On 26–27 September 2026, I visited the Space Pole Open Days in Uccle, Brussels, and spent a few hours exploring the site and discovering more about Belgium’s work in space and science. I walked around the different areas of the Space Pole, looked at scientific instruments and exhibitions, and stopped to see the various demonstrations and activities prepared for visitors. I also got to see the impressive inflatable planets in the courtyard, which made the place feel even more connected to the theme of space. 🌍 There were plenty of things to discover, from astronomy and space research to meteorology, atmospheric science and information about the work carried out by Belgian scientists.
