01:00I watched that match again fairly recently,
01:37le win over Shingo Tsukagi.
01:38David Finlay dropping his first
01:41à Yujiro Takahashi.

02:31Juice Robinson appears
02:32en bullet clump gear
02:33à Tontaku,
02:36flattens Tanahashi
02:38et threatens
02:39à prendre le titre de l'U.S.
02:40C'est qu'il fait.
02:44Nous n'avons pas besoin de la saga
02:46de l'U.S. title.
02:49C'est le champion, c'est Will Osprey.
02:51Juice still has possession of the belt.
02:53Juice faces Will Osprey
02:54at tournaments in.
02:56But David Finlay is seeking answers.
03:00Yeah.
03:01All of that radio silence
03:03and then
03:04there was never a knife
03:06physically stuck in the back of David Finlay.
03:10Even after Juice Robinson joined
03:12Bullet Club, he said to me,
03:15I want to go my way
03:16and David Finlay can go his.
03:18But he couldn't help but deliver those shots.
03:22And the matchmakers
03:23couldn't help but put this money match
03:25together here in the G1.

03:46July 24th, 2016.
03:48All right, here we go.
03:50A little correction.

07:01David Finlay knows more about wrestling than Juice Robinson,
07:06there is no doubt about it.
07:07Le fourth generation grew up as a toddler,
07:12was babysat by Hiroshi Tenzan while his dad was wrestling
07:16in the rings in Germany.
07:20From the top wrist lock, Juice pulls Finlay into the side
07:24headlock, quick reposition.
07:27Now Finlay off the ropes, Juice tries to hip toss,
07:30reverse, no block, arm drag.
07:34And Juice Robinson, you know, to his credit,
07:37of course, you know, took a different path,
07:40went through that system in Florida
07:42and then decided to bet on himself and came out here.
07:45And he could have had the star treatment when he came into Japan.
07:50And he demanded that he be treated the same as everybody else
07:54and worked his way up from the bottom.
07:55So that makes it all the more disappointing
07:58when he bet on himself and now he's just a stooge for the house.
08:02You know what I mean?
08:03That's what's gross about him joining public.
08:05You know, again, I think we've got to make sure Juice is a star,
08:10no doubt about it, and carved his own path.
08:13And, boy, this could be a quick end to this one if he hits pulp friction.
08:15But Finlay rolls up, and the dropkick.
08:20Juice retreats to the neutral corner.
08:25You got your number, Jake.
08:27Huh? What you got?
08:2930 back?
08:31Huh? Huh? Huh?
08:36Whoa!
08:38That's not all that's how it is.
08:41And as a result, Finlay charging in, gets caught.
08:44Oh, and snapping that left shoulder.
08:48Long history of issues with that shoulder.
08:52It was all started right here in Corcoran Hall, Kevin,
08:55when Finjuice were wrestling the Briscoes on a rising.
09:00And throwing him shoulder first into the steel.
09:05Juice Robinson knows the issues that David Finlay has had.
09:09with that shoulder, all the times that Juice had to help pick up
09:15the team when Finlay's shoulder was ailing him.
09:21And he is capitalizing on the weakness of Finlay
09:24that he knows oh so well.
09:28Oh, and look at that, the way the shoulder pops up,
09:31landing him on the edge of the ring.
09:38And Juice Robinson, you know, saying in recent weeks,
09:41he was always the star of that team.
09:43And I would agree with that.
09:45I think that's a fair point.
09:47That is absolutely a fair point.
09:48But David Finlay was obviously dealt such a bad hand
09:53when it came to his injuries, but you can't use that as an excuse.
09:56That's why he needs to beat Juice Robinson for so many reasons here.
10:00I'm not gonna knock you.
10:03I'm not gonna miss it.
10:07Ah.
10:09Ah.
10:10Ah.
10:12Ah.
10:13Count him out, dammit.
10:15Ah.
10:16You see if he quits.
10:17No.
10:18Get in here.
10:19Count him out.
10:20No.
10:24No.
10:25Ah.
10:26Ah.
10:26Ah.
10:26Ah.
10:26Ah.
10:26Ah.
10:27Ah.
10:27Juice's satisfaction very quickly rolling back underneath the bottom rope and Juice hanging
10:32on, continuing to be tenacious on the left arm, oh and just the shoulder capsule directly
10:39into the mat.
10:45So many seminal moments between these two men, also involving Switchblade Jay White have
10:50happened right here at Cork and Hall from the many Young Lion battles.
10:54Juice's rise and chasing Jay White for the US title.
11:00Juice breaking his hand in quest that title, finally winning the belt in San Francisco in
11:052018.
11:08Finley's opportunities and struggles, the team coming together, this shoulder injury against
11:14the Briscoes, as Chris mentioned, in honor of rising.
11:17Divorce court.
11:18When David Finley came back from that shoulder injury.
11:23Maybe he was coming back a little bit too soon, but it was to save Juice Robertson from
11:28Lance Archer back at the time.
11:33And that brought the two of them together to win the World Tag League in 2019, to win the
11:40IWGP Tag Team Championships, to win the Impact Tag Team Championships.
11:44They were the first two guys to break down that forbidden door between New Japan Pro Wrestling
11:49and Impact.
11:53I'm going to step over arm bar here by Juice Robertson on David Finley.
12:00It's been the theme of the night, you know again, surgeons can fix what is broken, but it's
12:06never as good as it was.
12:08We saw about with Nakashima in his elbow, Hanari in his Achilles.
12:12And it's the same with Finley in his shoulder.
12:16It'll never be right.
12:17It'll never be 100%.
12:20But maybe that's the difference with Juice Robertson.
12:23You're absolutely going after that shoulder with every bit of the killer instinct.
12:29And Juice isn't, he's had his injuries in the past as well, he's had that broken hand.
12:35Yeah, and of course every, oh, every wrestler is dinged up.
12:39Juice saying that, or Finley saying how hard Juice hits.
12:45That is his reputation.
12:48And Juice coming back for the money.
12:51Coming back for the money to join Bullet Club.
12:54That's exactly it.
12:55Yeah, and for the man that played to the crowd, the flamboyant one for so long.
