve a better girl.
00:15:04We're not right for each other.
00:15:07Viv.
00:15:09She's dirty.
00:15:15Hard to let go?
00:15:16I don't know what you're talking about.
00:15:19Give me your phone.
00:15:26Take the money.
00:15:30Thank you, Master Foster.
00:15:31But since it wasn't my first time yesterday, I don't need this much.
00:15:37You.
00:15:37Master Foster, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now.
00:15:49Once I submit this leave application, I'll no longer be an Ocean View University student.
00:15:56I worked so hard to get into college, but in the end, I just became a nanny.
00:16:02Viv, the soup on the stove is ready.
00:16:04Oh, coming.
00:16:09I'm coming.
00:16:17She wants to take a leave of absence?
00:16:21Master Foster, did you need me for something?
00:16:24Are you still short on cash?
00:16:29Not for now.
00:16:30Then why haven't you quit?
00:16:32What?
00:16:32Addicted to being a nanny?
00:16:34Huh?
00:16:34Go back to school.
00:16:36But I...
00:16:37I need to make money.
00:16:38Don't want to leave, huh?
00:16:40You want to be alone with me that badly?
00:16:50I really, really need a steady job.
00:16:53It's the only way to slowly save up for Alex's heart transplant.
00:16:58This job is very important to me.
00:17:00Two days.
00:17:01Quit your job and work for me, okay?
00:17:04Since you like being a nanny so much, you might as well just be mine.
00:17:07I'll pay you double.
00:17:08You can still go to school and cook for me when you're free.
00:17:11How about it?
00:17:12You don't have to be on call all day, and you get double the pay.
00:17:16I'll be at the office during the day.
00:17:17Who would you even serve?
00:17:21Double the pay.
00:17:23I'll soon earn enough for Alex's surgery.
00:17:25I have a condition.
00:17:27What is it?
00:17:29Move in with me.
00:17:31I...
00:17:31I don't want to.
00:17:34Never mind, then.
00:17:35I agree.
00:17:41Here's my address.
00:17:42Move in as soon as you pack up.
00:17:44But I haven't resigned from Mrs. Foster.
00:17:46She...
00:17:46She said she likes my cooking.
00:17:48I'll finish this month first.
00:17:50No need.
00:17:51I'll talk to her.
00:17:56That's great.
00:17:56I can go back to school.
00:17:58I can go back to school.
00:18:06Welcome back, young master.
00:18:14Um...
00:18:15Young master, dinner is ready.
00:18:18It's time to eat.
00:18:23There's one more dish.
00:18:25I'll go get it.
00:18:32Michael Foster.
00:18:34Let me go.
00:18:54What's with the act?
00:18:55Weren't you enjoying it before?
00:18:58What?
00:18:59Do I have to pay you first to sleep with you?
00:19:03Michael Foster.
00:19:04You bastard.
00:19:09Michael Foster, you bastard.
00:19:11It's so late.
00:19:12Where can I even go?
00:19:21In my whole life, no one has dared to treat me like this.
00:19:34She hit me, and then she just ran off.
00:19:41She didn't take her coat.
00:19:47She hit me, and then she just ran away.
00:19:52She didn't even take her coat.
00:19:55Hey, sweetie.
00:19:57Got nowhere to go?
00:19:58Come over here.
00:19:59What do you want?
00:20:00What do we want?
00:20:03Stay away from me.
00:20:06Looking like a slut.
00:20:08Aren't you just asking for it?
00:20:09I live right around here.
00:20:11My husband is on his way right now.
00:20:13It's this late, and you're dressed like that.
00:20:15Who's gonna believe you're not a hooker?
00:20:17Boss, stop wasting time.
00:20:19Let's just get to it.
00:20:21Get her!
00:20:23No!
00:20:24Help!
00:20:28Hey!
00:20:33She said her husband would come for her.
00:20:36Didn't you hear her?
00:20:38Who are you?
00:20:39Don't ruin my fun!
00:20:40Believe me, you'll be dead soon.
00:20:46The life of Michael Foster isn't that easy to take.
00:20:52Get him!
00:21:04Just you wait!
00:21:12Michael Foster, are you okay?
00:21:14Go home.
00:21:23Come in if you want.
00:21:33You're hurt.
00:21:35Let me bandage it for you.
00:21:43It's bleeding.
00:21:45It's all my fault.
00:21:48It's fine.
00:21:49Not as bad as that hit of yours.
00:22:29It's all my fault.
00:22:50I'll head back now.
00:23:00The more you resist, the more I want you.
00:23:08Viv!
00:23:10Viv!
00:23:11You finally have time to hang out.
00:23:13Evan, thanks for finding me that job.
00:23:15Let me treat you to a meal today.
00:23:16Well, can I pick the place?
00:23:18Of course you can.
00:23:20Okay, let's go.
00:23:21Dr. Lane, please sign this for me!
00:23:24Wow, Sr. Lane!
00:23:26Sr. Lane is so handsome!
00:23:30Viv!
00:23:31It's Dr. Lane.
00:23:32I heard he opened a private hospital.
00:23:34He's recruiting from our nursing program.
00:23:36Don't you have a secret crush on him?
00:23:38Go give it a try.
00:23:40Go get him!
00:23:41What are you afraid of?
00:23:53You little brat!
00:23:55I've raised you all these years and you won't even call me dad.
00:23:58I just asked you to cook for me and you smashed my bowl.
00:24:01I'll kill you!
00:24:03It was you.
00:24:04You pushed me.
00:24:05That's why I dropped it.
00:24:07Oh?
00:24:08You dare talk back?
00:24:10Damn you!
00:24:12Just you wait!
00:24:16How dare you make your dad mad!
00:24:19No food for you today.
00:24:20Stay outside and think about what you did.
00:24:24When do you see.
00:24:28Are you okay?
00:24:37Here.
00:24:39You are.
00:24:40You're right.
00:24:41Come on.
00:24:41You're.
00:24:42You're.
00:24:42You're.
00:24:43You're.
00:24:44You're.
00:24:52You.
00:24:53I'm Andrew Lane. I'm a medical student. If you ever get hurt again, you can always come to me.
00:25:02If you like him, go for it. What are you afraid of?
00:25:09What's wrong, Viv?
00:25:12Dr. Lane!
00:25:14Why are you hiding, Viv?
00:25:16Someone like me shouldn't even think about love.
00:25:19Forget it.
00:25:21Let's go.
00:25:24Viv, but you said I could pick the place.
00:25:27This is a karaoke bar.
00:25:29It just opened!
00:25:31And it's half off!
