00:00Hey everyone, so a total solar eclipse is one of those jaw-dropping events you'll remember forever,
00:05but looking at the sun without proper protection can wreck your eyes in seconds.
00:09I went down the rabbit hole and found the best deals out there, and today I'm counting down
00:13the top 5 solar eclipse glasses for safe sun viewing, so you can watch the sky safely without
00:18breaking the bank. Kicking things off at number 5 is this 5-pack of paper eclipse glasses that's
00:24honestly the budget champ of the whole list. They're CE and ISO certified for both total and
00:29partial eclipse viewing, and they start at just $3.81, which is nuts when you think about how much
00:35your eyes are worth. With nearly $3,500 sold and a perfect 5-star rating, people clearly trust these,
00:42so if you want cheap, reliable protection for the whole family, this is a no-brainer.
00:47Coming in at number 4, we've got a slightly more premium pick that meets the ISO 12312-2'2015 E,
00:54standard, the gold standard for eclipse eyewear. What I love here is the flexibility, you can grab
00:59a 1, 2, 3, or 5-pack depending on your crew, and at $6.58 it's still really affordable.
01:07It's sitting at a 4.8 rating with almost 4,000 sold, so it's a solid, well-reviewed choice if
01:12you want that extra peace of mind stamped right on the frame. At number 3 is a set that takes
01:18eye
01:18protection seriously, fully ISO certified for direct sun astronomy observation and events.
01:24This one runs $8.23, a little more than the others, but you're paying for that certified
01:29confidence and a design that feels a bit more put together. It's got a flawless 5-star rating
01:34and over 4,300 units sold, which tells me folks who actually care about their eyes keep coming
01:39back to this exact pair. Number 2 is where things get interesting, because this is a wholesale style
01:45option that comes in packs of 10, 20, 30, 50, even 100 pairs. If you're a teacher, a scout leader,
01:52or just the person organizing the whole neighborhood watch party, this is your pick,
01:56and it starts at only $5.44. With nearly 5,000 sold and a 4.9 rating, it's basically the
02:04go-to
02:04bulk buy for group eclipse viewing. And finally, taking the top spot at number 1, the set genuinely
02:10nails the balance of price, quality, and trust. It meets the ISO 12312-2.2015 standards for safe
02:19direct sun viewing, comes in 1, 2, 3, or 5 packs, and it's only $5.91. Nearly 5,000 people
02:27have bought
02:28these and it holds a perfect 5-star rating, so for my money, this is the safest, smartest buy on
02:33the
02:33list. Alright, that wraps up my top 5 solar eclipse glasses for safe sun viewing. All the links are