13:00The fan favorite now saying, hey, I'm in here to cash a bunch of checks.
13:05Using that right arm, knocking him down.
13:08I've made enough FU money that I'm going to get the hell out of here.
13:12Well, David Finley saying FU to Juice Robertson.
13:15The neck breaker.
13:17So Finley basically reduced to one arm right now.
13:21But using that right arm effective.
13:22And boy, this cork and faithful has a favorite in David Finley, no doubt about it.
13:39Finley might be the fastest wrestler.
13:41Straight line speed in a new Japan ring.
13:48And Juice knows Finley's one gear and that's straight forward and drops him shoulder first
13:54on the top of the ring.
13:56Back to the left arm.
13:57And now going to take him down.
13:59And the Fujiwara arm bar.
14:05It's a fundamental hold, Yoshiaki Fujiwara, a stern dojo master for New Japan Pro Wrestling
14:12and UWF.
14:15And there's no doubt that when these two were in the noge dojo together, they learned how
14:21to apply and torture with just this hold.
14:30Finley trying to get some relief at the ropes and now drag back out in the center.
14:34And there's only so much pain a human being could take.
14:40And that's why Red Shoes is right there if Finley wants to give up.
14:45Now that shoulder might have to completely come unglued for Finley to tap out or say, I quit.
14:55But he does get the boot on the bottom rope.
14:57So that forces Juice to have to let go of the hold at least for a second.
15:04In the spot that David Finley is in, he certainly won't quit.
15:10Any other opponent, a different position on the card, a different knight than I am, well maybe.
15:17But, you know, Red Shoes would have to stop this if it's a submission hold that ends this match.
15:27And now going to do more damage out on the floor, yanking him by that left arm
15:32to whip his body time and time again into the barricade.
15:40But remember, Kevin, the heart that David Finley showed in the New Japan Cup in 2020
15:46and just the similar circumstances against Switchblade Jay White.
15:51And having that limb tortured and being dominated and still finding a way through.
15:59Nobody expected him to make the semifinals of that tournament.
16:02No, that's for sure.
16:04Juice Robinson's best in the New Japan Cup, a quarterfinal appearance.
16:10And now exposing the parquet floor, the wooden floor here.
16:16It's the end of fucking David Finley!
16:27I don't think this gorking crowd wants to see the end of David Finley, but that's what we might get.
16:32Oh, no, no, no, no.
16:34Piledriver on the floor, piledriver on the floor.
16:38You can see that wood exposed and how Finley's head would crash into it.
16:42But wait a minute, oh, it's Juice Robinson's spine!
16:49The backdrop must life-saving move for David Finley.
16:54A life-saving move for David Finley, a match-saving move for David Finley.
16:59You heard the smack of the lower back onto the floor here of Corcoran Hall and he's writhing in pain.
17:08Oh, and Finley rolling back, rolling into breaks the count.
17:11You want to give me the facts, huh? Huh?
17:13That's how you like on the field!
17:19Oh!
17:20Stop!
17:20Oh, no, no, stop!
17:22Come over here!
17:24Yeah!
17:26Please, please!
17:31Yeah!
17:35Man, oh, man.
17:58All Red Shoes can do is stand with his hands on his hips because he can't stop this.
18:03David Finley won't stop this.
18:06Now, rightly applying the count because that's going to be the only way David Finley's going to get in the
18:12ring.
18:12And if the redness descends, Kevin, then we might have a double count out or a double DQ.
18:22Spine first on the edge of the ring.
18:26And brings Juice Robinson under the bottom rope.
18:28Red Shoes will go ahead and stop the count.
18:30Let's go! Come on!
18:35Finley not coming into this match alone.
18:37He's certainly got 1,300 from Cork and Hall on his side.
18:42A catch is.
18:44Oh, nice.
18:45The Irish curse.
18:46Paws down one fair in the air loop.
18:48Two!
18:49And a kick out.
18:54Come on!
18:55Come on!
18:59Come on!
19:00Come on!
19:00Oh, you've had enough!
19:02You've had enough?
19:03Huh?
19:04Huh?
19:05Huh?
19:05Come here, Frank.
19:06Come on!
19:07Huh?
19:08Huh?
19:08Where's all that big time?
19:09Where's all that big time?
19:12Where's all that big time?
19:14Oh!
19:14Blindside shot.
19:15Cover two!
19:17Juice gets that shoulder up.
19:20Again, Finley's got to make this opportunity count.
19:22There's only so much fight left in his body after Juice Robinson
19:28targeted that left shoulder.
19:33That's all Juice can do as it's hard.
19:36Oh!
19:36Oh, my God.
19:37And he stomped that across the hand.
19:40Yeah, that was the broken hand.
19:41The hand that Juice broke right here at Cork and Hall.
19:44That's what we talked about earlier on.
19:46That's the killer instinct David Finley needs to tap into.
19:51Oh!
19:53Oh!
19:56I'm sorry!
19:57No, you're not.
19:58No, you're not.
20:00No, you're not.
20:01Oh!
20:02David, come on!
20:04No, no, no.
20:05No, no, no, no.
20:07Huh?
20:08Huh?
20:09Huh?
20:09You asked me.
20:10You asked me.
20:13You asked me.
20:14You asked me.
20:15You asked me.
20:17No, no, no.
20:20He's all right.
20:23No!
20:24Dude!
20:25Dude!
20:26Come here.
20:27Come here.
20:28Come here.
20:29Trying to find.
20:32Oh, now just biting his hand.
20:36But Kevin, he's got to win this match.
20:38He's got to beat Juice Robinson.
20:40He's not going to do it if he gets DQ'd.
20:43And knowing Red Juice has a long whistle, we see Juice loosening the straps on the corner pad while Finley's
20:51having words with Uno.
20:52This is giving Juice valuable time to set a trap that David Finley is completely unaware of.
21:00And now pulling that corner pad away with him.
21:04Thumbs him in the eye.
21:05Oh, no, no, no, no, it wasn't the turn buckle.
21:11It was the corner post that Juice wanted.
21:14Oh, oh, oh, oh.
21:17You could hear Finley screaming.
21:18C'est ce qui s'est passé à la main de la main de la main de la main de
21:32la main.