00:25:32I heard the service is great.
00:25:34Let's go check it out.
00:25:36Alright.
00:25:40Hello, Master Foster. I have something going on tonight. I'll be home late.
00:25:45What is it? Be specific.
00:25:48I'm treating a classmate to dinner.
00:25:53Hurry up!
00:26:00Hey, Viv!
00:26:02It's Dr. Lane. Let's go say hi!
00:26:05Yeah.
00:26:09Dr. Lane! What a coincidence! What are you doing here?
00:26:13Just-
00:26:13Student-like. It is quite a coincidence. You guys here for a drink? Come on, grab a seat.
00:26:19Sure.
00:26:28Viv, you know Mr. Foster?
00:26:30I-I don't. We do.
00:26:33Mr. Foster.
00:26:34How do you know Viv?
00:26:39I've helped her before. Oh.
00:26:41What a coincidence.
00:26:42Hey, don't you stand there. Have a seat.
00:26:50How did Mr. Foster help Viv?
00:26:53That day at the Duke Lounge, she insisted on giving her first time.
00:27:03Her first time selling drinks. To me.
00:27:06Then she spilled the drink. The boss was gonna fire her. I helped her out.
00:27:10Yeah.
00:27:11Oh.
00:27:17Viv, why do you look so pale? Are you feeling okay?
00:27:21I'm fine.
00:27:24I'm fine.
00:27:24I'll get it.
00:27:31Here, take a look. Anything you'd like to order?
00:27:36Viv, you really don't look well. Do you have a fever? Let me see.
00:27:41No, it's fine. I'm really okay.
00:27:53What's wrong, Viv?
00:27:54Nothing. I'm going to the restroom.
00:28:07That jerk, Michael Foster. If Dr. Lane saw that, what should I do?
00:28:12Forget it. I should just run.
00:28:17Doctor. Master Foster.
00:28:20Do you like him?
00:28:21I don't like Dr. Lane.
00:28:23Then how'd you know who I meant?
00:28:26I.
00:28:31Michael Foster. What exactly do you want?
00:28:36What? Not Andrew kissing you, so you're disappointed?
00:28:39Enough, Michael.
00:28:40You're so protective of the guy you like. I can't even say a word about him.
00:28:43Dr. Lane is different from us. Please stop insulting him.
00:28:48Michael. What are you doing?
00:28:50What do you think I'm doing?
00:28:53I'm sorry.
00:28:54Let me go. Please.
00:29:00Be with me. Name your price.
00:29:03You want to keep me?
00:29:05Yes. You want money, right? I have plenty, Vivian.
00:29:09To be honest, you're the first woman I've slept with, and I really like sleeping with you.
00:29:17You want money. I want to sleep with you. Why not just take what we both need? Say yes. Be
00:29:22my woman, and mine alone.
00:29:24I won't.
00:29:27Vivian Hughes. It's not like we haven't slept together. What's the difference between once and a hundred times?
00:29:31Of course there's a difference. To you, once or a hundred times makes no difference. But to me, it's the
00:29:36difference between having a choice and not.
00:29:55I quit. Here's the leftover grocery money.
00:29:59She ran off again.
00:30:08Hello?
00:30:08Vivian Hughes. You ungrateful brat. It's been forever since you came home. Your brother waits for you every day, crying
00:30:13for you to come back. You get back here right this instant.
00:30:16I...
00:30:22I...
00:30:24Alex, I'm back.
00:30:28Sis! You are finally back!
00:30:30Look!
00:30:31I got you some comic books.
00:30:33Wow!
00:30:34Comic books?
00:30:36Sis!
00:30:37You really didn't have to buy these!
00:30:39Mom said the deposit for my surgery was all paid by you?
00:30:43It must have been a lot.
00:30:45You must have worked so many jobs.
00:30:46You must be exhausted.
00:30:48I don't want you to work so hard.
00:30:54Be a good boy, Alex.
00:30:56Don't worry about me.
00:30:57I'll work really hard and make good money.
00:30:59One day, I'll take you away from here.
00:31:02Really?
00:31:02Yeah.
00:31:03I believe you.
00:31:05Hey, you should clean up the room.
00:31:07Okay, sure.
00:31:08Go read your comic books then.
00:31:09Okay!
00:31:10I believe you will definitely make a lot of money.
00:31:12Yeah.
00:31:13Yeah.
00:31:26Mr. Hughes!
00:31:27What are you doing?
00:31:29What?
00:31:30I raised you.
00:31:32And I can't even get a hug?
00:31:34Mr. Hughes, you are my stepfather.
00:31:37Please behave yourself.
00:31:39Behave myself?
00:31:40Huh?
00:31:41You brought back $150,000 in a week.
00:31:46Don't tell me you earned it from working.
00:31:50Tell me, did you get your hands on some dirty money?
00:31:55How I make my money is none of your business.
00:31:57You have no right to control me.
00:31:59Hey!
00:32:00Look at you.
00:32:02Just a broke student.
00:32:03What do you have of value?
00:32:05Besides your body, what else can you sell?
00:32:08You've already been with another man anyway.
00:32:11One more won't make a difference.
00:32:20Alex!
00:32:23Alex!
00:32:24Alex, wake up!
00:32:25Alex!
00:32:26Alex, don't scare me!
00:32:28Alex!
00:32:29Alex!
00:32:30Oh my!
00:32:31What a disaster!
00:32:32You jinx!
00:32:34I knew you'd bring trouble!
00:32:36Call an ambulance!
00:32:41Doctor!
00:32:42Family of Alex Hughes?
00:32:44I am.
00:32:45I'm Alex's mother.
00:32:46Alex's heart is bleeding in multiple places.
00:32:49We can't wait for a donor heart.
00:32:51There's only one option left.
00:32:52We need to give him an artificial heart.
00:32:54If you agree with this, sign here.
00:32:56Then go pay the fee right away.
00:32:57An artificial heart?
00:33:00How much does it cost?
00:33:01About one million dollars.
00:33:04One million dollars?
00:33:05Where am I supposed to find one million dollars?
00:33:08Make a decision quickly.
00:33:09The patient can't wait.
00:33:11Even if I sold myself, I wouldn't be able to get one million dollars.
00:33:14Sign it.
00:33:15We must sign it.
00:33:17I'll figure out the money.
00:33:18You can get one million dollars?
00:33:20Huh?
00:33:21No matter what it takes,
00:33:24I will save Alex.
00:33:35Sorry, the number you dialed cannot be reached at this time.
00:33:39Michael Foster, I agree to your proposal.
00:33:43I can't believe Michael Foster blocked me.
