With our first Lodge to Lodge (http://www.rivervalley.co.nz/lodgetolodge.html?lnum=96236), river trip of the year departing the next day, it seemed to management a really good idea that maybe, just maybe, the new guides should famil the second days section of the trip. What eventuated was a relaxing afternoon of exploring and relaxing, as Jess and Ben in kayaks, and Arnie and Brian in an inflatable kayak, paddled this Grade 1-2 section of the Rangitikei River, NZ. This section passes through the Mokai Gorge, under the Gravity Canyon bungy bridge, and takes in scenery depicted in the Lord of the Rings. For further information on this trip follow the link above.
