00:00If you've ever spent half an hour wrestling with tiny Ethernet wires only to get a failed
00:04termination, you know how frustrating bad crimp ends can be. Today, we're taking the headache
00:09out of building custom cables by looking at the top 5 CAT 6 RJ45 connectors for network wiring,
00:15and I made sure to track down the absolute best deals so you can get solid,
00:19reliable gigabit speeds every time. First up is the Ampcom Pass-Through
00:24STP RJ45 connector, and the standout feature here is its shielded metal casing paired with
00:2850-micron gold-plated contacts that crush crosstalk and interference. At just around $2.80,
00:35it's an incredible bargain for anyone who needs clean pass-through capability.
00:40It's totally worth buying if you're running cables near power lines or just want a prograde,
00:44shielded finish without burning a hole in your wallet.
00:48Next on the bench is the Zorax Pass-Through Connector Pack, specifically engineered to
00:52take on thicker 23 AWG solid-core wire that usually jams up cheaper plugs.
00:58Sitting at around $6.08, this pack gives you gold-plated 8 PHC pins that bite down cleanly
01:04every single time. It's worth picking up because it eliminates the struggle of forcing standard CAT
01:096 into undersized channels, saving your fingers and your sanity during big home wiring projects.
01:15Moving to number 3, we have these CAT 6 crystal and shielded pass-through connectors,
01:20which combine a see-through crystal body with an outer metal shield. Priced at roughly $6.73,
01:27they give you the best of both worlds, EMI protection from the shielding and crystal clear
01:32visibility to double-check your T568B color order right up to the edge. If you hate wasting
01:38connectors on misaligned wires, the visual feedback on these makes them well worth every penny.
01:43Fourth on our list is the Zorax 100-piece Assorted Color Pass-Through Kit,
01:47which comes neatly packaged in a handy plastic storage bottle with 5 bright colors.
01:52For around $9.65 for a full 100-pack, you're getting serious bulk value.
01:59This kit is totally worth it if you love clean cable management, because you can instantly color
02:03code your security cameras, gaming consoles, and smart home drops without buying separate
02:08strain relief boots. Rounding out the top 5 is the Zorax 50-piece Shielded CAT 6 and CAT 6A
02:14heavy-duty connector, featuring a robust three-pronged contact design built for FTP and SCP setups.
02:21Coming in at about $8.28, those three-pronged gold contacts pierce cleanly into both solid and
02:27stranded cores for a rock-solid electrical connection. It's worth buying if you're doing
02:32high-demand, high-bandwidth runs where network drops simply aren't an option.