00:33:46Where is the money?
00:33:48I don't care how you do it.
00:33:49You have to get a million dollars.
00:33:51If you hadn't seduced his dad, Alex wouldn't have had a heart attack.
00:33:54It was David Hughes who did that to me.
00:33:56Growing up, other than beating and scolding me,
00:33:58what have you ever done for me?
00:33:59Are you even my real mom?
00:34:01I don't care how you do it.
00:34:03You must get a million dollars today.
00:34:05If Alex dies, you're dead too.
00:34:13Michael Foster won't help me.
00:34:15Who else can I ask?
00:34:17You upset your dad.
00:34:19Your punishment is no lunch today.
00:34:23Mom, I haven't eaten in two days.
00:34:26Please, just let me have a bite.
00:34:28Who told you to be so blind and kick over his wine bottle?
00:34:46Sis.
00:34:47Sis.
00:34:49I saved.
00:34:50This for you.
00:35:02Growing up, my brother was the only one who cared about me.
00:35:06I have to save him.
00:35:09Excuse me.
00:35:10I need money to save my brother.
00:35:11Can you please lend me some?
00:35:12Go away.
00:35:14Excuse me.
00:35:15I just need a little money.
00:35:16Get lost.
00:35:16There are all kinds of crazies out here.
00:35:18Get away.
00:35:22Who can save my brother?
00:35:24Who can save my brother?
00:35:41Michael Foster?
00:35:42I agree to your terms.
00:35:44Please lend me the money.
00:35:46I'm begging you.
00:35:55Regret it?
00:35:58Yeah.
00:35:59Say it.
00:36:00Say you regret it.
00:36:04I...
00:36:05Regret it.
00:36:07Come here.
00:36:12Sit on my lap.
00:36:23How much?
00:36:25A million dollars.
00:36:26A million dollars?
00:36:28Who do you think I am?
00:36:29Only a million dollars.
00:36:30A million dollars is enough.
00:36:31Please give me a million dollars.
00:36:37One million dollars received via PayPal.
00:36:42Alex, as long as you're alive, everything I did was worth it.
00:37:07You're home.
00:37:09You belong only to me now.
00:37:11Go wash your hands.
00:37:13It's time to eat.
00:37:14No.
00:37:15I'm going to eat you first.
00:37:37Hey, Viv.
00:37:43Thanks for the ride.
00:37:50Take it.
00:37:52Why are you giving me a bank card?
00:37:53If Michael Foster's woman dresses like this, people will think I'm bankrupt.
00:37:58It's my money.
00:37:59Spend as you wish.
00:38:00I'm going to eat you first.
00:38:09Since when did Viv get so close to Michael Foster?
00:38:11Does she know Michael Foster has a fiancé?
00:38:14Did you see that blue folder?
00:38:19Yeah, I see it.
00:38:20Bring it to the office.
00:38:22Okay.
00:38:35Um, I brought the documents you asked for.
00:38:38I'll go now.
00:38:41Come here.
00:38:50Sit here.
00:39:00Take them off.
00:39:07Take them off.
00:39:12There are people outside.
00:39:18Michael! Open the door!
00:39:20Michael. Um, someone is knocking.
00:39:28Wait here.
00:39:33Is my office now open to just anyone?
00:39:36I'm sorry, Mr. Foster. Since it was Miss Hanley, we just assumed.
00:39:40Assumed.
00:39:40Are you not aware of my rules? Don't bother coming in tomorrow.
00:39:45Michael Foster, I know you're in there. Open the door right now.
00:39:53Michael Foster, you don't take me seriously at all, do you?
00:39:56I've been knocking for so long. Are you pretending not to hear me?
00:40:00What do you want? Get straight to the point.
00:40:03Michael Foster.
00:40:06You're playing around with women behind my back.
00:40:11Is it any of your business?
00:40:14Michael Foster, don't forget about our engagement.
00:40:17In a year, I'll be your woman.
00:40:19I'm not asking you to stay single, but you should at least stay clean.
00:40:23Dragging some random woman back here and doing it right away.
00:40:26What if you catch some disease and pass it on to me?
00:40:29Just shut your mouth.
00:40:33Miss Hanley, since high school, you've had an endless stream of men.
00:40:37Foreign models, gigolos, athletes.
00:40:39If not 30, you've had at least 20.
00:40:41How dare you call someone else dirty?
00:40:43How do you know?
00:40:48So what if you know?
00:40:49With the Hanley family's power, you can't break the engagement.
00:40:53Next Wednesday is my grandpa's 70th birthday.
00:40:56Keep your schedule clear.
00:41:09Let's continue.
00:41:11No.
00:41:12I have to go home and cook.
00:41:24Hello, Dr. Lane?
00:41:26Viv, are you free on Wednesday?
00:41:27I'd like you to go to a party with me.
00:41:30Wednesday?
00:41:31Yeah, Wednesday.
00:41:32Oh, I have class Wednesday morning, so it might not work.
00:41:36I only have time in the afternoon.
00:41:38Is that all right?
00:41:39That's fine.
00:41:39The afternoon is perfectly fine.
00:41:41I'll have a dress ready for you.
00:41:45All right, then.
00:41:47Great.
00:41:50Viv, you and Michael Foster shouldn't be together.
00:41:58Viv, you actually look really beautiful today.
00:42:02This is my first time at this kind of party.
00:42:05I won't embarrass you, right?
00:42:06Of course not.
00:42:07You look gorgeous.
00:42:08Tonight, I'll be the guy at this party that everyone else envies.
00:42:13Dr. Lane, stop teasing me.
00:42:19Viv, grab a bite first.
00:42:21I'll say hi and be right back.
00:42:23Sure, go ahead.
00:42:24Don't worry about me.
00:42:25Okay.
00:42:35My dress!
00:42:39I'm so sorry.
00:42:40I'm sorry.
00:42:41I...
00:42:42Are you blind?
00:42:46I'm sorry.
00:42:47I didn't mean to.
00:42:48I'll wash it for you.
00:42:50Who let this peasant in?
00:42:52Don't you know this dress can't be hand-washed?
00:42:55Then, I'll get it dry-cleaned tomorrow.
00:42:58Is that okay?
00:42:59Dry-clean?
00:43:00Look closely.
00:43:01Miss Hanley's dress is premium haute couture.
00:43:05It has 108 diamonds on it.
00:43:08If even one falls off, you couldn't afford it.
00:43:11Miss Hanley?
00:43:11She's the ultimate heiress of Bayview City.
00:43:14Mr. Hanley Sr.'s only granddaughter.
