00:0255 professional base jumpers from around the world took part in the Kuala Lumpur Tower International Base Jump 2026,
00:11leaping one after another from the iconic tower before circling the structure and landing safely.
00:25The event set a new Malaysia Book of Records record for the most participants in a consecutive tower base jump.
00:33Event director and base jumper Idros said base jumping from the 421 meter tower leaves little room for error,
00:41with jumpers reaching the ground in about 10 seconds if their parachute fails to deploy.
00:48So, we have to ask for this year that there is no incident-incident happening.
00:54For the viewers, from the tower, if we jump and the bayou won't come down, we have to reach 10
01:00seconds.
01:02That's why we have to make sure that the bayou will be right.
01:07The event also marked Kuala Lumpur Tower's 30th anniversary
01:16adding another milestone to this year's celebration.
