00:00Round one, fight!
00:04You win!
00:05It's surreal to have spent so many hours
00:08playing the original Street Fighter game as a child,
00:11to then come and step into the entire world of Street Fighter.
00:15Street Fighter!
00:18And it feels unreal.
00:21Chun-Li, I looked up to Chun-Li growing up.
00:25Street Fighter is so meaningful for so many kids growing up in the 90s,
00:29and so for me, it was so important that the way that we shot in this film
00:32sparks the feelings of nostalgia that you have any time you play the game.
00:37Such a ridiculous look.
00:39These characters are recognizable to Street Fighter fans.
00:42They're legendary, they're iconic.
00:44Ryu, Kin, the white, the red geese, all of that.
00:47You have to have it.
00:48Give the people what they want!
00:49There's so many people that are into 90s stuff and 90s music.
00:52This is also speaking to them.
00:54Joel Kola, baby!
00:56To be honest, the people on the set are Street Fighter fans,
00:59and we put a lot of care and love into this film.
01:02And I think people will appreciate the moves.
01:05They really look like the moves in the game.
01:07We want the pageantry and the characters,
01:09the signature moments, the stances, everything.
01:14That was some Avacadabra shit.
01:17It's not a beauty pageant, Vega!
01:21I'm so excited that we get a Sheriff Street Fighter
01:23with a whole new generation.
01:24And I think...
01:25I don't know again!
01:27You win!
01:29You win!