00:43:16Oh my God!
00:43:17This woman dared to cross Miss Hanley?
00:43:19Does she have a death wish?
00:43:22I'm sorry.
00:43:23I didn't mean to.
00:43:25What's your name?
00:43:26Who did you come with?
00:43:27Look at the way she grabbed all those desserts just now.
00:43:31You can tell how broke she is.
00:43:33Like she hasn't eaten in days.
00:43:35I...
00:43:35I'm Vivian Hughes.
00:43:37Vivian Hughes?
00:43:39Never heard that name in high society.
00:43:41Must be some small-time boss's mistress here to crash the party.
00:43:44Since she dared to cross me, Madeline Hanley,
00:43:47I'll definitely teach her a lesson.
00:43:49Well, this dress isn't that expensive.
00:43:51Just three million dollars.
00:43:53Since you got it dirty, you'll have to pay full price, Miss Hughes.
00:43:57Three million?
00:43:59Where am I supposed to get that much money?
00:44:02Stop playing the victim.
00:44:05As if I'm bullying you, paying what you owe.
00:44:08Is only right.
00:44:10Yeah, pay up.
00:44:11Pay up!
00:44:13Pay up!
00:44:19Pay up!
00:44:20I really don't have the money.
00:44:21You ruined Miss Hanley's dress.
00:44:23You think saying you're broke is enough?
00:44:25Exactly.
00:44:26Today is Mr. Hanley Sr.'s 70th birthday.
00:44:28Delaying Miss Hanley from paying her respects won't be fixed with just three million dollars.
00:44:31Look at the dress she's wearing.
00:44:32It's worth next to nothing.
00:44:33She definitely can't pay the three million dollars.
00:44:35What do I have to do for you to forgive me?
00:44:37Then get on your knees, apologize to Miss Hanley, and lick the dress clean.
00:44:44Kneel down and apologize!
00:44:48Dr. Lane, where are you?
00:44:53Young Master Foster is here.
00:44:55It's Young Master Foster.
00:44:56Wow!
00:44:57He is so handsome!
00:45:01Michael Foster.
00:45:04Mike, what took you so long?
00:45:06Grandpa's been waiting for you.
00:45:08What's going on here?
00:45:10It's this broke loser.
00:45:12She got my dress all dirty.
00:45:14This was specially for Grandpa's 70th birthday.
00:45:16A custom-made dress.
00:45:21Mike?
00:45:22Do you know her?
00:45:23I think she just called your name.
00:45:26Who did she come here with?
00:45:28I don't know her.
00:45:30He doesn't know me.
00:45:33Viv.
00:45:34Viv.
00:45:35What's wrong?
00:45:38Dr. Lane, is Miss Hughes here with you?
00:45:42Yes.
00:45:43I brought Viv here.
00:45:44What happened?
00:45:49What a misunderstanding.
00:45:51Just now, Miss Hughes accidentally stained my dress.
00:45:55I was just going to ask her to pay for the damages.
00:45:58But since she's with you, out of respect for you, I'll let it slide.
00:46:02Then on behalf of Viv, thank you, Miss Hanley.
00:46:05We're all friends.
00:46:06Don't mention it.
00:46:08Mike, Grandpa's getting anxious.
00:46:10Let me take you to see Grandpa.
00:46:11Okay.
00:46:12Let's go.
00:46:15Master Foster and Miss Hanley are such a perfect match.
00:46:18They really are a match made in heaven.
00:46:22Mike and Miss Hanley.
00:46:23They look great together, right?
00:46:24Yeah.
00:46:25A perfect match.
00:46:27Viv, let's go.
00:46:29I'm sorry, Dr. Lane.
00:46:31I embarrassed you.
00:46:32It's okay.
00:46:33Let's go.
00:46:42Have you had enough of acting?
00:46:44Michael Foster.
00:46:47Why do this?
00:46:48You're destined to marry me.
00:46:50I don't mind if you have mistresses.
00:46:52And you shouldn't care about my romantic past.
00:46:54After we get married, we can both do as we please.
00:46:57Isn't that nice?
00:46:58I'm a germaphobe.
00:46:59I can't stand dirty things.
00:47:02With the Foster-Hanley Alliance, we are destined to produce an heir.
00:47:06You'll sleep with me sooner or later.
00:47:07There's no escaping it.
00:47:09I said, keep your dirty hands off me.
00:47:17Michael Foster.
00:47:19You will be mine.
00:47:24Viv, are you okay?
00:47:26Dr. Lane, Miss Hanley is Michael Foster's fiancé, right?
00:47:31Mike and Miss Hanley are a great match.
00:47:33They are meant to be together.
00:47:34So, I'm the other woman.
00:47:36Viv, don't say that about yourself.
00:47:39So, Dr. Lane, you knew all along Michael Foster had a fiancé.
00:47:44Did you show me on purpose?
00:47:46Mike and I went to college together, so I knew about their engagement.
00:47:49I just didn't want you to be kept in the dark.
00:47:54Viv, if Michael Foster breaks up with you, would you give me a chance?
00:48:00Dr. Lane, you.
00:48:02From the moment I met you, I knew I couldn't live without you.
00:48:09All these years, I thought we could take our time.
00:48:13But Michael Foster showing up threw everything off track.
00:48:16Viv, will you be with me?
00:48:23I'm sorry, my mind is a mess.
00:48:27It's okay, Viv.
00:48:28I was too impatient.
00:48:29We can take it slow.
00:48:30You just need to know.
00:48:32I'll always wait for you.
00:48:35I'm sorry, Dr. Lane.
00:48:37I need some time alone.
00:48:45Vivian, answer the phone.
00:48:48Hello?
00:48:49Vivian, do you know I've been looking for you?
00:48:51My phone died.
00:48:52Wait for me at home.
00:48:53Don't go anywhere.
00:48:53You hear me?
00:48:54I'm on my way back.
00:49:01Are you okay?
00:49:05I'm fine.
00:49:06Go ahead.
00:49:10It's not what you think.
00:49:12It's just an act.
00:49:13Is the marriage an act, too?
00:49:16Did Andrew Lane tell you this?
00:49:19It doesn't matter who told me.
00:49:21It's the truth, anyway.
00:49:23It is the truth, but it's not the whole story.
00:49:26My marriage to Madeline Hanley is a year away.
00:49:29Right now, I'm single.
00:49:30You don't need to feel pressured at all.
00:49:32If I'm not single in a year, I won't have any right to ask you to stay.
00:49:36Is that so?
00:49:38Then...
00:49:38Then I misunderstood you.