22:54Shingo Knight 2
22:59But it's just delayed the inevitable as far as Juice Worminson and David Finlay are concerned.
23:18And now we're going to try it from the opposite side.
23:20We'll see if Finlay has another counter as Juice is trying another superplex.
23:41Finlay back on his heels, back on his rear end rather, as now Juice will hoist him.
23:48This time Finlay has no answer. Superplex!
23:53And you heard the groan of the crowd knowing that their hopes for David Finlay are being snuffed out by
24:01Juice Worminson.
24:03Oh no, no, no!
24:05Good man! He got it! The traspander! The traspander! If he can make the cover, it's over, Kevin!
24:11He's crawling! He's crawling!
24:14Oh, but too swollen to the ropes and out of the ring! Damn it!
24:19And you hear Finlay just howling in frustration!
24:24Juice with great situational awareness.
24:28Knowing the state that he was in, able to roll away, denying Finlay.
24:48Now rolling it back in, but that opportunity is lost and Finlay's going to have to go on the offense
24:53again.
24:54Can we try for it again? He wants Traspander one more time.
24:58Second time. This time Juice lands on his feet.
25:01Oh, he caught the left!
25:03And now that sets up Pulp Friction. Pulp Friction, here we go!
25:08Got it! Oh no, he beat Shingo Tsukagi!
25:11Here we go, after Pulp Friction, the leg is hooked.
25:14And that's it.
25:15Two! No!
25:16It's done!
25:24Juice Worminson echoing the sentiment of fans all around the world.
25:29They cannot believe that David Finlay just kicked out of Pulp Friction.
25:34And listen to these people!
25:34Out of Pulp Friction is a huge part of the world's world.
25:35Good job, everybody!
25:42Come on!
25:46There you go!

34:35Good night from Cork and Hall, njpwworld.com, the king of sports.
34:39We got way back, as everyone here watching knows.
34:44Hell, we've main evented Cork and Hall as a team multiple times.
34:47Been victorious as a team multiple times.
34:51So fighting somebody that knows me better than anybody is very hard.
34:56Fighting somebody I once considered a brother, very, very hard.
35:00But the fact of the matter is, we both have similar goals, and neither of them are winning tag team
35:05championship gold.
35:07We both want to be number one.
35:08We both want to be on top.
35:10Huh?
35:12The World Heavyweight Championship is held by one man.
35:15The United States Championship is held by one man.
35:18The Never Openweight Championship is held by one man.
35:21There are no room for teams at the top.
35:23Huh?
35:24Huh?
35:25Which brings me to the Sosprey.
35:28I know this is yours.
35:30I know you want it.
35:31I know you want it fair and square, but the fact of the matter is, I don't give a damn.
35:37This is my ticket to getting into your head, and you can have it back when you take it off
35:42of me.
35:42Until then, tough luck, bitch.

35:47I hope you're ready.