00:49:40Viv.
00:49:41At least for this year.
00:49:43Stay with me, okay?
00:49:49Once I get a million dollars, you let me go.
00:49:53You still want to leave me, don't you?
00:49:55No.
00:50:07You still want to leave me, don't you?
00:50:30Are you in such a rush to run away from me?
00:50:34Just wait for me for a year, and I'll settle everything.
00:50:43Why won't you just wait for me?
00:50:48Even if I go back to my old life, working four jobs a day, in just one year, there's no
00:50:53way I can save a million dollars.
00:50:57Viv! Why are you avoiding me?
00:51:00Did you see my messages?
00:51:06I was at work. My phone was on silent.
00:51:10Dr. Lane, did you need me for something?
00:51:12I want to talk to you.
00:51:13Viv, have you and Michael Foster still not broken up?
00:51:17Michael Foster and I, it's not what you think it is, but I can't leave him right now.
00:51:22Until I pay back the one million dollars, I have no choice.
00:51:26Does he have something on you?
00:51:28Is he blackmailing you?
00:51:31I owe him money. A lot of money.
00:51:33Is it about Alex?
00:51:36Why didn't you come to me? I could have helped you.
00:51:39If I ask you for money now, will you lend it to me?
00:51:45Viv, be with me. I'll take good care of you.
00:51:48As for the money, I'll figure something out.
00:51:50I needed money, so I sold myself to Michael Foster.
00:51:54And now, for money again, should I sell myself to Dr. Lane?
00:52:00Right now, I don't like anyone.
00:52:02Are you sure you want to use this money to keep me tied to you?
00:52:07Viv, I'm not trying to buy you.
00:52:09But if you want freedom, you at least need to leave Michael Foster, right?
00:52:14Think about it. If you need money, call me anytime.
00:52:22I'm back.
00:52:35I'm back.
00:52:37Why are you home so late today?
00:52:40The shop was pretty busy today.
00:52:42Do you have any manners?
00:52:44Didn't you see me sitting right here?
00:52:46Who ignored who first?
00:52:48You spoke so softly.
00:52:50How was I supposed to hear you?
00:52:56Let's talk.
00:52:59The terms I mentioned, have you thought about them?
00:53:02I have. I refuse.
00:53:04I want to know why.
00:53:06We agreed on one year.
00:53:08Not a day, an hour, a minute, or a second less.
00:53:12What's the point?
00:53:14Michael Foster.
00:53:15We're destined to part ways anyway.
00:53:17Why waste our feelings?
00:53:18Why don't you just marry Miss Hanley?
00:53:20Why won't you let me go?
00:53:24Are you jealous?
00:53:25There's nothing to be jealous of.
00:53:28Some people just aren't meant for me.
00:53:30That much I know very well.
00:53:33How do you know I'm not meant for you?
00:53:35I mean it.
00:53:36This is best for both of us.
00:53:39Vivian, why do you have to leave me?
00:53:45Can't you think about me for a second?
00:53:47You make me sink so deep here,
00:53:49and then you turn around and marry someone else.
00:53:51What am I supposed to do?
00:53:52I make you sink deep?
00:53:54That's not what I meant.
00:53:56Don't misunderstand.
00:53:57I'm an independent person.
00:53:58I need to live freely and happily.
00:54:01Please don't force me, okay?
00:54:03Yes.
00:54:05Unpredictably, uncontrollably.
00:54:06My heart wavered for Michael.
00:54:08Because of this, I have to leave.
00:54:09If I fall any deeper, I'll be doomed forever.
00:54:14As for your money, I'll find a way to pay you back ASAP.
00:54:19So the only one losing control and sinking deep is just me?
00:54:23All this time was all she felt nothing but being forced and trapped.
00:54:27Should I...
00:54:28let go?
00:54:35Only a million dollars.
00:54:38Why are you snooping on my texts?
00:54:41Just a million dollars.
00:54:42And that's enough to keep you?
00:54:43You're really cheap.
00:54:45This is my private business.
00:54:47Even though you're my boss here, you still have no right to judge me.
00:54:50So you're borrowing money from Dr. Lane to get away from Michael Foster.
00:54:54Because of your brother, you were forced to give yourself to him.
00:54:58And Dr. Lane knows about this, so he's willing to give you a million dollars to buy your freedom.
00:55:02But you can't completely trust Dr. Lane, so you're still hesitating whether to borrow it from him.
00:55:08How do you know about my brother and all that?
00:55:10I guessed.
00:55:11Did you look into me?
00:55:13I'm not a cop.
00:55:14Why would I do that?
00:55:15It's just that the other day, when you were chatting, I was at the counter.
00:55:20And I happened to overhear.
00:55:22Seriously.
00:55:23Not only do you read my texts, you eavesdrop on me too?
00:55:26Don't you think borrowing from Dr. Lane is like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire?
00:55:34All I want right now is to get rid of him.
00:55:37I haven't thought about anything else yet.
00:55:39Rather than sleeping with Michael Foster for a year, I'd rather scrimp and save for ten years to pay Dr.
00:55:44Lane back.
00:55:44Michael Foster's good-looking, and he's rich.
00:55:46As far as I know, many girls from wealthy families have thrown themselves at him.
00:55:51But he always kept his distance.
00:55:53What exactly did you do to win over this untouchable guy?
00:55:57And even made this golden boy drive his luxury car every day to pick you up from work?
00:56:02You know Michael Foster?
00:56:04He's a big deal in Bayview City.
00:56:06It's hard not to know him.
00:56:07Besides, that luxury car of his.
00:56:09There are only two in all of Bayview City.
00:56:11Parts so flashly right outside my shop every day.
00:56:14It's hard for me not to notice.
00:56:16That's between me and Michael Foster.
00:56:18It's personal.
00:56:19I don't want to talk about this at work.
00:56:21What if I can help you pay back that one million dollars?
00:56:27One million dollars?
00:56:28That's no small amount.
00:56:30Why would you help me?
00:56:31Michael Foster and I went to the same college.
00:56:34Back then, he stole the spotlight from all of us guys.
00:56:37Now that I can cause him a little trouble, why wouldn't I?
00:56:41Just to cause him a little trouble.
00:56:43You'd lend me a million dollars?
00:56:48It's not for free, of course.
00:56:49Maybe you haven't even noticed.
00:56:51Your sense of smell is sharper than most.
00:56:53And the desserts you make keep customers coming back.
00:56:57I'll give you a million dollars.
00:56:58You work for me for three years.
00:57:00Learn to make pastries from me.
00:57:01And we'll enter the competition.
00:57:03If we win, we split the prize money.
00:57:05How do you know I'll definitely win the prize?
00:57:08I trust my gut.
00:57:10Any other strings attached?
00:57:12I have no interest in keeping a woman.
00:57:14Just promise me that for these three years, you'll work hard with me.
00:57:17I'll make sure to maximize your full potential.
00:57:20I won't owe Dr. Lane any favors.
00:57:22And I won't have to sleep with Michael Foster.
00:57:24I can pay off the debt with my own hands.
00:57:27Okay.
00:57:27I agree.
00:57:28One million dollars.
00:57:30Do you want cash or a transfer?
00:57:32Cash.
00:57:33All right.
00:57:44It's been days.
00:57:45She hasn't come home.
00:57:46Hasn't called.
00:57:47Not even a single text.
00:57:51Are you coming home tonight?
00:57:53Let's have dinner together.
00:57:54We haven't eaten together in a while.
00:57:56Silly girl.
00:57:57So you finally gave in.
00:57:59Got it.
00:58:00I'll be home right after work.
00:58:05Mr. Foster, the conference room is ready.
00:58:07Wait, no, no.
00:58:08Send out a notice.
00:58:09Everyone can leave early tonight.
00:58:10Postpone the meeting.
00:58:11What's gotten into Mr. Foster?
00:58:21You're back.
00:58:24Dinner's ready.
00:58:25Go wash up and let's eat.
00:58:27Okay.
00:58:32Have you made up your mind to stay by my side?
00:58:40What's this?
00:58:41The terms we agreed upon.
00:58:46There's a million dollars in here.
00:58:49Vivian Hughes.
00:58:51And this bank card.
00:58:52I haven't touched the money in it.
00:58:55Starting today, our contract is over.
00:58:58Enough.
00:58:58I said no.
00:59:00Michael Foster.
00:59:01I don't owe you anymore.
00:59:05Where did you get the money?
00:59:08Was it Andrew Lane?
00:59:12How am I worse than him?
00:59:14Why choose him over me?
00:59:16Let me go.
00:59:17I won't let you go to him.
00:59:25Michael Foster.
00:59:27Don't push me.
00:59:28I won't let you go to him.
00:59:38Hello?
00:59:39Evan.
00:59:40It's Michael Foster.
00:59:41It's Michael Foster.
00:59:42Mr. Foster.
00:59:44Why are you calling me?
00:59:45Vivian has nowhere to go.
00:59:47I guess she'll look for you.
00:59:49I'll send you an address.
00:59:50Take her there to stay.
00:59:53Oh.
00:59:54Okay.
01:00:00Hey, Evan.
01:00:02Can I stay at your place for a few days?
01:00:05Evan.
01:00:06I'm free.
01:00:07What's up?
01:00:08Did you go to jail without telling me?
01:00:12Shouldn't you be happy to be free?
01:00:14Why are you so sad?
01:00:16I don't know why I'm so sad right now.
01:00:20It's okay.
01:00:22Get some sleep.
01:00:22Everything will be fine.
01:00:24Just go to sleep.
01:00:32Goodbye, Michael Foster.
01:00:40Dr. Lange.
01:00:41I'm sorry.
01:00:42I came uninvited.
01:00:44Again.
01:00:45Viv.
01:00:46You haven't called me for days.
01:00:48I've been really worried.
01:00:49I don't need your money anymore.
01:00:51Viv.
01:00:52What do you mean?
01:00:53Are you really willing to be Michael Foster's plaything?
01:00:58I'm sorry.
01:00:59I didn't mean it that way.
01:01:00I just care about you.
01:01:02I've already broken up with Michael Foster.
01:01:04All the money, I've already paid him back.
01:01:07Where did you get the money?
01:01:08From the boss of this shop.
01:01:10I signed.
01:01:11I signed a three-year work contract.
01:01:13He paid me in advance.
01:01:15You'd rather trust a boss you just met a few days ago than trust me?
01:01:18I wouldn't even need you to pay me back.
01:01:21It's not that I don't trust you.
01:01:23I just want to make a living with my own hands.
01:01:25If possible, I don't want to owe anyone.
01:01:28Neither you nor Michael Foster.
01:01:30I just don't want you to work so hard.
01:01:32Not at all.
01:01:33I don't find it hard.
01:01:34I've never felt so relieved.
01:01:36I can rely on myself now.
01:01:37And I don't owe anyone anymore.
01:01:42Sorry, Dr. Lange.
01:01:44I need to get back to work.
01:01:45My boss is really strict lately.
01:01:47If I don't finish my work, he'll be angry.
01:01:50Okay.
01:01:51Go ahead then.
01:01:53Viv.
01:01:54I gave you a chance.
01:01:55But you didn't take it.
01:01:58Don't blame me for doing this the hard way.
01:02:13Dr. Lange.
01:02:15Viv.
01:02:16You're awake.
01:02:17Here.
01:02:19Why am I in the hospital?
01:02:21I remember I was on my way home.
01:02:24Viv.
01:02:25Come abroad with me.
01:02:27Dr. Lange.
01:02:28What are you talking about?
01:02:29Why would I go abroad with you?
01:02:33I lost my parents when I was young.
01:02:35And you're not close to yours.
01:02:37We are a match made in heaven.
01:02:39For all these years, when no one protected you, I was the one who patched you up.
01:02:44I thought us being together was just meant to be.
01:02:48I've been waiting.
01:02:49Waiting for you to fall into my arms.
01:02:52Why would you rather be with Michael Foster, some random guy you just met, instead of coming to me?
01:02:58Dr. Lange, are you crazy?
01:03:00I don't know what you're talking about.
01:03:02I am crazy.
01:03:03I can't stand that something meant to be mine suddenly became someone else's.
01:03:08You're not the Dr. Lange I used to know.
01:03:14Viv.
01:03:14As long as you behave, I won't hurt you.
01:03:19Get in here.
01:03:22Take good care of her.
01:03:23Don't let her escape.
01:03:25Yes, Mr. Lange.
01:03:33Michael Foster.
01:03:38Dr. Lange, you look so panicked to see me.
01:03:40Why?
01:03:41Guilty conscience?
01:03:42No.
01:03:43Just surprised.
01:03:44What brings Mr. Foster to my hospital?
01:03:47To see a doctor.
01:03:48Rich people need to see doctors, too?
01:03:50Who told you rich people don't need to see doctors?
01:03:52I didn't mean it like that.
01:03:54This way, please.
01:03:55Let's get you checked out.
01:04:00Michael Foster, help.
01:04:03Wait.
01:04:05What was that noise?
01:04:07Oh, that.
01:04:09It's my patient in there.
01:04:10Bipolar disorder.
01:04:12A little noise is normal.
01:04:15Michael Foster, help.
01:04:18Why do I feel like someone's calling my name?
01:04:24In this hospital, how could anyone know your name?
01:04:28You must have misheard.
01:04:37Let's go.
01:04:37I'll get you checked out.
01:04:38This way, please.
01:04:39Please.
01:04:43This is a VIP suite.
01:04:45Without permission, you can't disturb my patient.
01:04:49At the end of the day, we were college classmates.
01:04:52You can't just ruin my business, right?
01:04:56Boss, I'll go to the restroom first.
01:04:59Straight ahead and turn right.
01:05:04Mr. Foster, your vitality is strong.
01:05:12There are no major issues.
01:05:13As for your insomnia, it's probably because recently you've had some things on your mind.
01:05:17I'll prescribe some herbal medicine to help you regulate your body.
01:05:20Whatever.
01:05:21Your hospital isn't that big.
01:05:23But it pulls in $10 million a month.
01:05:26Quite the cash cow for a small place.
01:05:29My little business can't compare to a big CEO like you.
01:05:32$10 million of hard-earned money.
01:05:35Everyone in the world would want to earn that kind of money.
01:05:37I heard Madeline Hanley is the major shareholder.
01:05:40I didn't know you two were close enough to start doing business together.
01:05:43Mr. Foster, I'm not like you, born into a wealthy family.
01:05:47I wanted to start a business with no money, so getting an investor is perfectly normal, isn't it?
01:05:52Besides, Madeline is an old classmate.
01:05:55It's normal for her to invest in me, right?
01:06:03Whoa.
01:06:04A whole floor of VIP suites all empty.
01:06:07Okay.
01:06:23All right.
01:06:24I won't keep you from getting rich, Dr. Lane.
01:06:27Take care.
01:06:30Boss, Dr. Lane's hospital is completely empty.
01:06:33Even the operating rooms are empty.
01:06:34Where did this month's cash flow come from?
01:06:36Andrew Lane, since when did you become a money launderer for the Hanley's?
01:06:40Ms. Hanley is the hospital's major shareholder.
01:06:42By looking into the hospital, aren't you afraid of offending Ms. Hanley?
01:06:45After all, you two are still engaged.
01:06:46The wedding is off.
01:06:51You wouldn't be going after the Hanley's for Ms. Hughes, right?
01:06:54Grandpa Hanley has absolute power in Bayview City.
01:06:57If Mr. Foster Sr. finds out, he definitely won't approve.
01:06:59We've worked with them for decades.
01:07:01The relationship between our two families is deeply intertwined.
01:07:04If you make a move against the Hanley's, it'll inevitably affect the Foster's.
01:07:07Who pays your salary?
01:07:08You do.
01:07:10So keep this in mind.
01:07:12You work for me, not my dad.
01:07:14The boss hasn't had a woman in 27 years, but when he does, it's a huge deal.
01:07:18He's going to turn the Hanley's and the Foster's completely upside down.
01:07:22Vivian Hughes, this time, I'll make you willingly come back to me.
01:07:27Hello?
01:07:28Mr. Foster.
01:07:29What is it?
01:07:30Viv is missing.
01:07:34She didn't come home tonight.
01:07:36I went to the dessert shop where she works.
01:07:38She wasn't there.
01:07:39She didn't go to school either.
01:07:40She's not replying to my texts or answering my calls.
01:07:43Ethan, I want to know where Vivian went in the shortest time possible.
01:07:47Yes, sir.
01:08:00Viv, where are you going?
01:08:04Stay away from me.
01:08:05I don't know you.
01:08:07You're not Andrew Lane.
01:08:09The Andrew Lane I know is kind and understanding.
01:08:12He'd help total strangers.
01:08:13He's absolutely nothing like you.
01:08:16Viv, as long as you go abroad with me, you like me gentle, then I'll always be gentle.
01:08:24I'm never going abroad with you.
01:08:27Viv, no one can find you, whether you like it or not.
01:08:33Behave yourself, little bunny, and it'll be easier on you.
01:08:43The Andrew Lane
01:08:44Hello? Do you have what I ask for?
01:08:46Drew, why are you leaving so soon?
01:08:48You know what? The Hanleys still need you.
01:08:50I've already worked for the Hanleys for so many years.
01:08:53I deserve everything I have now.
01:08:55Drew, don't be so cold to me.
01:08:58After all, I used to be your woman.
01:09:01I wouldn't have the luck to enjoy it.
01:09:03The things in my hands.
01:09:04I believe the Hanleys don't want to see them go public.
01:09:08Andrew Lane, I'll give you what you want right now.
01:09:11If you dare to leak out even a little bit of what you have, I will kill you.
01:09:21Viv, let's go.
01:09:23I have everything ready.
01:09:27Boss, we found Miss Hughes.
01:09:28She and Andrew Lane booked tickets abroad together.
01:09:31The flight is taking off soon.
01:09:32Let's go to the airport.
01:09:33Yes, sir.
01:09:40If you don't want your brother's artificial heart to fail, artificial heart to fail, you better behave.
01:09:44What did you do to my brother?
01:09:46As long as you're good, your brother will be fine.
01:09:50Move.
01:09:54Vivian, where are you?
01:09:56Vivian.
01:10:24You haven't eaten for three days.
01:10:26Be good.
01:10:27Be good and eat this.
01:10:32Dr. Lane, please let me go.
01:10:37Do you act like this with Michael Foster?
01:10:40Michael Foster is different from you.
01:10:45What exactly makes him better than me?
01:10:48He's just luckier than me.
01:10:49Born into a wealthy family.
01:10:51If I had his resources, I wouldn't be worse than him.
01:10:55Viv, you should have been mine all along.
01:10:58Besides, didn't you used to secretly like me?
01:11:01Let me go.
01:11:02Viv, I can give you more than Michael Foster ever could.
01:11:06Trust me.
01:11:15Vivian Hughes.
01:11:16Don't make me do this the hard way.
01:11:26Dr. Lane, phone call.
01:11:33Can't you see what I'm doing?
01:11:35It's Miss Hanley.
01:11:37She says it's important.
01:11:38She insists you answer.
01:11:43Andrew Lane.
01:11:44Michael Foster is looking for you like a mad dog.
01:11:47What did you take from him?
01:11:49He's looking for me?
01:11:50He says you took his property.
01:11:52And now he's turning the Hanley family upside down just to find you.
01:11:56He actually turned against the Hanley family?
01:11:58He's already found some dirt on us.
01:12:00You better not mess with him.
01:12:02What exactly did you take from him?
01:12:03Give it back right now.
01:12:05The Hanleys and Fosters have partnered for decades.
01:12:08If he targets the Hanleys, isn't he afraid the Fosters will suffer too?
01:12:11He's willing to cost the Fosters a thousand dollars just to cost the Hanleys eight hundred.
01:12:16That's what's so terrifying.
01:12:17He's a complete maniac.
01:12:19Andrew Lane.
01:12:20Don't forget, you owe everything you have to the Hanley family.
01:12:23Stop causing trouble for us.
01:12:24Sorry.
01:12:25But this time, I'm doing it anyway.
01:12:30He's already followed you abroad.
01:12:32You're on your own.
01:12:38This is getting really interesting.
01:12:41I always thought Michael was just playing with you.
01:12:44I never expected he'd turn against the Hanleys for you.
01:12:47And even follow you abroad.
01:12:50Michael, he...
01:12:53Vivian.
01:12:54Michael is a golden boy.
01:12:57I don't believe he truly loves you.
01:13:00Let's wait and see how far this golden boy will go for you.
01:13:10Michael.
01:13:12He came here for me.
01:13:15It wasn't wishful thinking.
01:13:17He has feelings for me too.
01:13:27Mr. Foster, even if we're old classmates, there's no need to follow me all the way abroad.
01:13:33Where is Vivian Hughes?
01:13:36Mr. Foster, you're still so impatient.
01:13:40Since we're old classmates, we should catch up first.
01:13:45I don't have time for this.
01:13:47Hand Vivian Hughes over right now.
01:13:52Viv.
01:13:54Michael Foster.
01:13:55If you want to take Vivian Hughes, it's very simple.
01:13:59Sign this.
01:14:00Transfer all your family's wealth over to me.
01:14:09No.
01:14:10Michael Foster.
01:14:11I can't believe you'd just, for a woman, give up everything you have.
01:14:20You got what you wanted.
01:14:22Let her go now.
01:14:27Impossible.
01:14:28Michael Foster.
01:14:29You actually gave up everything for her?
01:14:32She's nothing but a toy you bought with your money.
01:14:34Who are you trying to fool?
01:14:36You don't even love her.
01:14:37I don't know if it's love.
01:14:39All I know is, the moment she cries, I can't say no to her.
01:14:44Too bad we're out of the country now.
01:14:47Where the rules don't apply.
01:14:49Men, tie him up.
01:14:51And throw him in the ocean.
01:14:54Andrew Lane, you're still so despicable.
01:14:56Say what you want.
01:14:57I'm the winner in the end.
01:14:59If you won't play by the rules, we can settle this with our fists.
01:15:09If you won't listen to reason, we can always settle this with our fists.
01:15:14Boss!
01:15:15My dear employee, your boss is here to rescue you.
01:15:17Tyler Gray, you took my money.
01:15:20Now get to work.
01:15:21Let's get to work, boys.
01:15:23We have to satisfy the boss.
01:15:25The boss looks pretty badass.
01:15:33Michael.
01:15:36Give me that.
01:15:38Please take a look, Mr. Foster.
01:15:41Go to hell.
01:15:43Watch out.
01:15:53Michael?
01:15:54Michael?
01:15:55Michael, are you okay?
01:15:56Michael?
01:15:59He's still breathing.
01:16:01Get him to the hospital.
01:16:09Michael Foster!
01:16:10Michael, I'm begging you.
01:16:12Please wake up.
01:16:14It's all my fault.
01:16:15I hurt you.
01:16:20What are you crying for?
01:16:22He's perfectly fine.
01:16:28I really thought you were dead.
01:16:31I almost got pounded to death by you just now.
01:16:36Vivian.
01:16:37This is the first time you've initiated a hug.
01:16:51Hey, hey, hey.
01:16:53I just stepped out for a call, and you two are already all over each other.
01:16:57Are we in a soap opera?
01:16:59Where's Andrew Lane?
01:17:00We've got him locked up, waiting for your orders.
01:17:02What do you want to do with him?
01:17:04He used shell hospitals to launder money for the Hanleys.
01:17:07We have the proof.
01:17:08The cops will put him away for good.
01:17:10Bring him back home.
01:17:12Yeah.
01:17:17Nothing has changed.
01:17:25Michael, you're still recovering.
01:17:28This little scratch is more than enough to handle you.
01:17:45Stop it.
01:17:46You wore me out last night.
01:17:51Little one, you're finally back.
01:17:56Michael Foster, you pervert.
01:17:59Viv...
01:18:01Will you be my girlfriend?
01:18:04Yeah.
01:18:14Once you put on my necklace, you can't run away anymore.
01:18:19Yeah.
01:18:20Vivian Hughes.
01:18:22Even though it's a bit late to ask,
01:18:25it's very important.
01:18:27I hope you'll answer me honestly.
01:18:29Yeah.
01:18:32Mm-hmm.
01:18:33Vivian, do you like me?
01:18:35From the bottom of your heart,
01:18:37the way a woman likes a man,
01:18:38not because I saved you,
01:18:40but just because I'm me.
01:18:42I do.
01:18:44I don't know when it started.
01:18:46But before I even realized it,
01:18:48I had already fallen deeply for you.
01:18:54That's great.
01:19:00What about you?
01:19:01Do you like me?
01:19:02You're silly.
01:19:03If I didn't like you,
01:19:05would I chase you overseas to get stabbed?
01:19:07I'm not a masochist.
01:19:09When did it start?
01:19:13Probably the very first time we met.
01:19:15Huh?
01:19:17That time at the nightclub?
01:19:22A few minutes before that.
01:19:24Had we met before that?
01:19:32Please buy my first time.
01:19:37Your needs are my mission.
01:19:39Quality guaranteed.
01:19:40Top-notch service.
01:19:42Vivian, you can definitely sell yourself.
01:19:44You got this.
01:19:46Where did this silly girl come from?
01:19:48She's even rehearsing selling herself.
01:19:51At the time, I was thinking,
01:19:53this girl is unbelievably naive.
01:19:55What could have happened to her
01:19:57to make her come here to sell herself?
01:19:59Back then,
01:20:00Ryan Holt
01:20:01insisted I prepare a pitch
01:20:03to sell myself.
01:20:07I'm so lucky.
01:20:09I'm so glad it was you.
01:20:17Vivian,
01:20:18once you put on this ring,
01:20:20you're never allowed to leave me.
01:20:23Mm.
